BlackBerry Smartphones vocal composition for names

I'm looking for the method to attach a voice name to a phone number in my address book.  I have a Pearl 8130 and it recognizes number of votes ("call 800-123-4567"). But I have not yet found a way to fix a VoicePrint to a number in my phone book (number "Call Robert" and Robert is composed). I have a Samsung T100 since 2002 and he came to have a menu point "do you want to add a voice tag to the number.

I'm looking for the method to attach a voice tag to a number in my Pearl 8130 from 2008.  Then, when my 8130 says "say a command...". "I can say"Call Robert"and the cell will dial the number from my address book.

I found the solution. It is with the pronunciation of the name; because I have the French, Greek, British, and Canadian names in my list.  Speech recognition has been quite confused. I edited my address book with a few nicknames and it worked.

If anyone has this p [problem, I suggest that you try a nickname. Something that is easy for speech recognition developed in Waterloo Ontario to understand.

I much preferred the system my another cell was (Samsung SPH T-100 around 2002), when I entered a name in the address book, he would ask if I wanted to add a voice tag.  Then, in my own voice, with my own pronunciation, I would say that the name.  The CELL store my pronunciation of the name as a tag. If the guys at Waterloo are reading this, if you use this idea, I want a free Balckberry.

What can be the problem and how to solve?

The software can be downloaded in a single package and installed from the laptop?

    Hello

I recommend the software downloaded directly from your carrier's Web site and install it directly on your computer. http://bbry.lv/cp57Eb

Be sure to save before continuing: http://bbry.lv/945DGc

Then I advise to use the application loader to reload the software on your BlackBerry smartphone. It is located in C:\Program Files\Common Research In Motion\Apploader.

Make sure that the BlackBerry smartphone is connected directly to the computer, if a laptop computer and plugged in the back if a desktop computer.

  • RIM blackBerry smartphones ever reqiured for include data carriers intend to their subscibers who buy a Blackberry?

I realize that it is an old topic. But I always thought that RIM requires a data plan for all Blackberry devices sold by all carriers. I am aware of AT & T and SIM cards. Someone registered this RIM phone number? (877-255-2377) ever called, but someone else please clarify. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I don't mind paying for the data plan because I use it. He also likes. Another expert said that all carriers have an agreement with RIM to include a data plan with subscribers, so all carriers have policies that they cannot sell Blackberry without a data plan. GSM networks used to give this option, but is more to do. Regarding the purchase of a Blackberry on ebay, Amazon, can but the trick is with the SIM cards, put a car phone AT & T or T-Mobile, without data SIM in a Blackberry, it will work for the voice, but no data.

  • Name of the Contact to blackBerry Smartphones torch does for incoming calls

I discovered this problem yesterday when my mom called with its Bold 9700. It always shows 'unknown number '. My mommy phone has the same problem too. How would I solve this one? Hope you can help me. Thank you. :-)

    Camus assi,

It could be one of the four solutions... Try these, (the path to the settings may vary on your torch):

    1. make sure that you set your own code to the Dialer phone screen > Options > smart dialing.
Set your country Code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no
    * If you don't see it here, your device operating system handles this differently. Look at the Options > Security > encryption.

    4. go to Options on your device > Security Options > encryption > include contacts the value 'No '.

  • BlackBerry smartphone os 7 for my bb8520

I know it's a little old but my friends receive the same blackberry than me and she did but I can't seem to be able to download os 7. Is this a theme or what? I confused it.
I've only had this blackberry recently so I don't know much...
    Thank you xox

    Hello

A theme and an operating system are completely different things.

For the operating system, the easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

I signed yesterday to my Yahoo mail on my Blackberry and it prompted my user name and password using the browser application.  Later, I tried to connect again and Yahoo is no longer prompted for a user name or password for access - I got right in the Webmail.  Is there a way to reset this so I'm invited for a username and password everytime I try and access Yahoo mail on my Blackberry?

    Hello

Outlook 2003 and desktop manager v.6 will be perfect!

Yes, install the main e-mail on the Blackberry address to match Outlook.

On the Blackberry, you get a calendar for each e-mail address that you use.

Alone can be synchronized with the Outlook calendar.

You can e-mail Outlook, tools, options and verify that the default account.

Then on Blackberry from the home screen, options, advanced options

default services. Use main email options calendar CICAL and CMIME is enamel.

Placing them as value by default synchronize you then e-mail to e-mail address schedules.

    Make sense?

  • Japanese BlackBerry Smartphones supported language for "BOLD" on the British network "three"?

Hi, I've been agonizing over this any day tripe and I decided that it is time to get help. I'm new to Blackberry for three days, so go easy on me!

I looked at various threads on various forums and the most common advice people get to get the support of the Japanese language are to install the packs of far East Telstra language on their own fund managers and delete the vendor.xml file.

I have the latest version of the software from the site Web de Blackberry desktop. I tried to install two different versions, language packs of Telstra, after which no East Asian languages was not on the list to install on my Blackberry. It's as if I went through the installation process, but nothing happened. I tried both install language packs with the godawful Windows installation wizard (* coughI'maMacusercough *-I reluctantly used PC to someone else), and open them with the "search function" in the App Loader, but neither worked.

It would be useful that I could at least just install a Japanese font so that I could read things. OTL

What I am doing wrong? Help!

The version of my desktop software platform is superior to that one in the download of the software, and I use the latest version of Desktop Manager (4.7) while the said language pack version 4.6 - does that mean I actually have to downgrade my Office Manager to make it work? o.O

No, the two are separated. On the device go to options, topic, look for the version in the format v.x.x.x.xxx.

You're probably on a 4.6 device OS version already.

The software is to facilitate the exchange of data between the device and the desktop only.

The device OS is just that it only works on the device.

  • BlackBerry smartphones is supported for the East Asian languages for the Blackberry Bold 9780 on O2?

Hello, I hope someone can help me with my problem. I'm new to the whole Blackberry I just bought my first BB camera a few days ago so please understand if I don't know what words are in the world of Blackberry. The questions will be in bold.

So, I recently bought a Blackberry Bold 9780 and I am very satisfied with the overall product. However I was wondering if there was support for the East Asian languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc) for my 9780 BB which is on O2 UK.

Right now, in my languages options, I can only entry for most European languages (English, Spanish, French, etc.) There are no options for languages of East Asia at all. When I try to display all messages or go on the browser which are languages of East Asia, I don't see one set of black boxes.

I know there are software updates to update your device to take charge of specific languages, so I checked the software downloads page that interests me.

O2 - UK users, they have two packages:

-BlackBerry Handheld Software v6.0.0.905 (all languages)

    Package Version: 6.0.0.905
    Composed of:

    • Applications: 6.0.0.294
    • Software platform: 6.5.0.54
    • File name: 9780AllLang_PBr6.0.0_rel905_PL6.5.0.54_A6.0.0.294_O2_UK.exe
    • File size: 180,72 MB

    -BlackBerry Handheld Software v6.0.0.0905 (Multilingual)

    Package Version: 6.0.0.905
    Composed of:

    • Applications: 6.0.0.294
    • Software platform: 6.5.0.54
    • File name: 9780jAllLang_PBr6.0.0_rel905_PL6.5.0.54_A6.0.0.294_O2_UK.exe
    • File size: 185,61 MB

Then How do I know which package I currently installed on my device because the application number and the number of software are identical.

On my device it details shows: v6.0.0.294, (905 Bundle, platform 6.5.0.54)

So I wonder if none of the above two packages have the option to enable East Asian language support.

I'm sure I have the latest update for my camera that I can't update more far depending on the desktop software and my phone. So If I move to another package, how do I go to do?

I mainly use a MAC, but I can also have access to a PC too. I don't know if it's important, but I think that there is a difference between the Desktop software on each computer that is used to update your software.

If possible, it is that I would be able to download another package that has the support of another service provider East Asia and update on my own? Or is it too risky because it may crash my machine?

And my last question, so it is likely that O2 can do in the near future if there is no option for the language support East Asia now,?

Sorry if I rambled on a bit too much or too many questions. I just want to know if its possible to enable language support is now, otherwise I will waste countless hours looking for a method. I looked to see if there were similar questions, asked the Board of Directors, but none was really specific to my needs.

A big thank you to everyone who sits reading through this. I appreciate the responses.

    Thank you.

Do not know if you understand how to do this, but I did these steps and it worked fine:

    1. https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=7D2A383E54274888B4B73B97E1AAA491&dl=... go here and download the version of v6.0.0.0905 (Multilingual) BlackBerry Handheld Software.

2 install the downloaded OS on your computer, you need the files of this new OS more later to add multi language support for your BlackBerry device.
    C:\Program Files\Common search in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9780AllLang_v6.0.0.294_P6.5.0.54
The CJK.alx is the file that you will use later.

    3. use Desktop Manager to save your BlackBerry (better safe than sorry)

    4. before installation, go to your AppLoader folder, for example C:\Program Files Research In Motion\AppLoader and move the Vendor.xml to a backup directory, if you have kept a copy of the file. The loader.exe allows to load up the AppLoader, follow the instructions in the wizard.

He automatically gave me a list of applications and languages, if you scroll down see you East Asian languages check those you want that I checked Japanese and Thai language and font support. If you do not see these click on 'Add' at the top and navigate to the CJK.alx file.

So let the application loader it's thing, after that everything should work.

Hope this works for you also. I take no responsibility of bricking your phone.

BlackBerry should be an option to install more languages via the phone.
