  I've recently updated CS6 and now whenever I try to apply a curves layer, the editing screen becomes black.  If I have another open photographs I don't see them either, please help!

  First suggestion is to go to the site of the manufacturer of your video card and see if you have updated drivers for your particular model video card.

  Otherwise, you may need to enter in Photoshop > Preferences > and set the GPU on Basic mode, or disable the GPU feature and see if that clears it.

  The GPU is integrated into the cpu, so the phone would not ring or the touchpad does not work. It is possible that the phone fell or anything that could cause the connections on the motherboard to disconnect, I gave up my 9930 and causes the connector unplugs.   I have a little problem with my computer, when I start a game, more games, age of empires 3, nfs most wanted, grand theft auto: vice city etc, the screen turns black during the game and then corrects itself after a few seconds, it becomes boring xtremely, especially when you are in the middle of something.

  Have you tried to play a game designed to run under Vista OS or you have noticed that play WXP games on your laptop preinstalled Vista. If possible, try to get the Vista game and test it again.

  I wonder if something goes wrong, while playing older games WXP on Vista platform.
