BlackBerry smartphones separate internet courier mail

When we finished the enterprise activation process, we found that the only access I have to the mail of the BES is through my messages folder. How to set up a separate my BES mail folder?

You have two choices.

You can pay $20 for a pure little utility called BES mailbox:

Demo OTA:

OR, you can set up a saved search and assign it to a key combination [Alt].  I have [Alt] B (for BES) put in place to search for all messages from the service office.  I know that a lot of people hate Messages combines all the elements, but I like it.  I have my BlackBerry configured to allow NO dialing from the home screen so that I can use the Shortuct keys for all essential applications (Messages, address book, etc.) and have a saved search for each of the six Email addresses that I receive on my BlackBerry.

I have currently my curve put in place to get my gmail email and will soon add email to work.  I wish I had boxes of reception separated for text/pic messages and blackberry messenger with each e-mail account.  Currently, I get all messages (SMS, MMS, messenger and email) to the title of the message, and then only gmail is gmail Inbox.  Is it possible to separate them?

    Thank you

    Jeremy

Yes, you can scroll on your message box, and then click your menu button. Click Hide and which will hide. Or you can click your menu button and click Add FOLDER and create a folder for all your miscellaneous items and then menu button on each item and click MOVE and move them to the new folder.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones installation Internet email icon is missing from my 8310

Installation Internet E-mail is missing from my 8310

    I wouldn't need BIS right >?

~ ~ ~ my phone is a piece of shit and I had it replaced, I had to use an old backup of the Desktop Manager, and now I have 3 different e-mail accounts, send a habit, one old emails from March ' 09, and the other he's there looking stupid... so what I would do is remove my email (yahoo), then add it back, but in general the icon I want is missing

Please help, looks like phone support for RIM's day

Soory so seem to be a noob, but I've looked everywhere

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

BIS and the icon you're looking for are the same thing - BIS is the service offered by your operator, which allows driving between your email accounts (Yahoo, GMail, etc.) and your BB. The icon you're looking for is the interface to the level of the device to BIS. There are other interfaces as well, for example from a web browser for PC:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F

See this demo for device-specific information on access to the configuration application and configuring e-mail BIS:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/blackberry101/Setup.jsp#tab_tab_email

Now, what you may also face lies in the fact that you have changed the devices... each BB has a unique PIN, that is bound BIS account to your carrier. If they don't move your old BB to the new, then this might explain things... you can contact your operator for assistance with your BIS account - they (no RIM) control this account and the service.

Hope that helps... give a little of this a try and let us know now.

I am also struggling to access the Facebook app - when I open it say that my package does not support! I checked with my carrier and everything is ok their end! Hi and welcome to the Forums!

To use FaceBook and the ability to e-mail Push RIM owner, you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Data for devices plans non - BB are different from those of BB devices. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have a compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), then you will have personal email added to the e-mail Setup Wizard.

  • E-mail blackBerry Smartphones and Internet facility

    Hello

One of my friends bought me a Storm 9530 by Amazom.com but unfortunately it came marked with Verizon and Telus, if the package says it should work with all providers of services around the world. My friend he shipped to Zambia for me and when I turned on the unit it asks usual installation and configuration. I was unable to get it set up for the use of data and its only work for voice and text.

I visited the site to support TELUS and followed all their recommended troubleshooting options but the unit won't always get configured for e-mail and internet use. I even tried to install Opera Mini on it, but it still doesn't work. I can't find the installation on the device even files after download via PC and copy it to the device.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I'll be very grateful.

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is nothing to add to your BB by be. by using the services specific BB is a matter of your company that provides those for you. And there are some things that need to happen for them to do. The first is that you must be subscribed to an adequate data of them plan to allow all the services you want. See this FAQ for general reference:

With hundreds of carriers in the world with dozens of variations on this generic information, it is impossible for us to know if you have a suitable data plan. You must decide on the services you want, and then talk to the carrier of each specific service to ensure that the data plan you have to include those.

But it's not the end of it. Activation of these services on the BB is a matter of Service books. SBs are pushed to the BB (by carrier) when you subscribe to their plan to include them. However, they can usually only expel SBs for specific models of BB that they support directly on their network. Bringing a failure to model charge BB on their network tends to prevent them from being able to push the SBs to you in order to activate the services. And get the SBs otherwise is possible... but quite difficult.

I suggest you only begin to work directly with your carrier about all this. If all goes well they will be ready and how to get your fully active BB. Otherwise, it can be difficult and even impossible to do. Do so on your own requires, in your hands, a BB that is fully activated on their network so that you can extract the SBs and put it on your own... complicated indeed...

Good luck and let us know!

  • Problems of blackBerry Smartphones with internet and e-mail-new phone purchased internationally through E - bay

    Hello

I have three BBs - the latter is a Pearl Flip I bought new on e - bay.  After spending several hours trying to find why I keep getting error messages when I try to set up my email, I realized that the phone only has 5 service books and doesn't have a book, 'Provisioning '.

I tried to get online through my BIS to get new books, but I don't seem to be able to.  I have a SIM card only through TESCO which I think are using O2.  When I rang TESCO to clarify, they said that my BIS was BB!  I tried to explain that they were the carrier, but that the call was cost me at a premium rate, I dropped!

I tried to enter PIN and IMEI of the phone the 02 and T-Mobile (the phone is locked to T-Mobile originally), but they do not recognize the numbers.  I am now stuck can you all please help? All other functions are fine.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones adding pop3 e-mail is not an option?

I just bought a new 8310 on eBay because my last one had fallen into the water and wound up being cheaper for me. The phone is new (as far as I can tell) and shows no sigs usage, at all. I'm having a problem well and hope someone could me the tsar in the right direction. I can't add any email accounts other them those a blackberry server. I remember that my last blackberry offered three options under Configuration of E-mail:

    1. I want to use a professional email with a Blackberry server account
    2. I want the configuration of e-mail skp
    3. I want to add a... (I don't remember the exact phrase, but this was a non-blackberry/pop3 e-mail accounts)

The third option does not exist for me, on this phone. I am able to connect to the internet and make calls but I can't get emails.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to share the resolution to my problem with everyone. I do not call AT & T and let them know that I had phones. Once I have read the info on my phone and reset it, I could add my e-mail address. I am that mark it as resolved.

  • BlackBerry smartphones automatically receive e-mails - never ceased to function

My BB has ceased to receive emails automatically.   I need to disable the connection and restart to see the "arrows" and receive e-mails.  Very frustrating.  I get emails on my computer and as I say, they stopped coming to my BB automatically on their own.  I'm not a business client - do not have a company server or THIS Department.  I'm on my own.

I have no idea why this is happening. Maybe I've changed or has changed a setting somewhere, but I have no idea and can't find an answer to this anywhere.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Several things could happen... If you have changed the settings in ENCORE? If this isn't the case, then try these things:

    (1) with market, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    (2) registry of the THS:

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (3) refer the Service directories:

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

If, after 15 minutes or so e-mails still do not come (remember to send yourself a test so there will really be a 'new' email), then delete and re-create the BIS conduit for this e-mail account would be your next step.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones no Internet connection

    Hello world

for a year (or maybe a little longer), I use a blackberry torch 9860. A few days ago, I updated the OS to 7.0 to 7.1.

Unfortunately, I can't use the Internet more. Normal text Message or call is not a problem.
I wasn't in the room all the time while the device has been updated and I don't really know what wasgoing evil.

I really tried everything to fix it, but I really don't know what I'll do to recover my Internet.

I hope someone can help me.

(I also hope that my English is correct, because I am of the Germany)

    Thanks for your help

    Hawkeye

I've seen this before. I would recommend downgrading to 7.0. This fixes usually it. I don't know why 7.1 does not work in some cases.

  • Settings MMS for blackBerry Smartphones and Internet for 9700

Can anyone help with MMS and Internet for Bold 9700 parameters on the network of Virgin Mobile Australia? I am able to browse internet through Opera mini using APN: VirginInternet but no luck with MMS? Solves them this problem or is it true that Virgin does not support Blackberry devices.

Hello and welcome to the community!

On BB, access to a range of services is enabled by the existence, on the device, the appropriate Service books. Service books are delivered to the appliance by the network of carriers... but, normally, only for these models of specific device that takes the network carriers supported and none support BB all models. If, as you think, your carrier supports no. BB models, then you can't expect their network to offer the Service books, which means that these services that require some SBs won't work, which includes MMS. But only they can answer the question of whether to their network supports the BBs at all and your specific model BB in particular number.

    Good luck!
