  • BlackBerry smartphones restart BB Curve 8330

Just curious to know if there is a way to reboot my curve without taking out the battery or removing an application?

    Thank you.

I found the solution [Alt] [Caps] [del] to be unreliable, because sometimes it does not restart complete (I can tell because when the unit returns to the top, it is not locked), and if you have an application running that you can not leave, sometimes this key combination will do absolutely nothing!

I found the only Soft Reset solves this problem well.  Is a bit slow (I think it creates a file, open it, then asked to remove it by forcing the system to request a reboot), but you're absolutely sure that you get a full reboot without wear & tear on your battery door!

After installing it on your PC, if thats OS package by one carrier other than the carrier that your BB was built, then remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

can someone please help me because on my screen saying that I've updated knowing that I can not update the icon thing makes me want to throw the phone on the wall

    Thank you!!!

Well, that might restart the device for once and for all!

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

You can also press ALT + rightSHIFT + delete all three at the same time, to initiate a reboot.

You will find thousands of messages here in the forum describing how this reboot is done.

    Good luck.

Frankly I'd forget all of this soft, next thing you know you will have all the applications running, low battery etc etc.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones restarts = "reset"?

I downloaded 4 BB App updates earlier today, and after that each of them has been finished, the machine asked me if I wanted to restart now or more later.  Knowing that I had more to do, I said later.

So when the last of them was finished, he does not ask me if I wanted to restart.  (I assume that the software did not require it...)

    So I have not yet.

But now, I want to restart.

I don't know how to restart... all I can find help in the region is an option "reset".

I want to "reset"?  Or I want to 'Reboot '?

    They are the same thing?

Are they both carried out by removing the battery then put it back a few moments later?

    Thanks for your help...

    Dave.

Reset he would accomplish, but for me, I remove the battery and do the real thing.

    Good luck.

After restarting my 9330 after trying (once again) remove the BBM I now get a syncmon_ba_bb8530 message saying that an application cannot connect because of permissions are set incorrectly.  I can't understand what I did and just want this message to go.  All applications I've tried to use seems to work ok.

After removing and re - install Backup Assistant TWICE, everything goes well...  I am sure that the time to reboot for 6.0 is a little faster he was with 5.x...

  • 9320 constant restart blackBerry smartphones after trying to activate the Bluetooth

My BB Curve 9320 is constant restarting.

I got the phone about 9 months.  I went to activate Bluetooth for the first time today.  As soon as I opened the menu bar and "verified" bluetooth, the phone turns off.  It began to restart... He went through the entire cycle of loading and reach the screen normal, but after 3 seconds stops and restarts again.  Permanently.

    I have:

-taking the battery (several times): continues

-a followed the advice to start in safe mode, it will start in safe mode, but stops after 3 seconds and restarts

-connected to the laptop via USB, but the computer will not come to get the camera to access

I actually got on the screen and in the second 3 window was able to click on the set of networks to see that Bluetooth is more "verified"-any, yet what have the 3 seconds before the reboot cycle.

    Advice?  Suggestions?

How do I on my device in safe mode?

I already posted this article Knowledge Base, always check the KB17877

If possible to start your device in Mode safe to remove this application, it will solve your problem.

Or if you are unable to start Safe Mode and then follow this Knowledge Base to reload the operating system:

KB10144 : How to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader

But please note that this method will erase your data from the device. If you have a previous backup or using BlackBerry Protect you can restore your backups.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Curve 9360 contstanty keeps restarting

    Hello

I took my phone to use it, and it comes from the reboot for no reason. I had not downloaded something or abandoned or nothing. Now he constantly restarts, stays on for 5 seconds and restarts again. I tried to remove the battery, sim etc, nothing works. In addition to the update of the OS, is there else I can do nothing on what to do, just to keep? I can't event keep long enough to upgrade the operating system?

    Thank you

    Hi KylaB

If your device is not responding Mode safe then had to force the detection of your device by using desktop software preconfigured to load the operating system even once and you will lose your data in this process, I hope you have your past Backup. So, please follow the Knowledge Base to recover your device.

KB10144 How to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader.

Please try it and let us know.

  • BlackBerry smartphones blackberry bold 9900 stuck on 80% of its restart

The cat was on my bold 9900 when suddenly it restarts automatically. He stuck around 80% of reset on the screen and did not move. Battery and SIM, at the beginning it was rebooted fine but stops again at the same place (about 80%) and did not move. What should I do?

When you get a chance, do a battery pull.  When the red light goes on the front of the phone, hold down the back button all the time while the phone is in boot.  When initialization is complete, the phone goes into safe mode.
    http://BTSC.webapps.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB17877

Have you recently installed something, or using a custom theme?  If so, uninstall it.  If it gets stuck again on restart, I would recommend a reload of software.

Two methods of reloading of the software:

  • PROCESS of RESTARTING of blackBerry Smartphones IS at the point of DEATH

I tried to reboot my device by removing the battery and reinsert. The restart process gets to about 60% of the way through and then stops. On the screen, the white line, showing the progress extends just to the right of the touchpad with about 1 cm to complete.  I tried to connect to the Fund Manager, but it does not detect the phone in this State. Any ideas. Can it be linked to the level of battery power?  Clearly a software problem. Is it possible to go beyond this crash?
