Note carefully please that this feature requires your service plan to include the ability... not all levels of service include plan, and not all carriers offer. In addition, sometimes additional software for your computer must be obtained from the carrier. But, carrier specific questions should be directed to the carrier... here, we can only give you the credits information... your operator must provide you with all of the specific information required.

Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to use voice dialing with Bluetooth

When I created first of all my bluetooth, I was able to use the voice dialing without any problem.  Now, it does not work.  When I try to make a call using bluetooth, the screen displays "voice dialing initialization" and just stays there.  Voice dialing is always working to make a call with the handset.  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

I have exactly the same problem.  The only thing that restores it must draw on the battery. Then, it is set for a day or two and return to the "blocking during initialization".

I read the audio entering BT during initialization, before the sound "tones" to let you know the word, it will lock.  When I remember not to speak before the beep, it seems to work better.

    Give it a try!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones after International travel, cannot cross GSM network only WiFi internet

I live in Germany and recently went to the Netherlands. When I crossed the border, Vodafone made me cut my data services due to roaming, which I did.  When I went back in Germany and handed over running my data services, I now can't get internet access (browsing and e-mail) when I am connected to my network domestic wi - fi.  As soon as I get out of my house, I can't access e-mail or internet on GSM network.  Texting still works like the phone feature.    I hope there is a change in the fast configuration I can do, but so far, all indications are that it connects to the network vodafone.de, so I think it's a setting on the phone rather than a network problem.

I get the error message is "the network is currently unavailable...". »

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Pearl pirate

When I consult my applications today, I noticed several new icons appear that I do not place here. It seems that my Pearl has been hacked and I don't know how.

"These icons are labeled as 'community" ".
Games ', 'Stop Graphics', 'multimédia Stop', 'Stop Applications,' 'music Apps', 'Stop signal' and 'stop the themes '.

I thought that the Blackberry software was safe so far.  I guess that there are virus somewhere in the system.

What is the best way to get rid of these hacks and how can I avoid them in the future?

Thanks for the info because it was the first time they appeared. I have the phone for nearly two years without these icons. I guess it was ATT who did it.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry® Smartphones Pearl 8100 phone deletes text and e-mail below 400 k, 'known problem '?

I have a memory card & everything I can possibly put out there is stored there (music, photos, etc.).  I have deleted a large number of programs supplied with the phone to free up memory & have added only Facebook & a Sudoku game. I called technical support for my service provider (T-mobile) and I described my problem to them.  They walked me through how to delete my browser cache & Facebook, so I now do it on a regular basis.  I had summer through my text messages and delete the ones on a basis regular, with maybe 3 saved max.   Support says that my phone will start automatically remove my text every time messages that my free files is lower to 400,000.  My question is, what am I missing?  What else is eating my free files?  Today, I always had to take the battery out of my phone and it reboot because it says my free files sucked!  When it was done to reboot itself, it had 11 million free files!  What is the problem with this phone?  I have the latest version of the software I can get, which is a version of 4.2 because I said that T-mobile will not support the 4.3 (extremely frustrating because all the cool stuff to download requires 4.3).  I told that I qualify for a new phone without penalty in August... Should I just hard out and switch to a curve?  New models are pearls less buggy?  I really like the Pearl it corresponds very well in my hand and can easily fit in my pocket, but the function is SO much more important than fashion.

Thanks to all those who can answer me with a better solution, or who has had experience with the Pearl & T-mobile.

I used to use a BlackBerry Pearl, myself and many loved.  I found this article on the site Web of BlackBerry that can troubleshoot and it seems that some of the suggestions that you already follow:

    Hope that helps.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can HP fax/printer "dial out" through 7130 or model later?

I own a Blackberry 7130 and have no phone land line to my office. I have suppliers who only receive orders by fax or mail. Is there a solution to connect my HP 5500 fax/printer to the 7130 and "dial", send the fax?

If not, is there a newer model with which this feature is possible?

    Thanks in advance,

    Richard

    Hello

    The answer is: No.

But there are a lot of other options to sedn faxes fomr the BB.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Storm 9530 voice dialing does not?

I have a problem, try to use the voice dialing on my phone.  He used to work properly, but now whenever I try to access the voice dialing, it goes to screen of voice dialing and it begins Initializing/synchronization, but it cancels any return to the main screen.  I tried to use the convenience keys and touch screen to access the voice dialing.  Nothing works.  Help, please!

Well, it's not as tragic as one might think... but it's tedious and requires care and attention. I am not really convinced that it's a corrupt... BONE but the process to understand it is basically the same in any case. Let's see... first things first:

    (1) decide what OS you want to install. If your operator has published an updated version, you'd be advised to level because that usually has various fixes and others. You can check your version version supported carriers through this Portal:

Also, you are not limited to a little your carriers released OS... If another carrier has published something with patches or features you want, you can use it... it takes just a little something (see below).

    (2) make a good inventory of all of your applications module that you got from other sources than the AppWorld. AppWorld apps will fine reinstall... others you need to address, including the necessary activation codes.

    (3) see this procedure:

If you have chosen in step 1 above, some other carriers OS package, then insert it between steps 1 and 2 (in the procedure linked here) the deletion of a file named PROVIDER. XML.

The key to your problem will be causal - since you can not limit any potential cause, I think you really need to be very careful with your apps add-on. I suggest to the foregoing except to provide your addons on your BB. Do slowly, one at a time, leaving perhaps several days or a week between. In this way, you can determine the behavior at startup and therefrom the culprit the app module (assuming causality). If you go through the above OS reloads and immediately put your add-ons, so if the behaviour returns that you have no way of knowing what the cause was... it could have been the OS or one of the Add-ons... you would have no way of knowing for sure. Slow course with the Add - ons gives you the opportunity to discover.

Good luck and let us know!

  • The new facebook killed my Dx application blackBerry smartphones Pearl other apps no longer works...

OK, this is not quite dead, but I just downloaded the new update and as it was the download I received SMS messages.

I let it finish downloading, with uninstalling and restarting the older version but then I couldn't find my new messages and the layout was weird and now I can isn't even access my SMS to verify if messages or send new and if I try to click on the TEXT Messages my cell freezes.

Is it possible that the new application is initially a little problem on my phone?

I can only assume it came from the update that the phone is barely 2 weeks old and I have never had a problem with it. Also, the new facebook application works very slowly... I was wondering if there was a way to downgrade to older version? In hope that maybe my Pearl will start working properly again.

I believe actually say that I finally found these messages drasted!

But that's exactly what I ended up doing...

Click the menu - messages icon - screen - display folder

I started to go through each folder individually, until I finally found the '3 new' who were not new and were somehow 'relisted' as 'new' nearly a week and a half after I had received and read them...: strangeness S. Again, I couldn't access to actually open them so I just deleted them. He always showed that I had 3 new messages, so I did another reboot (with cell is turned on, remove the battery, wait 1 min & reinsert) and when it loaded up the notification had finally disappeared. Yadira I was starting to go crazy lol

So, I just wanted to say a big THANKIES EVERYONE to help him, he was greatly apreciated!<3>

    HIYA!

You should not have problems with the removal of VD on your phone, I am taken away from me and have not had any problems. But for the love of caveats, I recommend you of course a backup prior to the withdrawal.

Mine was deleted 3 months (more or less) with no problems.
