BlackBerry smartphones save attachments

Hey, I just got an email with a few microsoft word documents. I "got" them, now how do to save them or if she did... What do record under when I want to ATTACH the files again in another email?

Thanks in advance!

I was right (for a change)

The queue of messages is designed to be a function of synthesis for all messages and missed calls, you can split the text and e-mail to separate boxes that you did, but the message remains in the main area. I can understand the concept of original design, but you're right about the options.

If you make the exception to the original concept and split messages, (due to the customer requests), so why not make full except for the choice of the place to go? I think that someone stopped on that one.

Thank you

If you want more information, just ask!

If you do not check the resolution in the post who responded to your question.

Thank you

Is there a way to save attachments in a folder as you would on your PC?

    Hello

If your Blackberry can read the attached file, you can save it.

If this isn't the case, you can't. In this case, usually, I sent to myself and read mail with webmail in the Blackberry browser, and then I can save the attachment.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Email attachments - how to save an attachment to the device memory or media card?

I have a BlackBerry 8310 Curve, which we got up to speed up our translation services.  the thing is that we have received a document attached, and we could not know how to SAVE the attachment to either the memory card or peripheral support, which would then allow us to transfer it directly to the laptop to work on.

The temporary solution we found was to convey the message to a different email address and download it to your computer. For some reason any later we could not attach the document to email the map of media either, so we had to email from the laptop to the blackberry, and then forward it to the client.

    So, my questions are:

How to save an attachment to an e-mail message OR the card memory or device support?

How can I attach a document to an email when ATTACH it to does not display the file in the folder? (of course I've already put it there)

    and as a side note

Why I could open the email attachment I had forwarded to the blackberry, but I could not open the original document (the two word .doc) sent customer e-mail.

Unfortunialy up to what your phone is updated with OS 4.5 the only way is to do it as you have in the past or I'm sure there are some programs that you can buy until you do not upgrade.

  • BlackBerry smartphones download attachments - file selection

I am struggling to find the right sequence to download an attachment.  I am trying to download a photo from an e-mail.  (actually three photos).  I guess that the destination must be my photo folder.

Here is the sequence of what I do, please someone can tell me where I'm wrong?

    1. I opened the email and there are three attachments .jpg (90 to 126 K)

    2. I select the file and a menu appears, open attachment is highlighted.  I select the option which is the attachment to download.

    3. the next menu is select file/Media Card / Blackberry / pictures.  Below it is a folder that says upward, and that's where the blue highlight.  Under is a camera.  I guess I want the pictues to go in the pictures folder, but I can't select this folder.

    4. highlight to the top, and because it's the only thing that I can support on and it appers to start the download.  Then I get a message error "an unknown error has occurred."

It's frustrating when simple things like this are so difficult.  What I am doing wrong?

you have answered your own question, file/Media Card / Blackberry / pictures is where you save it.  It is the sd card

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download attachments from email on blackberry to my laptop

Is it possible to download attachments of email on my blackberry tour to my laptop via the USB connection?

    Thank you.

When you click an attachment you have a choice called "Download attachment"? If so choose that and a boc black should appear on the screen. You should see a path at the top. So, if you have a memory card in your device this path can say ' / Media Card/BlackBerry/documents ". Also under this path, you should see the book 'Up '. So if you don't want to save the file in the folder documents in the media card, you can select 'Up' and choose a different folder. Once you find where you want to place the file, you can click on the folder and choose "Select here" in the menu that appears.

If you want to see a better view of a media or card the folder structure of the memory of BlackBerry that you can go in your media icon, click the menu button and select Explorer.

On the BlackBerry, go to Options | Media Media Card recommended parameters are:

    Media card support: WE
    Encryption mode: NO
    Mass storage support: WE
Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected: YES

Mass storage mode allows your BlackBerry to act as an extra drive when it is connected to your PC. It will appear as an extra drive letter in Windows Explorer. So you can just drag/release the multimedia files on your memory card

    Hello!

    I suggest the following:

    (2) Service reference books

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones .3gp attachments to emails

I have a 8330.  I received and email with a video link in .3gp format and I can not open, save or see it.  Is this normal or should I do something I'm not?

    Thanks for any help...

    John

Well, my post said that the .3gp file can be read with a blackberry. Unfortunately, there are some inconsistencies in the Blackberry Curve user interface:

    • If you click on your browser on a .3gp file, you can view it or download it.
    • If you click on your media browser on a .3gp file (which is on your SD card, for example), you can watch.
    • If you have a message with an attached .3gp, you can not what either.

I think you can try to convey the message to another email address and access with a webmail (like GMail).

    Here is a KB article.

You need to copy one by one.

  • Settings for blackBerry Smartphones save BB before you perform the deletion of security

Hello, we are heading to an environment of internal e-mail to Microsoft Online Services hosted email. I understand the process that all BlackBerry users will have to do a wipe of security before the reactiving of their devices. What is the best way for users to save/keep their settings before they perform the security wipe? Is it only possible to do this via the Desktop Manager? I ask because not all of our users have / use the Desktop Manager. Thanks for any help on this!

Right. Using the feature of backup and restore in the Desktop Manager is the only option for you I think. Could not set the Desktop Manager on a shared drive that everyone has access to for them to install it?

If you were using a BES I suggest using the BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager because you can configure it to allow anyone to access it from your intranet

NOP, you cannot reverse this order.

  • BlackBerry smartphones save my Z10 for DTEK50 files

    Hello community!

Need your support against my concern.

My old Z10 Blackberry stolen, I already made a backup link to BlackBerry.

I need information of contacts of this backup files transfer to my new DTEK50.

    Please help me.

    Thank you very much

The above is false. You cannot restore a backup of a device BB10 to Priv or DTEK50. You must have two devices and you must have installed on both to transfer data from the content transfer application.

The only way to do it would be to restore the backup to another BB10 device, then the content transfer application allows to transfer this unit.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones open attachments in BB 8703e

I get my emails from Outlook 2003 (Exchange Server) using the BB Desktop Redirector: this way I get all that reached my inbox at the office.  Even if my 8703e has application 'Service of attachment 4.2 BB', I can't open attachments.  The "Open attachment" selection is not on the menu when I click on the wheel.  Is this a limitation of the channel of BB to Outlook?  If so, how to solve it?

Total success!   It took me a while (and failures), however, to configure the OWA settings.  Two pointers in this regard:

-In our case, the URL should begin with https and not http

-Our necessary in the DOMAIN\user_name format username

The rest is standard: address e-mail and the same password when you connect to the domain, use the static IP address instead of the server name and domain name in the URL and the name of the mailbox (not the one that appears in the Outlook folder list).

Thank you much for the help.
