  • RIM blackBerry smartphones ever reqiured for include data carriers intend to their subscibers who buy a Blackberry?

I realize that it is an old topic. But I always thought that RIM requires a data plan for all Blackberry devices sold by all carriers. I am aware of AT & T and SIM cards. Someone registered this RIM phone number? (877-255-2377) ever called, but someone else please clarify. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I don't mind paying for the data plan because I use it. He also likes. Another expert said that all carriers have an agreement with RIM to include a data plan with subscribers, so all carriers have policies that they cannot sell Blackberry without a data plan. GSM networks used to give this option, but is more to do. Regarding the purchase of a Blackberry on ebay, Amazon, can but the trick is with the SIM cards, put a car phone AT & T or T-Mobile, without data SIM in a Blackberry, it will work for the voice, but no data.

What data recovery app will be working with me?  Please recommend some, thanks!

If you use Blackberry Priv, you can try some android data recovery app, which you can find similar applications on Play store and google. I am currently using it, which has helped me recover deleted contacts and text messages. You can have a try: http://www.androidphonesoft.com/resources/recover-lost-contacts-from-android-phone.html

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Application Update gel & several data Mails

Hi, I'm new to the forum so please excuse the mistakes of beginners.

I have a Blackberry 8310 and the other day when using the Desktop Manager synchronization message came

"Verification of updates of device applications.  Please wait... »

But the office just froze.  After repeated re - try I uninstalled Desktop Manager, downloaded version 4.6 and installed.  Unfortunately when you browse through the installation I checked the box to wrong server (I should have checked one in low re Internet Server) and since then I was inundated by hundreds of emails from data, as well as the update is always freezing.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice (manufacturing make sure you tick the box on the right server) but still no luck.  So I have two problems

    (1) why the update freezes the Desktop Manager and

    (2) how to stop countless emails?  I saw an answer about uninstalling it and using the BIS option, but I did not understand what it means.

    Thank you!

    Hello again,

Now, I tried your suggestion, but when I try to change the settings I get the error report in a temporary folder configuration file is missing.  Instead, I uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop software, taking care to check the BIS option, but still I get multiple emails.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Wi - Fi working if data Services (Mobile network) is DISABLED

Today, I had some problems with the Wi - Fi...

The problem is that Sub Manage Conections > MOBILE NETWORK settings there is an option that says: 'Data Services '... Because it is under the settings of MOBILE NETWORK that is linked to my network operator, and I have no data Plan I guessed I could turn that OFF...

So then a few minutes later I tried to use what is Soft, and there is no link... so I tried using the browser also without lucky.

Then after you are looking for something that could solve my problem without finding something useful, I decided to work on it by myself, so I rebooted the BB, my router home, cheking to diagnose the connection under Internet options, but nothing seemed to work until I decided to turn the setting on Data Services, I was talking about before... and now he started working...

I don't know if it's a real problem or something else... but I think an option under Mobile network should be without interfering with the Wi - Fi, not simply no logic at all...

Under "Mobile network" you would think he would not influence him, but he does.  In order to use wifi, you must have enabled Data Services.  He was always so...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones downloaded apps vs fresh data

    Hello, newbie here.

I have a monthly 2 GB of my carrier/provider data. They said that besides that my email, all of the downloaded data from the BB server would free up to that limit its use. Did not have a bill yet, so thought you guys ask about the following:

-Already downloading AppWorld Bloomberg Mobile, Blue Mobile, call Time Tracker, Google Maps and WeatherEye, these applications use BB to disseminate their data or will my provider (and me from bytes one?)

Thanks for your time and your help.

    Luis

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I think that, no matter what method you use, the use of data will crack against your 2 GB plan. This will include DLing apps, web browsing, e-mail, regardless of the internet access and your applications need to update their data for you. There is no 'private' RIM or app network to carry data for your applications - they must go through your carrier data network and, therefore, subject to whatever terms and conditions of your places of carrier on this use.

    Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 'Globe' notification below the date - what is it?

I'm used to see notifications when I have a new text message, below the date on my storm, where an envelope appears with a small red asterisk and a 1 next to it, however yesterday a small globe (it is yellow and resembles the icon of the browser) is showed up with a 1 next to him, I looked through the menu but sees nothing - what is it someone has an idea?

It is a search for saved browser. Go in your messages, and that the view and click the BB button (menu) file look in messages from the browser and you should find it select and delete.

Hi people.  Upgrading wireless was excrutiatingly long. I cancelled it and the update via the Fund Manager was less than 9 minutes.  However... None of my calendar items were restored.  The system says that they were saved in a "PI" file in my documents.

Connect your phone to the PC, open DM and go to backup/restore then restore and navigate to the My Documents folder and find the file named .ipd LoaderBackup-(2009-05-31), must then restore your data, but I do not know if your third-party applications will be restored.

    Feature: BB 9000 (bold)

    Server: BES

For as far as I know no app for that... RIM's entire reputation was his push email technology that others have tried to imitate.

The RIM of your email server grabbing and pushing on your device cannot be scheduled. It happens.

And you're on BES... you can talk with your BES administrator. Perhaps there is something that I do not know WHAT BES associated.
