  Thus, the reboot took 2 hours? Or it restart but the home screen is frozen? These are two totally different situations.

  However, with the power on, please remove the battery again. Leave it for at least 10 minutes. Then put back in and wait through the restart - at least 20 total minutes (maybe a little more... "I wait 15 minutes after the reboot is complete before judging whether it is frozen or not).

  If this fails, I recommend to start safe mode and delete what you have installed just before it started:

  i, ve got my blackberry curve 8520 for 6 months so under warranty.took on my bag to make a call & the screen was white, taken in 02 & they sent for repair, reception phone call today to say the LCD inside cracked & want to charge me £99 to fix & I m not happy that its not been left falling or anything.does anyone know if I m entitled to a replacement or free repair as its still under warranty.   Well, it is, unfortunately, your discretion of suppliers. If they have evidence that there is physical damage, then no, you don't have right to a replacement under warranty. It is less than your carriers policy is different from any other electronic device that I know.

  I can't zoom in when using trackpad, and Volume up/down, Buttom 3 and 9 can also.  I am able to ZOOM when I bought it first, but then, after that, I can zoom 1 x 2 x more after 1 month of use.  Can someone advise how I can configure return the ZOOm feature.  I tried all the OPTIONs field and still can not.  Thank you

  IF you have problems with several buttons/trackpad, then, this looks like what I've seen several times on a device with moisture damage.

  Even sitting on a countertop bath during a hot steamy shower or bath can cause problems with keyboard and trackball up to this JUST-withered.

  Really, it is more common than you think.

  1 the battery immediately! Do not turn on your BlackBerry device.

  2. allow the device to dry in a warm, dry place for 3 to 5 days * (see below)

  3. DO NOT "check it every day" by placing the battery in. Leave what would to dry completely. It takes time. Replacing the battery to check it can damage only (humidity + power = disaster).

  3. If the unit is hot after the drying period, let it cool to room temperature before placing the battery in the.

  * Suggestions on your BlackBerry in a warm dry place (open, with battery):

  I seem to have two icons of the Application on my phone, an Application with a circle icon and an icon of the application with a file in the icon.  When I click on the icon of the Application with a file I see Google Maps and maps with a compass on the icon which is BB maps.  I think that like much more than Google maps, which is nice, but so slooooow.  I hope this helps.  I'm really a little frustrated to learn of this new storm - I don't think that it's like inyuitive I thought it would be or I bet the iphone's.  Took me forever to learn typing to contacts without spell checker tries to fix the name so I was serching and still do not get the keyboard to type course.

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  The 8900 has 3G. It should not be a difference streaming video in or outside.

  Try a reboot and try again the streaming video... With the BlackBerry device under voltage, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  I recently acquired a BlackBerry Priv and jumped in an EA UK SIMcard in there.

  Everything seems fine now, but I don't seem to be able to tell when I'm in a 4 G Plus (2600 mHz Cat 6) coverage area

  Other manufacturers, such as Samsung Galaxy Note 4 handsets usually post this with a 4 + icon.

  Is there something I don't?

  No I don't think there is an icon to represent it - the only way to tell if you are on the network, 4g or 4 g + is to run a speedtest I guess?

• BlackBerry Smartphones zoom in mode camera

  I can't zoom in/out with the trackball when I'm in camera mode.  He was working the other day.  The trackball still works in other applications, but not in camera Mode.  I even tried to use the volume keys down, but it still does not work.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

  Reset the device, take out the battery for 30 seconds and reinstall it again.

  Before withdrawing your OS, I would try the following steps:

  (1) registry of the THS:

  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

  (2) refer the Service directories (my apologies if this is redundant):

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  If it still does not work, then I suggest deletion and recreation BIS conduit for this e-mail account.

  You can't zoom in and out of an email or a text Message, but you can set a size larger font for your device, Options > keyboard/screen.

  I had more YouMail Visual Voice Mail for some time and until I upgraded to OS 5.0.0.607 (Verizon), it worked without problem.

  As I recovered my aplications following the upgrade of the OS, I had no problem until it was YouMail VVM more.
