• BlackBerry Smartphones Storm1 screen turns black after sheathed

  I have Storm1 with v5.0.0.328 OS, with 3 "third party" installed applications. (Visual Voicemail, VZ Navigator and VZw tones) I do not have, or do anything else is running in the background. My problem is occasinally, after I unholster my Storm1, the screen is black. I press the buttons at the bottom of the screen, even the release button, nothing happens. I have to do a battery pull to Storm1 works again. Normally when I unholster Storm1, the wallpaper is displayed with a message, the screen is unlocked, press on unlock button to unlock.   Thanks for the help. I did the upgrade to v5.0.0.419 on my Storm1. My computer is Windows Vista, so I had fun a little hard to find certain files (c:\program files\). He did not exactly "vender.xml", but I managed to make it work. I did the backup and restore when the software prompt RIM came out. Only problem, all my MMS saved disappeared, but a single message from Verizon is still there. I consider that it is minor, because I saved a few media media card. I can can still send and receive e-mails, sms. MMS. I do not know if this OS update will solve the occasianally Storm screen goes black, after unholstering. But I mark this resolved for now.  Thank you.

  It does nothing when I click on the icon of the appworld, Ive has deleted the appworld in application management, reboot my device and install again. And still will not work. I did it several times and the appworld icon still does not work. Pls help. I recently updated my OS5 OS6 at 9300.

• BlackBerry Smartphones timeout screen stops working after alarm snooze

  After I repeat the alarm clock app, the timeout of the screen no longer works and the screen stays on indefinitely. Only solution is to reset which is very annoying to have to do every morning. Do this please be fixed?

  I just tried to install the update of security from March to my priv, it downloaded and I confirmed to restart to install the update.

  During installation, an error android icon appeared and the update stopped.

  After a while, the phone has rebooted and got into the bootloader menu.

  No matter what I choose here, I can't do that.

  What can I do?

• BlackBerry Smartphones Double flashing red light after failed update - can not turn on!

  Hello! When I installed my BB Desktop Manager and connect for the first time in my Bold 9700, he asked if I'd like to update various features on my phone, to which I agreed. The update froze - I do not altogether during that stage, but I remember that it is in the stages end as well as the scene in which he froze began with the JVM. After waiting an hour or two, I have disconnected my Blackberry, not knowing what to do. The screen stays black and the red light starts flashing.

  I looked up the fixes for the problem and they seemed a JL_Cmdr used to do a full wipe - simple - but I am on Windows 7 and it is not compatible. I get a brief command prompt screen for half a second before it closed.

  The second difficulty involved using the command prompt to get the charger in the AppLoader file - but I ran into another problem when trying to open Loader.exe, I have one "the Application Loader requires Blackberry device manager to install.

  Then raising THAT fix, I downloaded a new OS and redownloaded the Desktop Manager, but I get the same error.

  It's really depressing. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  JL_CMDR works fine in Win7. Don't launch from the file Explorer. Instead, open a command box (start > run > CMD). Then browse (just like in the BACK) where it is and run it from the command line.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackbold does not start after the progress bar screen. any help

  I have a problem with my blackberry bold 9700. When I reboot, the next screen that comes after the progress bar screen is my network name of phone, and nothing happens. I get a screen of "vodafone" with their logo.  nothing happens after and I am not able to access blackberry. What's wrong. any help on how to run again

  I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

  I was downloading some application and such today on my moms balckberry curve 8520

  then I downloaded two themes, the first restarted very well and worked when she came back

  2. On the smartphone home screen, go to Options > Applications (depending on the theme, there may be settings > Options > Applications).
  3. Select the theme that you think is suspended to the device, press the Menu key, then select Remove.
  4. Pull the battery to reset the smart phone and allow it to boot.

  I'm having a problem whith the menu options of the home screen. When I click on the BB button, I get all the icons, click again to go to the menu options and I get nothing.   I recently did the software update proposed in consequence of which I had to re - install Facebook. Since then, I found that when I go to enter a new appointment, there are some new top that says send to help: and I choose Facebook, home, or office (the 2 is what I call my email accounts)

  I don't want this option here, especially since the default value is Facebook (he seems to be in alphabetical order)

  I just upgraded my os in Bold 9700 OS 6. After the update the GPS in the phone is idle and there is no way I can activate it.

  From your home screen, go to Options > device > device and state information.  Type the word 'test' without the quotes.  There is no field in which to enter and nothing is displayed on your screen.  Just type in it.  Click OK to start the test, press the menu key and select start.  Then decide if you want to be guided by the test.  On the next screen, check the box next to GPS and click run at the bottom.  Go outside and do the test and let us know what happens.

  It is one of the big mistake on windows 10, autopilots updates, especially about the graphics drivers.

  the best way is to enter safe mode, uninstall the graphics card Intel, checking also to uninstall the software. Navigate to c:\Intel and delete all the files associated with the installation of the graphics (you can delete folder Intel also).
