  The first time at the forum hope it will be useful.

  I got a Blackberry by a friend (who was already on an Orange Mobile contract) and I swapped my Orange SIM in the Blackberry. Note: I don't have existing e-mail accounts set up on my previous phone.

  The phone works very well (calls, WiFi + 3G navigation) but I have been unable to set up my email. When I try to do this by using the Setup Wizard (and click e-mail SETTINGS), I get the following error message:

  -     " ? Your camera has a problem connecting to the server. Try AGAIN or CANCEL.

  .. .so is probably a matter of settings. However, when I picked up the phone at the local Orange store, they were unable to help me.

  Any ideas?

  Your SIM card account includes THE BlackBerry data plan? You who will have to setup email and many others still the BlackBerry data functions.

• BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphones - unable to access the e-mail account configuration

  The problem: the email accounts through the icon of the installer cannot access.  Configuration - mail accounts.  I can highlight the e-mail accounts in the Setup menu, but can't open it.  I can open all other options in the Setup menu

  I had this 9700 for 2 years and my configuration of e-mail account and operational full-time.  My email has been hacked and I fixed that on my desktop CPU but my 9700 will still not receive or send emails.  I did the following:

  1. Reset the battery removal
  2. Deleted service books

  Everything I could find on correcting my email on the 9700 account is that I have to reset my email from my 9700 account information.  Unfortunately, I can not access account configuration menu email form.  Help please.

  You can try to restore the missing option by the reinstatement of your device. Go to Options | Advanced options | The host routing table.   I used 4.7 OK and it was replicating my contacts and tasks to Outlook 2003.  All of a sudden, it stopped working and just says: connection to the desktop... I tried all cables usual USB re - install software change, different USB ports and scanned the forum.  Pine OK connect options watch my blackberry USB code options.  Bluetooth option is ghost, but I do not use this option... do not know if there is a link.  I have a Toshiba A300 with Bluetooth.  This worked OK until last Friday and I spent most of the weekend trying all the tips Forum.  I run Windows XP if that helps... Sign in using the username and password (if the password used during initial installation).  Go to email accounts under services and click the button change under the email ID you want to change.   When I try and sync Outlook it gives me the following message... "unable to connect to the device. Please make sure that the device is connected. I can display media files etc in the Office Manager, but fail to synchronize? any ideas?

  The e-mail configuration is stored in the ENCORE, not the BB itself (the BB has an interface for BIS, but BIS is the carrier). Thus, wiping the BB does nothing on the configuration. You have to go to

  • Settings > email settings

  PC/browser on your BIS site or carriers:

  and remove the configuration for the e-mail account.
