  Thus, the reboot took 2 hours? Or it restart but the home screen is frozen? These are two totally different situations.

  However, with the power on, please remove the battery again. Leave it for at least 10 minutes. Then put back in and wait through the restart - at least 20 total minutes (maybe a little more... "I wait 15 minutes after the reboot is complete before judging whether it is frozen or not).

  If this fails, I recommend to start safe mode and delete what you have installed just before it started:

  I seem to have two icons of the Application on my phone, an Application with a circle icon and an icon of the application with a file in the icon.  When I click on the icon of the Application with a file I see Google Maps and maps with a compass on the icon which is BB maps.  I think that like much more than Google maps, which is nice, but so slooooow.  I hope this helps.  I'm really a little frustrated to learn of this new storm - I don't think that it's like inyuitive I thought it would be or I bet the iphone's.  Took me forever to learn typing to contacts without spell checker tries to fix the name so I was serching and still do not get the keyboard to type course.

  I did the obvious battery pull, wait a few minutes, and then allow the system to reboot.  But when I have an email with a lot of information, I can't scroll down without knocking «More»  When I choose 'More' in the mail menu, I get the message in the subject line.

  I recently acquired a BlackBerry Priv and jumped in an EA UK SIMcard in there.

  Everything seems fine now, but I don't seem to be able to tell when I'm in a 4 G Plus (2600 mHz Cat 6) coverage area

  Other manufacturers, such as Samsung Galaxy Note 4 handsets usually post this with a 4 + icon.

  Is there something I don't?

  No I don't think there is an icon to represent it - the only way to tell if you are on the network, 4g or 4 g + is to run a speedtest I guess?

• BlackBerry Smartphones zooms is more inside or outside.

  I have an at & t 8320 curve.  I was always able to zoom in/out with my camera by scrolling through the trackball, but all of a sudden, I'm more able to do it.  There is no problem with my scrollball, because it works with other applications.  any ideas?  I changed a setting somewhere oversight along the way?  Thank you.

  try to remove the battery while the phone is turned on, then replace it after 20-30 seconds.  see if it works.

  Before withdrawing your OS, I would try the following steps:

  (1) registry of the THS:

  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

  (2) refer the Service directories (my apologies if this is redundant):

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  If it still does not work, then I suggest deletion and recreation BIS conduit for this e-mail account.

  Curve 8330.

  some time yesterday, I stopped receiving vibe & audio notifications for everything. calls, Y! M, text. everything. I tried all the profiles. I changed my profile in the Advanced menu options, too. Not the speaker, because the music is not yet clear.

  Notification LED still works. A I mess something up? Or is there something I'm missing here?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  If the application was not the AppWorld, then you must seek assistance from the place, you bought the app. But, if the application was purchased through AppWorld, then I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

  4 AppWorld must close.

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

  If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

  The purchased app should now display as uninstalled, and you should be able to install it from there.

Everything seems to work in the direction of the BB to Gmail, such as messages deleted on BB are deleted on the Gmail server and status message reading. But it does not work the other way.   In some cases, it was discovered that updates (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

  1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > > remove
  2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if she shows at all, in any State) > > remove
  3. Use your PC (via the mass storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > > Explore) and find all references (folders, files) to the app delete everything you find. Search the memory of your device and your press card as well.
  4. Use the link to user guide AppWorld above for re - install the app - then predict a new activation/registration key
