(This time to voice mail) is not a feature of BlackBerry but is controlled by your mobile operator.

And not a feature request (I'll ask a moderator to move this post).

As a standard, most all carriers have a value default 15 seconds of ringtime until voicemail picks up. Which can be extended to 30 seconds.
If you do not need additional ring time before voicemail, the simplest method is to call your operator and ask a longer time of the ring, up to 30 seconds.

There is another method:

    Hey Toby,.

Thanks for using Apple Discussions! I understand that the iPhone is ringing but does not connect the call? Great way to try to get the problem solved as well on your own. If you have not tried to check the settings of do not disturb, the link below can help you with that.

Use of do not disturb on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If the problem persists after checking your settings do not disturb, you can contact your mobile provider to see if there is an update or a problem on their end.

Keep the computer plugged in whenever possible.

If you keep the computer always connected, make sure that at least twice a month

Run it on battery until battery charge level falls to about 40-50%.

Please don't completely discharge the battery. Discharge the battery completely will reduce wear and tear on the battery.

  • BlackBerry - Timer and BackgroundThread does not

In my BlackBerry Application, the timer is not having fired continuously when the network is disconnected and reconnected.

And also if the network is disconnected and reconnected, the method notify() background thread not call the run() method.

Anyone has an idea about this?

    Welcome to the forums.

I assume you are using a TimerTask, to launch a treatment that must be running from time to time.  Be aware that you must you use the TimerTask to initiate treatment.  So if you need to do things that take a () for a long time as a network connection - a long time here is a long time in terms of calculation), you should get your initialization TimerTask (early) a new Thread and run the long process on the new Thread is NOT in the TimerTask treatment.

Regarding your real issues, I regret that they are not clear for me.

You say "the timer is not get triggered continuous when the network is disconnected and reconnected.

Here, I suspect that you need to clarify the English you used.  This reads as if the timer should be triggered at all times when the network is dosconnected and connected.  But perhaps you say, the timer works correctly and fires continuously until the network is disconnected and connected.  Can please clarify you this.

You say "If the network is disconnected and reconnected, the method notify() background thread not call the run() method."

Why a notify method call a run method.  Methods of execution are not normally called directly but are mentioned by starting the associated Thread.  And what is special about your background thread notify()?  used is usually used to, well, to warn another Thread that something that he has to wait for is now available, so the waiting Thread is normally in a wait(), not a run().  So I'm sorry, once again, I can not help because I do not understand the question.

I searched for the blackberry storm 9530 touch long tone function without being the solution. In order to save money on long distance, I use the phone card to dial in long distance. But I can not send the phone number in my contacts as tones. The only way is to enter the phone number to hand.

This is a very useful feature that has all the basic cell phone. Does anyone know how I can send the phone number (which is already in my contacts) as "tones"?

TELUS Blackberry storm 9530 has said that speaking time for 1 full charge of the battery will be about 6 hours, but it is NOT MORE THAN 2 hours.

It depends on what runs on your device when calling: still does occur after a battery pull?

for example, live GPS is a battery eater. Use of Bluetooth while talking also battery consumes. And of course, the 6 h of communication along assumes you have a perfect network coverage. In order to have 2 hours, it's a little weak, but not surprising for a smartphone.

We have an esx 3.5 in the customer environment. Data store is already extended 3 times. Now, we need to expand the data store and extend the VM disk according to the requirement. Please notify. Thank you

There are 2 solution for it.

Option 1.  Create a new data store according to the requirement and Svmotion machine virtual to the new data store. If you have enough space available on the file SAN servers.

Option 2.  1 take time to stop machine virtual those residing on tis datastore.

    2. ask the SAN team presents a new LUN id on the esx host according to the requirement.

    3. analyze the HBA.

    4. power of the virtual machine.

    5. increase the data store and check the size of the measurement data store

    6. turn on the virtual machine.

However, it could be a very good way to reduce the time. A database of aid could be open during the hours of work, and then restored and production archivelog files applied subsequently. Or, since you're on 11 GR 2, you can use the snapshot database. It is well explained in the documentation:
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e17023/CLI.htm#DGBKR3432

    Any furthur sugestions.

You said nothing about how you are "refreshing" your database, or if the database is close to the source.

Lol you can use the +. Extend() + method to add (null) objects to the collection.

However, in the case of your example it's simpler allow PL/SQL to do all the work for you - which stretches from the collection and filling with the help of a big raise.

    For example
Select T_My_Row (col1, col2) bulk collect into table my_table where...

Of course, you should be aware of the size of the created collection. PGA memory is used - and as memory of the dedicated server (as opposed to shared server memory) it's expensive memory. And should not be wasted unnecessarily.

  • displaying the dialog box "your Session will time out, extend or close"?

    Hello!

We have a duty to post a warning to users only (1 minute) before the session is going to expire and ask the user if he wants to extend the session or close the session (in which case, we close the browser window). We were able to come up with a likely solution but would like to know what other people are doing / will be in similar scenarios.

    Here's what we came with:

    1. on each page load we set/update a cookie that is supposed to follow the session expires. And we have a javascript timer that counts down to the inactivity of the user. In the event of any PPR on the page, then we plan to add a hook to the PPR javascript calls, so that we can update the cookie expires not only on page load/refreash, but each call PPR performed on the server.

We have a concern that we are all only javascript function on the client side. Is our approach in the right direction? Is there a better way to achieve the same? Are there issues of security/traps involved in our design?

    2. I read in some articles/forum discussions we can poll the server on a regular interval to see the time remaining for the session expires, and as soon as we have the time to last minute, we can display a popup javascript to the user. But I doubt that wouldn't poll itself refresh the activity of users on the server and reset the normal session on each poll timeout? In this case would not always get the same information of time remaining for each survey? I misunderstood something here? some explain how to implement from session expiration time of the poll on the server?

    3. all new ideas are welcome!

    Thank you and best regards,

    Samba

    Hello

Well, if you use the af:poll command, then the session never expires because from a server point of view, the user frequently sends a request. So if you prefer this option, then you will need to expire the invalidate() programmatically by calling session on the session

javaScript is the only option that I can imagine that works without a vote.
