  • BlackBerry Smartphones Windows Vista 64bits / Blackberry Storm / HP Laptop / Bluetooth connection

Hi all!  My question is about the connection of my Blackberry Storm to my HP laptop via Bluetooth connection.  I get through the matching part and then he can not seem to locate the correct driver.  Someone else connect their storm to a computer via Bluetooth?

A quick note, you can choose in fact just close the window of the driver and tell him not to ask again.  That's how I found myself doing that again in the end.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Windows Live Messenger to stopped working

Hello! I know this isn't really new, but I'm posting this just in case I do something wrong, or if my case can point to the root of the problem in a more narrow sense.

Ive been using WLM since ive got my blackberry (more than 6 months) and I lost access for a week.

My use of WLM is mainly on a computer running Windows XP (using WLM) and on my blackberry (using WLM)

I lost the ability to receive messages while I was having intermittent connectivity inside a mall (except the app only has not disconnect) I send and had to receive a message during this period (someone I messaged via facebook chat and told me about this) and never received these messages.

I could always send files. simply not receive messages.

Among the solutions, I tried (even several times for certain solutions):

    1. battery pull
    2. Uninstall wlm, rebooted, reinstalled (using app world then also tried using OTA)
    3. used another account
    4. Service books - see the hrt-register now (for the 3 books of WLM service)
    5. reregisters again and deleted service books
    6. using im +, IMO, nimbuzz does not have the same problem

even the current update was not working.

anything short of reinstalling the entire operating system from scratch.

ideas please let me know (or at least the comforting thought that you have isolated which continues with those of us lose access to MSN)

    Hey all,.

I received a confirmation message of our engineering department saying that this problem is now sorted... To confirm, I tested it with my bb device & by sending a message to the PC... now, the question seems corrected...

Please let me know if your problems are rectified or not... Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You have to buy a package of data of the provider network. Access Wi - Fi only is not enough.

Note: The above assumes that the BlackBerry user has a qualification plan with the wireless service provider and has registered with the wireless network in order to obtain the required service books for services associated with use. you have an email and two passwords.

There are a couple (e-mail1 + password2) for your BlackBerry services.

for the second couple, you just call O2.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Windows 7 and Desktop Manager

Hi, I have a 8700 c runs the last device from AT & T (4.5.110) software.  I recently installed Windows 7 Build 7000, and I can't connect with my BB via USB.  Office Manager starts and begins to communicate via USB, then crashes.  If I disconnect and reconnect the USB, the program quickly continues, but I am unable to sync or to downgrade the software for the device.

I'm not trying to use the media, just the Desktop Manager Manager.  I'vetried to reinstall Desktop Manager 4.7 and 4.6; also the software of the device.  I tried Troubleshooting compatibility for the Desktop Manager and the charger.

Nothing seems to help.  My computer is a Thinkpad T60.

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphone Windows Installer appears when I turn on computer

I have a blackberry pearl 8110 Rogers and Desktop Manager 5.0.1

Since then every time I turn on the computer, I downloaded the Desktop Manager, I get the windows box install that says "preparing to install - please wait when windows configures Roxio Media Manager.

Further messages coming up to say...

"Gathering of the information... the component you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable... "

"Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package"Roxio Media Manager.msi"

The path to the display on the screen is c:\documents and settings\Jeffrey \Application Data\Research Brown (my name) in Motion\BlackBerry\Updates\6852A378-7780-4e08-B655-343C8D2C36AE\SR_MM\

I can't get out of these messages until I try to cancel the installation.  When I cancel, I get an error code 1706.

When I try to uninstall the Fund Manager and reinstall, it won't let me because the system says that there is already an installation is going on, which is the one above.   Nothing happens here...

Could you describe the steps I must take to solve it?   As mentioned, I just can't unstall because the system thinks already there is a current installation.  error code 1500

This problem takes a lot of resources on my computer because I can not also download the latest versions of adobe flash and PDF reader.

    Hello!

I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, Vista, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

    (1) properly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

KB02206 how to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software

    (2) get a new RIM DTM software download: (I suggest to install the version WITHOUT DTM and turn on mass storage mode transfer files between your pc and the BB)

Download the software for the support of Blackberry

    * Choose the version which is more recent and (if any) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):

KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

    (3) install DTM on your PC

    (4) start the configuration Organizer:

KB17022 how to configure applications to Organizer for synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager

Let us know how it goes!

    Hello!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Windows Messenger - 'Connected mobile device' Hide status

    Hello

I searched high and low on various forums of BB and via Google, but I don't seem to find the answer to this question.

Is it possible to hide the fact that you are logged on your Windows Live account using a mobile device? Now when I log in using my BB the person across the conversation gets a notice saying that the person that you are messaging is on a mobile device and can be charged for messages...

I'm sorry if this is common knowledge, but I need to find a solution to this problem.

Thanks a ton for all the help that you guys have given me in the past...
