BlackBerry torch Smartphone e-mail configuration problems

I know how to set up email on my phone accounts. I did several times in the past. This time, the problem started with me not to receive emails from one of my accounts. I thought that there was a problem with the account, so I removed it. I tried since then to put up again without success.

But here's the kicker. I am in a position, on the same phone, configure other accounts such as gmail or anything.com. They work perfectly. But if I try to configure my .me or .us domain accounts, I can not. What type of problem can prevent some areas installation on Blackberry? It just give this message on the email address or the incorrect password and domain contact host.

Not the carrier allow the site to function with their network... Unfortunately, yours seems to him does not.     I just used torch several days and discovered that the battery is really poor. I recently use onyx, with the same activity, I noticed that the battery using the torch will be low to red in the evening/night, using onyx so battery is about half.

    Also, everyone suffers this problem? What I see, the torch battery has less than onyx mAH. Why do the they build a device with a larger screen but less battery?

    My Blackberry has stopped working and has been replaced by T-Mobile (warranty), I backed up the old one before taking it back and am now trying to get my email etc working again... I'm lost - I have connected the new device and synced it but now all I have in the Inbox are weeks messages and new messages does not - someone can help?     Here's something that won't spoil things: from your phone's browser, type www.blackberry.com/integrate . Once you've done that, make sure that you save your phone with the network.

    Dear all, I have my torch 9860 and facing a serious issue that all track pad and keys, including the menu key, the escape key, call key, lock screen and volume keys keys do not work. However, its touch screen works very well and you can write words by using the keyboard. You can also scroll by using the touch pad, but when you press keypad enter the command, it does not work. Kindly help on this issue.  I also reinstalled OS 7.1 but not sucecess.

    Please note that once push the ESC key to enter secure mode the handset run in safe mode. It measn if the leak is defective then why does device to the SafeMode pressing escape key.

    I recommend reloading your operating system.  To do this, connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  The first thing you need to do is a backup of the data.  When your phone has been recognized, click device at the top, and then click Backup.  Once the backup is complete, restore your phone by clicking on the device and then restore.  Choose the most recent retore point and load.  Because your 'back' button works for your phone Safe Mode, we know that this is not a hardware problem, in order to restore your phone should solve the problem.

    Give it a shot and keep us updated on your progress.

    I suggest you once remove the battery, then try again. Alternatively, go through the installation process. It rarely happens on 9860 like that, but you need not to worry. Just be patient and try to remove the battery.

    Even if the app is less sometimes, but these flaws are fixed BB in their updates. Please let us know abt your OS and the bundle.

    This isn't a matter of BlackBerry, there is a problem with your operator. Your carrier represents different monthly data packets, not RIM.

    You must address this issue with your carrier.

    New to the torch, had BB for many years.

    I don't like the home screen in place and curious to know if there is a way to change.

    I would have preferred if I always saw 'All' icons, then use hide them and folders to categorize accordingly.

    I don't want to have the downloads, Favorites, Media etc. menu on the home screen bars.  Possible?

    Hello and welcome to the forums!

    The only way to accomplish what you want to do with your home screen is to change the theme.  There are many places to get themes, including BlackBerry AppWorld.

    I installed a lot of themes on my device, but I always return to my favorite, which is a theme called Phoenix, by Ahaz Designs, you will find in AppWorld.  Simple and clean.  I like it because it helps show your homescreen background.  You have also four icons of the customizable home screen, which you can hide if you want.
