  I'm all new to Blackberry and have had the beautiful curve for 3 days (it is always brilliant)!

  I managed to synchronize with the desktop computer, to connect to my car for handfree Bluetooth, but I can't connect to my router wireless BT Home Hub for some reason any.

  I followed the instructions and the phone displays the connection and says it is connected but does not work.  If I go on manage connections, it shows the connection (I called him 'home') with a nice green icon showing the phone can see wifi but there is a black box in front of it with a dash of white.

  Anyone got any ideas?

  I'm not via enterprise server yet (need to upgrade to Lotus notes apparently).  I phoned also support technique of Vodafone that says I need a subscription to use wifi which, when I questioned our vodafone business account manager he said was silly.  But still no wifi.

  New on the bbery, new to the forum, but I read a little and appreciate what the community is doing. I figured out how to sync my BlackBerry gmail account, but I'm frustrated that I get messages and email in mail.  I have an icon for my gmail account - e:mails appear well - and another icon for messages, I thought would be SMS and voicemail notifications, but the e:mails are appearing there as well.  It is not only redundant, it's boring.  Is it possible to keep the e: mails limited to e-mail icon and ask them to not appear in the messages icon?

I wish I could just keep my old, this new one has some annoying things going on. First question, what are black squares that appear next to the time and date when I send a text message? They were not there on my old phone and its annoying villains. Also, this could be just an annoying question, but when I'm in the message folder I see no more my background and it is the sky of one predefined according to me. I know it's just an aesthetic thing, but it's quite annoying haha since I'm used to my old phone. Is there a way to change this? Thank you!

  I see the same thing on a 8310 model I have here. It's just part of this operating system. If you have not before, it is probably because your old unit had a different OS, or more about it.

  Yes its possible to reset without entering the Menu Options on your phone:

  1. you must have BlackBerry Desktop Manager on your PC.

  2. connect the phone with open Desktop Manager.

  3. go to the Applications tab

  4 locate the rogue app/theme, kill it and your phone should come back with the default theme.

  5. If you can not find via Desktop Manager then try to do a full backup.

  6 restore the phone to factory settings, restore data selectively.
