  Hello Birdbrain,

  Go to Options > display > on-screen display. Search for a light blanket and uncheck the box. And then click Save.

• BlackBerry Smartphones red flashes 4 times and custom lights

  Phone turns off.

  Tried plug it into a wall usb cable charger and laptop to charge, but each time the constant stay red time for about a minute and then turns it flashing four times quickly and then a short break and then blink four times (and he repeated just that over and over again.)

  Please can you let me know what I need to do to make it work.

  Ok.. what I've done

  On XP (in this case in a parallels VM) I uninstalled all the blackberry related to software give me a clean slate.

  Installed: "9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel518_PL4.0.0.248_A4.6.0.303_Orange_UK.exe."

  I HAVE NOT installed the Desktop Manager.

  Ran

  /NoJVM loader.exe and select 'next' when he said peripheral unknown

  There is no half feel, though... but that's ok, as it then had a '507' whitescreen reboot loop!

  Loader.exe (this time without the /jvm bit)

  He saw that the serial number so just followed the instructions on the screen

  I need some information on the flashing red led that flashes when you receive new messages. I noticed that it expires after a while... do not stay even though I have not checked my messages and I have indeed always for new messages.  Does anyone know the basics about that? I found nothing in my manual. It would be good to know how this feature works.  For example, I can wake up in the morning and have 21 new messages, but no Flash.  It stops blinking after a while to save the life of the battery? I have no idea. Thank you very much for all your advice/help.

  Aimee, the notification light only stays on for about 15 minutes after the last message again.

  If you want more you need BBAlerts, which is well worth for the features, it gives you in extended and customized notifications setting.

  Problem solved now. I logged on to the computer and downloaded the software again, but at the same time he began to load.   The LED may blink for several reasons... the a main notification messages.

  To change a profile of notification on a BlackBerry smartphone using BlackBerry® Device Software 6.0, follow these steps:

  1. On the BlackBerry smartphone home screen, click profiles.
  2. In the notification profile list, click on change sounds and alerts.
  3. Click on sounds for the selected profile.
  4. Click on the application to change. Example: Messages Messages, calendar or level 1.
  5. Make the changes.
  6. Open the Menu and click Save.

  In step 4 above, click your messages and a corresponding email account, you will see the function of Visual alerts, the value IT for the red LED flashes when you receive a message.

  Hi, every so often, I hear a notification tone on my phone and the red light blinks, I check my sms, mms, email and there is no new messages. The only way I can get the light constantly flashing is a battery pull.   I have a BLACK SCREEN (NOT SURE if IT REALLY TURNS ON or not) once I turn it on. The NUMBER of CAPS & LOCK lights flash three times with three second window and automatically shutsdown and turns on automatically. The LEDs blink with three seconds apart, keeping the machine on constantly.

  IT worked well had no warning on the battery (after a few days after the above mentioned problem I realized the battery does not charge)

  Interpreted Power Reset

  RAM (Memmory modules) -replaced New One (4 GB)

  It is based on the sequence of flashing of LED Memmory module errors. Reseating the modules memmory (2 GB + 2 GB) doesn't seem to work so I replaced it with a new (4 GB).

  I hope that this has nothing to do with the battery. This does not solve the problem.

  Unfortunately the "blink" codes are not always an accurate indication of the actual error, so this may be one hardware failure of another component on the motherboard.

  Try the following.

  Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and remove the battery.  Follow the procedure begins on Page 52 of your Interview Guide & Service to remove the battery from the RTC.

  Press and hold power for 30 seconds and then leave the laptop for 15 minutes.

  Exchange your module memory 4 GB in the other available slot.  Reinsert the RTC battery, replace the cover, plug the power adapter ( Let the main battery at the moment ) and try to start the laptop.

  Any change?

  Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside.   Are sure you you are in an area where you have a good network coverage signal strength or if falls frequently.

  While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or all supported. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.

  We should always try to close Applications correctly - avoid using key end to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage. Please take a look at those Article I don't know that it will help you overcome your problems:

  Then you can try upgrading the BBM to the latest version available for your device?

  Make that first make a local backup of your BBM contacts, after backup, delete or uninstall any existing version of your BlackBerry. On your home screen, go to Options > Advance Options > application > BlackBerry Messenger > delete BlackBerry Messenger of this list (highlight BBM press on the menu key and select delete)

  Once it is perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait a min, then reinsert back.
