BlackBerry Smartphones support: active no connection between Blackberry & computer

My computer does not recognize my Blackberry 8100 Pearl, either by cable or wireless.

My computer has an Office Manager.

Compaq 6510 equipped b of Windows Vista.

I download the latest version of the Desktop Manager: V4.6

When I connect the phone to the computer, I've been asked or I want to use it as a stock of memory or not. When I open the Desktop Manager, status is "not connected".

Please, help me. What should I do?

Hello HMeister!

Only, I've solved my problem!

Desktop software has not been installed on the part of the administrator of my computer, but a part of the user!

So, I deleted the software and re-installed on the appropriate party, and now my computer recognize it!

Thank you

  • There is more than one active network connection on your computer

I have two ISP with 2 different IP addresses of course. With one I connect via cable, the other is wireless. Until a couple of days, I'd keep the Wi - Fi turned off on the front of the case, to allow the laptop to connect only to the cable connection.
Some sites were not loading, indicating problems with DNS resolution. I checked for possible reasons online. I tried to connect to these sites using a webproxy and it worked, so I thought I would try the wireless connection. I turned on and sites would be load normally. However, when I checked my ISP number this shows that the active connection cable one.
I hesitated to leave the switch turned on, but in order to leave these sites load, I thought I had no other choice. Needless to say that I am not notified at all or with the networks or computers.
Everything seemed to work fine until the wireless connection has started having problems anyway, it stopped working (ISP issues), so stopped at new loading sites. I tried troubleshooting it and he said: "it has more than one active network connection on your computer" and suggested I would disconnect them. Naturally, I unplugged the wireless connection. Problems: I can not load the sites that seem to need to have wireless to turn on. Note that it does not need it to be active, only to have this switch.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to correct this inability to connect to the servers of some sites without the need to have that switch on. If there is no explanation for this behavior, which does not make sense. Again, I know nothing about networks or computers, forgive my ignorance!
I use Windows 7 Home Premium x 64, my laptop is a Vaio. This happens on all my browsers and sites that have stopped loading were load normally when I 1st turned on the laptop the same day. To later that day there some sites stopped to load, which made me think it was a matter of site. Then I realized that it was not connect to twitter, which was not down, so I realized it was my problem.

It looks at when you use the wired connection THAT DNS has failed.

In order to clarify the names of web sites means absolutely nothing to a computer in itself, www.google.com is completely useless. All comms on a network revolves around the IP addresses and the DNS service is a process by which the dedicated servers which addresses are known can tell your PC what is the address of a Web site. For some reason any on the wired connection your PC isn't getting the address to soundcloud.com.

In family situations more of a PC it gets the IP of the router settings, of course I don't know if this is true in your case. If you open a command prompt and run ipconfig/all, paste the result here and we can check. This would include which server DNS to use that, as I said is normally the router. There are actually millions of internet addresses, and your router could not store them to remedy this it forwards a request for an address of DNS servers listed in its own configuration of IP internet side.

If you can connect to the router and look its DSL or WAN configuration, you should find at least one or two DNS servers. Take note of them. If you can't connect to the router then look at the website from your ISP for their parameters.

On your computer, go to the network control and Internet\Network connections, right-click on your wired card, and select Properties. Double-click Internet version 4 Protocol. In normal use get it 2... buttons should be selected, are they?

If you change only the down one to use the following DNS server address and enter the fields, addresses that you got the router. Click OK twice, but leave the window network connections open as you need.

Now, try to get your site into a problem. If you can then the problem is with your router. Instead of asking the router address you have bypassed this stage and went on the server, your router is configured to use.

If you are still unable to the site then the problem is further down and your router may be OK. Then go back to where you set the addresses DNS and replace those that you got the router and turnkey 8.8.8.8 primary DNS server address and 8.8.4.4 in another address, OK once again two times and then try again the site. These 2 addresses are own Google public DNS servers and should work.

If the ISP provided the router they should replace it. Explain what is the problem and the results of these tests, although I have no doubt that they insist on their own checks before accepting.

  • How to set up a wireless connection between my computer windows 7 and my printer?

Laptop running windows 7 and HP wireless printer.

What printer wireless HP do you have?

Is the printer connected to your wireless network and online?

If so I just used the software provided from HP who asked me if I wanted to connect to a USB port or wireless router. I choose the option Wireless for my HP J4680 AiO device and the software installed the driver appropriate printer and other associated software, IE. Center solutions HP, etc and I could use my wireless printer.

    http://welcome.HP.com/country/us/en/welcome-copy.html#support

If your printer is not connected to your network, you may need to set up a temporary ad hoc wireless between the printer and a PC. Once you do this, you can enter the printer wireless configuration pages and configure the SSID of the network, wireless, encryption type, encryption key, etc.. Also, FWIW, I have set my HP machine with a static IP address to make it easier for me to access any pages of any PC on my network config.

  • Cannot restore the connection between the computer wireless laptop and printer

I have a Photosmart 6510 and a HP laptop computer connected wireless.  They worked together wonderfully since a few months ago, I installed the printer.  The wifi was briefly in standby.  When I sleep and tried to print I get an error message that the printer is not found.  The printer indicates that the wifi is on (blue light is on and the internet window shows that it is connected ad gives all network information, including the IP address.  I tried all my usual electronic bugs: turn the printer off and back on, unplug the printer and let it rest, reboot the laptop, etc.   I am running Windows 7.  With my old HP printer, I get an error message when the printer is offline, that would allow me to go to a "fix" and click to get back online.  I couldn't find this option now.

Nothing works (the mobile web access so I know it is related also).

Are there other things I can try before I have to go through the hassle of reinstalling the printer?  I hope there is an easier difficulty.

And, if I have to reinstall it, I have to write it?

    Thank you.

I fixed it.  I unplugged the router and the modem, plugged them back in and click on the reset button on the router and the laptop and printer now talk to each other once more.

There is a problem with this laptop.  Before even I had a wireless printer, I have everything reset completely to the laptop if there is a power failure (but not to the modem in stanby mode).

My second question is always true since I have to reinstall Windows 7.  Once that I have reinstall the printer do I need to re-register it?

    Thank you.

    Yay for me!

  • I can't get a wireless connection between my computer and my Deskjet 3055 A. The operating system is Windows 8

If anyone can help with the above problem, I would be very grateful. I was able to install the proper drivers etc for the printer from the internet, but have no idea how configure the feature wireless for Windows 8. He keeps talking about not entered the key name and the correct network security, but where should we register them and how? I tried using the installation CD, but it kept asking me to connect the computer to the printer via the USB cab so that he could get the necessary information. I did it, but he never had a more so I couldn't continue. I guess I should have seen a screen somewhere, where I entered the network name and security key, but no such thing happened. If anyone knows what to do, I would be very grarteful. Thank you!

  • BlackBerry smartphone 8330 disconnect in the middle of the synchronization of the Manager Office, but still connected to the computer

I am a new user.  I love my Blackberry 8330.

However, yesterday I came across a problem where the 8330 disconnects constantly in the middle of operations with the Desktop Manager.  He does not often occur in one place.  I got several error types: connector specific error 0X80040fb3, cannot synchronize, etc.  Spontaneous disconnects are not confined to the calendar, tasks, or address book - it happened during all these and sometimes before it had even begun to synchronize.  I pulled the battery once.  It synced well after that just to have the same problems the next day.

This happens in the middle of other operations using the Desktop Manager as well.  As the backup files.  It will shut off in the middle of one of the backup files, or will only stay connected long enough to a backup file.

In all this, the computer recognizes the blackberry as connected and the blackberry continues to display the "connect to the computer.

The Start Menu and taskbar will often hang or disappear after that the Desktop Manager ceases to recognize the Blackberry and then the Blackberry is always connected.  Once the Blackberry is disconnected, the start menu and taskbar is released from the hanging or reappears.

    Windows XP

    Office 2007

Facebook, IheartRadio, Pandora, Slacker, Google Maps and a few other applications installed, Google search, My Verizon

Also meet a few spontaneous reboots, but I think it has more to do with apps than anything else.  Some JVM 102 errors on restart.

Feel free to ask me questions.  The Blackberry but frustrated love.  Have tried other things to search through the forum, but none solved the problem.

    JVM 102

It's your first question, it solve first, probably will solve everything

I hope that you have at least 1 good backup to restore after

my phone connect to my computer more. Help, please. I tried to reinstall the desktop software and it did nothing. I checked all the settings in my phone and nothing. battery pull and nothing. the last time that I am connected, it's make a backup when I upgraded my os phones. I use a blowtorch on the telus network. application Platform 6.4.0.210 version 6.0.0.448 (1907)

I've had a few cases where the torch would not connect to the computer. I did a restart of the computer, and it was going well after. It is important that the desktop software manager is updated.

After the re-definition of the computer, try a different USB port if there is still no communication. Also, try a different cable USB Blackberry. I had once a Blackberry USB cable go bad on me causing a lack of response.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Priv - connection to the computer as a drive with cable...

You can connect the Priv a PC with the cable to access as a drive, especially for access to the SD card?   I had assumed would be immediate, easy, but the laptop does just not see it connected...?

    Some good news.

Finally, I can get it to connect, but better as "Mount SD card", do not use Android file transfer.

Certainly, there are only going to transfer different files Android app link provided in the MTP option in the phone under settings, buffer, top right options - USB connection to the computer, I had to kind of work, but I think it's a one-way arrangement therefore does not allow fiddling with files or data on the SD card.

With the option of mounting SD, its worth knowing that the phone is not yet recognized, you need to pass options while its connected, so when switching back to Mount SD, it appears suddenly!

I managed to move some files autour, and if I drop in the DCIM folder, Camera leader, they then appear within the app Photos, without the need to got to the unit records.

Is worth knowing when you're connected, more, but not all of them simply disappear with the handset, but all are in their proper place, moved or otherwise, 30 seconds or more after the disconnection.

Question NEXT, related to this, but could start anew thread; In my photos, I always kept a photograph or a scan of my passport, driving licence and stuff, amazing how much it is useful.  Priv does not read this map file, even if its same region in Photos.  The Passport can be pdf, is it possible to move files between the laptop and Priv autour so that it can read the docs and other things or is it possible to create a file on the SD card where the docs can be submitted and read by the priv...?  Indeed, where are the docs on Priv?  Ive schedules of my son on the map, but they do not seem to appear anywhere in the private and they are the .docx files.

    Thank you.
