BlackBerry Software BBLink Connection-

I have a BB ECC6. For about a week I have not been able to sync my calendar and contacts with my computer. On my BB it says that I'm connected when I plug in the USB cord. On the link BB on my computer, the tab on the left says I'm connected too, but I can't navigate beyond this screen. I don't see that selections of "Reconnection" or "Reload" and when I choose "Reconnect" loop me just return to this page.

It has managed to differenitate things. When I synced only calendar, it worked. When I synchronize only Contacts, it did not work. Synchronization of calendar, it was really what I needed to synchronize the most. I'll continue to back up my Contacts, as I have been.

    So I solved the problem, I click right on the icon for BBLink and wrong compatibility. It was pretty simple and it works when the system recognizes that it worked with windows 7. I was able to save my z30. However, I believe that Windows will check this out and creat a fix for it correctly. I have not contacted MS that I find that I am lost in the web with requests for help.

    Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    On your PC (you cannot do this on MAC):

    1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (3) download and install to your PC, the BB OS package you want:

    (4) If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    (5) run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC. If, during the process, your BB votre BB a '507' error, simply unplug the power cord of the BB USB and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    Do not forget to save.

    If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • BlackBerry software not able to download Blackberry link

    Hello

    Last week I bought my Q10 (from Orange/Romania) and downloaded Blackberry Link (for Mac OS)

    I installed and used with my phone just fine.

    Yesterday, I had some problems with my phone and reinstall the OS. After that, she refused to connect to Link of BB somehow.

    After several attempts to get it working, I uninstalled Blackberry link and remove the software in order to download again.

    But surprise, when I press the button to download the BB link again, I received the following message (that I had last week when I downloaded the BB link for the first time):

    We're sorry...

    This software download is not yet available in your country for regulatory reasons. Please check for future availability.

    Please let me know what I did wrong. It is odd that the link is not available in a country where BB phones are available from the mobile operators.

    There was an investigation into intermittent problems with the software download link from BlackBerry.com BlackBerry which took place yesterday.

    This problem has been reported as being solved by our internal teams and should now be available for download again. If you still receive the error message that it is not available in your country, please try to reload BlackBerry.com in your browser by pressing Command + Shift + R on Mac, or CTRL + F5 on Windows. You can also try clear all the cache of your browser, and then restart the application.

  • BlackBerry Software Desktop software components must be installed?

    Hey guys,.

    I'm going up to his presentation of the latest BlackBerry software link, which is now called BlackBerry Desktop Software. After you download the .exe file and run the regular configuration, it contains several components such as link, mix and device drivers.

    I am talking about the software for one e.g. Z10, Q10, jump etc (BB10 OS devices)

    Because we use and to use the mixture, I want to extract this component and only the deployment of others.

    Now, I am faced with different .msi files and I am trying to figgure on which of them are really necessary.

    There are:

    -BlackBerryDeviceManager.msi

    -BlackBerryCommunicationManager.msi

    Of course I could install the connection, connect a BlackBerry and see what happens (with one of these above probably nothing)

    Then install the Device Manager and check aso again... until it works

    BUT I want to know which of the above is required for what service.

    If someone out there who knows?

    Uh, I figgured out, both mentioned components are needed and a more:

    In conclusion, if you want to have a job entirely BlackBerry link, you must have the following components:

    -BlackBerryLink.msi

    -BlackBerryDeviceManager.msi

    -BlackBerryCommunicationManager.msi

    Each of them is the regular installation in the following directory:

    -Cache C:\ProgramData\Package

  • Link blackBerry problems blackberry software

    Earlier this week my blackberry software is no longer connected to my USB connected playbbok.  Today, it didn't connect to my Q10.  She is also not connected and all attempts will fail to connect.

    I reinstalled connected link Q10 and 1/2 hour later it is appeared and sunched, but also showed the error that it couldn't connect wirelessly.  Still does not see playbook, even if the playbook says that it is connected.

    If something has changed.  Old and new versions of link are the same - 1.1.1.32

    It worked OK before including wireless.

    Finally solved my problem by uninstalling with REVO uninstaller and then reinstall again. Previous registry entries have been properly cleaned this time around it seems!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Media Sync continues to display 'Please connect a Blackberry smart phone' when the Blackberry Storm is connected to the PC

    About a 2 months ago when I would like to connect my (the first storm) blackberry storm to my computer via the USB cable supplied with the phone, I was able to transfer music from my computer (itunes) to the blackberry via Blackberry Media Sync with no problems (open Blackberry Media Sync, connect blackberry to the computer via the USB port and screen Media Sync would change so that I could sync to the blackberry storm music). I didn't even have to install Blackberry Media Sync in December 2009

    But now after I connect my Blackberry Storm to my computer, the screen of Blackberry Media Sync does not change and continues to display "please connect a Blackberry smartphone. I tried these tips I found online:

    1.) several reboots my computer (windows vista)

    2.) update/reinstall Blackberry Media Sync, then by restarting my computer

    3.) reconnection from blackberry to the computer, then open Media Sync

    4.) Open Media Sync first and then connect the blackberry to the computer.

    5.) installation BlackBerry USB and Modem drivers (even if I can't find the USB driver for it under the Universal Serial Bus Controller when I check in the Device Manager when you go to control panel – system and Maintenance – Manager of devices, but I found a v2 COM4 and COM5 RIM virtual serial Port when you select "devices by connection" under display in Device Manager) or are RIM Serial Port virtual v2 COM4 and COM5 drivers I'm looking for?

    6.) go to Options (on blackberry) - memory and make sure Media Card Support, Media Transfer Protocol (MTO) and Mass Storage Mode Support are resolved on 'On', the encryption Mode is set to 'None' and mass storage Mode Auto activate when connected, it the value "Prompt" although I tried to 'Yes' as well. It says I have 785 MB of memory space of the unit out of 879 MB total memory of the device and 7.1 GB of free space on a total of 7.3 GB of Media Card Media Card.

    None of the above tips and troubleshooting tips worked. I also checked the Blackberry technical solution center but I've not found anything there that has contributed to the other. I found discussions forums online, including issues of people with 'blackberry media sync cannot connect to the device' pop up, but I have not had this pop-up. The Media Sync screen remains just the same as if I never connected the blackberry storm to my computer in the first place even if my blackberry storm recharges via the computer.

    Is there something that I miss or have not yet done? What should I do?

    Too bad. I went to a Verizon store and they me remove the battery and turn the blackberry. Worked like a charm and I can now use Media Sync.

    Also told me that I need to update the software of the phone blackberry using Blackberry Desktop software (I have version 4 and need to update to 5) and make sure to choose to back up files when you are prompted during the update or you will lose all files, the media and info saved on blackberry.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Internet connection problem

    I installed Desktop Manager on my PC (that I don't know how to use, only a MAC user) reinstall my software of the unit due to a null exception error, as I was told to do it before.  I can surf on the ' net, but when he tries to synchronize, it can not find a connection.  I can go to any website and it will work but nothing to do with the blackberry software. I can't also be upgrading to the last DM. How I would get a version of 4.2, as mine is 4.3 something. I read that you don't need a connection, but can I reinstall the software for the device with it.

    I downloaded 4.7 on my mac and then place it on a flashdrive and then put it on my PC. I had problems when it came to upgrading the operating system because he said that I was part of BES or professional.     Hi, I recently bought a blackberry "BOLD" 9700.Second hand, but hardly used, all the memory/tous les memoire / parametres settings etc. intact but NO software on cd or SD memory card.i bought a USB cable and download the Desktop Manager and the appropriate device software from the BB site. I have a 32 windows vista premium laptop. When I plug in my phone it says "CHECK BLACKBERRY DEVICE IS CONNECTED"... and it is. The Office Manager is all greyed out (disconnected) and I can't go to him because this message is there. Im not a computer wiz so don't understand the jargen.     Unfortunately, I don't have this option, I only have a laptop but thanks anyway. BlackBerry needs to make it more accessible to everyone, its ridiculous all them messing around and I've never had anywhere near this kind of problem with another software for any other phone I've ever used.     Software Cisco Connect think that my internet connection is lost, but it's not. It won't take me any further than that.  I would just use the administration of "Advanced" page but I am trying to enter to disable the guest network and for some reason, Cisco made that only configurable from the Cisco Connect software.

    If you install the router manually (without Cisco connect) so the guest network will be automatically disabled / is not created.

    Reset the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait 30 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure the router manually.

    Do not run the Cisco connect. Configure the router manually.

    I get this error when my VPN disconnects and my user interface cannot access the database. You can check on similar lines.

  • BlackBerry software? BBLink will not install and won't work?

    Using a PC with Win7, and have a new passport...

    I "thought" that get would allow me to sync my calendar from Outlook2010 Office with the Passport, but appears that I am wrong...

    Then found that this BBLink is the application - d/l-installed but then at the end he says «Sorry, you already have a new application on your PC...» "so he quit.

    Wanted - and years ago, I have called BBerry Desktop Sottware - version 7.1.0.41...

    When I start it up - he correctly identifies my passport, but when I try to connect - I get the error "device is not supported...". "because, it says that my camera, the Passport is running BB10.

    Then... How the hell can I synchronize my passport with my office, especially my Outlook calendar?

    Start again, uninstall all the BB software on your computer, if none will not uninstall use this: http://support2.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall
