BlackBerry smartphones set up Yahoo mail subfolders

How to configure Yahoo email subfolders?  I went to the Messages, Options, Email, Folder Redirection preferences folder, but my Yahoo email folders do not appear.  Thank you.

You can't have subfolders of Yahoo on the BlackBerry accounts.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones transfer between Yahoo mail and Gmail service by default for the calendar

    Nice day

I'm abandoned on the use of Yahoo Mail after 13 years.  I get expired and are having login problems and some of my messages have forwarded to my BlackBerry.  So I opted to use Gmail as my primary email provider and it has worked fine until now.

I use the Outlook calendar on my phone and sync it with my Torch 9800 using the USB connection.  If I delete my Yahoo Mail as a sevice of default for the calendar, contacts and Messaing list and select Gmail as my default service how convert all my calendar and contacts with Gmail profile.  In fact, don't know if my list of contacts would be affected since I do not see the association from the list of contacts to my Yahoo Mail currently.   If I delete my Yahoo profile would be deleted my events or would they are transferred in the default calendar profile?  Or do I just sync it again with my vision and my events will be transferred to the Gmail profile after selecting the Gmail as my default service for the calendar and the contacts list.  I hope I explained this correctly.  I also have a profile on Facebook timeline showing birthday reminders, which I am trying to remove, but it is another problem.

I want to do it right the first time and will not accidentally delete my events and contacts list.

    Thanks in advance.

Prior to do any make a full backup of the device.

I think that you can solve this problem by Gmail, default service. Then in the calendar app, go to Options. On the screen, enter the letters M O V E. Who should move all the events of the calendar by default. It's been a while since I've done it, though.

    Hello

I have a blackberry torch last week and beat me to configure yahoo mail and access the facebook application.  I don't have an option to add the internet e-mail (POP) only one company in my email settings! all ideas welcome?

I am also struggling to access the Facebook app - when I open it say that my package does not support! I checked with my carrier and everything is ok their end! The Facebook Chat application works very well!  I was previously using a Nokia N8 and all these functions has functioned and my carrier and tarrif have not changed!

As a user of BB newby, I tried everything I can think of.  I'd appreciate any tips and tricks, so I don't have to sell and go back to my Nokia.

    Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

To use FaceBook and the ability to e-mail Push RIM owner, you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Data for devices plans non - BB are different from those of BB devices. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have a compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), then you will have personal email added to the e-mail Setup Wizard.

    Hello

I just bought a Blackberry Curve to a friend.  I can't remove his e-mail accounts, and it won't let me set up a new.  Have I missed something?  When I try, it just says: "your device had a problem connecting to the server.

Any help gratefully received.  I spent all night trying to fix it...

    Thank you very much

I've never heard of a carrier of the mobile operator named "rachel", you are sure to have that right in your profile?

So, for your question, you have the BlackBerry data Plan on your mobile operator "rachel" service?

If this isn't the case, you will need to call and subscribe to the BlackBerry data Plan.

  • On Telfort (Netherlands), my unlocked 9360's blackBerry smartphones "setting up e-mail" does not start

    Hello

When you select the e-mail on the 9360 configuration option and everything with the connectivity (works of facebook and bbm), "e-mail setup" fails to launch. No new screen appears and the BB with 7.1 seems to freeze. What should do?

We ended up installing a newer version of the operating system: 7.1.2814

    That fixed the problem.

  • E-mail blackBerry Smartphones Reconcile personal Yahoo

I'm new to BB and I'm confused.

I get my emails on my BB 8530 curve yahoo personal. This is what I want.

I delete messages on my personal yahoo on my cell phone account and they are not deleted on my BB.  I would like to have messages deleted on my BB when I delete my Yahoo mail Inbox messages.

Reconciliation on my BB email settings are:

    E-mail: [email protected]

    Delete on: fast

    Wireless reconcile; On

    On conflicts: mailbox WINS

    Hello

Based on your description, it should work... see this KB for reference:

KB05133 Features of the BlackBerry Internet Service email reconciliation

However, are you sure that you remove the Yahoo Server? I ask because you said:

    rep48 wrote:

I delete messages on my personal yahoo my mobile account

I can't say for sure if you actually delete on Yahoo (for example, via its WebMail interface) or via an e-mail on PC client (for example, Outlook). If a client PC, then it is likely that the PC is not configured to remove the items from the server when you delete them in Outlook (for example). Therefore, the BB can never know the deletion being any reconciliation between the BB and Yahoo servers... There is no reconciliation between the BB and your PC's email client.

But, if you remove the Yahoo WebMail interface, then I recommend delete and reintegrate the Yahoo on your BB account and ensure once again that you have successfully configured for reconciliation 2 channels.

    Good luck!

    Morning all,

No apparent reason my Blackberry 9320 stopped sending my outgoing emails of e. The message immediately the red X for not sent. I have two e mail accounts and have tried to send on both accounts. I looked through the 'manage connections' and 'set up' menus and cannot find the problem. At this point, I found a list that said that Blackberry Enterprise Server is not connected (I can't find now) could that be the issue?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Ok.

Open one of these emails sent or not.

    Scroll down to the headers.

    What is the error message?

Go to Options > device > Advanced Options > default of Services.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Set Up missing Email

I recently downloaded 5.0 on my Blackberry Storm 9530. I'm not a fan of DM and had not much used on my PC but I just used my Mac to download some pictures. At a DM, I've updated my programs. I see now that my Set Up folder is missing the Set Up E-mail (or it has been implemented Mail) icon. I need to use it at the moment, but I'm worried. I can change my signature line or you might need to put my password by e-mail. I have no idea if these options have been moved elsewhere (I looked for them) or if I should still have the icon Set Up Email and how to get it back. I hesitate to connect to DM and watch because it causes me headaches more than anything else, and I don't really understand this kind of thing. (I just solved a problem with the help of this map with an error of java FB that resulted from upgrading)

I had a problem with the reception of messages from msn on my BlackBerry. The solution was to go to Set Up email and password email from entry. If I'm having problems coming up with e-mail, I don't know what I would do because my email is missing. I guess I could try to restart, but I was restart this thing a lot with my FB problem and it does not appear as a result of these reboots.

found my answer on another forum

I'm sorry, I don't know how to do a quick link and easy - useful response was jrdante, he was 8 message in the thread and told to perform a diagnostic test.

This issue has been resolved. Now, I have to see if there is a button that I'm supposed to click.

Sorry to be such a beginner.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Hello and welcome to the community

You must enter any of the configuration section 'Enterprise '. Rather use the BB exclusive services (including the ability to Push email, BBM, etc), you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Once you have an email Push-enabled compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), your exclusive services BB will work (for example, you will have a staff/Internet Email added to the email Setup Wizard, your BBM will work, etc.).

With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans it is impossible to say that any plan service could actually expressly provide for. Only carriers can answer this question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you want and then talk to your carrier about obtaining a data plan that allows what you want (to them).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones set up Outlook e-mail

Both will result in the same thing...

BB device - usually, it's in the configuration > e-mail settings

From a PC, use the links I've provided above.

I, myself, it is much easier to use a web browser and PC... Size screen and keyboard and all. In addition, configuration assistants, I mentioned above will not work unless you do from the PC you are currently using for Outlook. If you make the BB, you will have to manually type all parameters.

That said, you should always do this, even from PC - Wizard does not always work. But, you can at least be able to look at settings in Outlook, and then type (or, better yet, copy and paste!) them in the BIS forms. One thing that will thwart you, however - your password. I don't know if the wizards are able to get that... I hope that they CAN get the password! You will therefore need to know it... and there is no way around that.

  • BlackBerry smartphones how configure e-mail, add apps, use the web via wireless modem?

    Hello

Have a new 8310. Operating system is v4.5.0.37 platform 2.7.0.55I'm in Australia, currently with Telstra, but by train to change.

I didn't buy a data plan for the phone. I have a wireless modem for my desktop & wondering if I can use this to connect my phone to the web without buying data?

Do I need a data plan to send emails? Can I use my acct (yahoo) of existing email online, or I need to set up a special telephone? If so, please explain where and how? If this is not the case, what other info I have to configure the existing one? It seems that I need a PIN and e-addy & password (and assuming this is the yahoo password?)

    TIA

    NO.

Yes. Basically, to do anything other than use of the phone, you need a data plan. Period.

    Loosie wrote:

Yes... See the above reading material.

    Loosie wrote:

    No.... not required.

PIN... hmmm... There are several definitions for this acronym in the world of BB. The most usual is a unique identifier, as an IP address or phone number, that is assigned to the factory to your BB. It is used to register your BB for various services (Yes, through a data plan) to identify your BB on the network.

    I hope this helps.
