After I upgraded my Z10 software at 10.1.0.273 I now lost connectivity to my work email. After troubleshooting, I realized that I could just remove and re-add my account again.

The account deleted successfully, now I get the following message appears when you try to add:

  • BlackBerry Z10 space bar issues after upgrading the operating system

My space is faulty because I updated the OS to 10. ; 2.1.2977. I type and just strings together.  To operate press the button several times or even extra firm-press in order to work - driving me crazy!  What can I do?

You have restarted your device since the upgrade?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  • BlackBerry Z10 display on lock screen wallpaper

A week ago, I noticed that my Z10 display the BB_Blue.jpgp wallpaper on the lock screen. I saw him a few days and then he stopped.

I thought it was odd because I had not chosen a background of screen on the device at this point, so I thought it could be related to the OS update to 10.1.0.273 (although this has happened a few weeks after the update).

But I liked the look!  He relieved the monotony of the dark background.

Then I put the wallpaper at BB_Blue.jpgp and it works on all screens except when the device is locked.

Anyone know how to set the background image to display on the lock screen?

The solution came to me after I realized what was different about my setup.

I had activated the Parental control as a means of screening telemarketer calls. With only active PC calls from numbers in my contacts would cause the phone to ring, all other calls would go directly to the answer.

What I realized, is that certain settings applied while Parental control is activated, applies only to this mode. My idea was the fact that I had arranged my icons go, and when I disabled it briefly Parental control they were back to the standard display.

I tested this by assigning the wallpaper for the purple standard view, then activated Parental control set the wallpaper in blue. When you navigate in Parental control mode, the wallpaper is blue, but when the screen freezes the purple wallpaper is displayed.

If the bug (or feature not documented), it's that the wallpaper you choose with active Parental control is not used for the lock screen. The locked screen uses the wallpaper to the standard display. In my original problem, because I didn't put a wallpaper for the standard display, the locked screen showed that the dark background.

  • Page Forward and Reverse buttons do not work and are "grayed out" after upgrading to, as it is the elements of main Menu like file-Edit-view etc...

After the upgrade to Firefox 3.6.12 features appear to be intact. Then, after a few days he lost the ability "page forward" or "back" and are "grayed out". In addition, the elements of main menu like File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools, and assistance are also grayed out and non-functional.

In addition, the "search engine" does not search, search the Web should be made since then in the URL window instead, for some reason any crazy. If the URL window is empty when I enter a search in the search window, the following text appears in the URL window, "bookmarks and search history", which makes no sense.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

See basic troubleshooting: a new profile

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins»

If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

  • Pavilion dv6-4024tx: display random crashing after upgrade to Windows 10 (back to Windows 7)

    Hey all,.

I used to own a computer laptop dv6-4024tx Pavilion which I gave to my father to use after you have bought a new laptop for my part. It was in pretty good condition when I gave it to him, with the only problem being that she would get very hot unless a cooling pad was used (which I it comes with). At the time, it was running Windows 7 Home Premium with no problems and everything was fine. However, it might be interesting to note that while I had it I had problems with random blue screens while I was with the latest graphics drivers, so I drove back to the drivers supplied on the support page for this laptop. After I "upgraded" to Windows 10 (do not perform a clean install) for my dad, the laptop would randomly crash and display something like the photo that I have attached, before going empty and show again several times. Believing that it would be a problem with the GPU, I went and Display Driver Uninstaller to remove completely all AMD drivers and software, downloaded the latest driver on the AMD website and installed. It seemed to temporarily solve the problem, but as it's always within 30 days of installation, I offered to go back to Windows 7, but my father wanted to leave it and see how it happened. Oddly enough, for the next month, it never reported the laptop crashing again and the time period for return finally expired. The problem of course back then I tried the same solution from before but the noise continued. I tried to disable the GPU completely from the Device Manager, so that the laptop was running with Microsoft Basic display adapter. He seems to have stopped the fracas, but less than a week my father told me that he had crashed again.  I tried to restore the laptop to a system image I had done years ago, but I learned that you cannot restore an image to a different version of Windows System. Finally, as a last resort I backed everything up and made a real clean install of Windows 10, and the problem has not yet disappear.

My goal now is to return the Windows 7 laptop somehow. I can mount a virtual image of the system hard drive and access all the recovery files provided by HP, specifically the Recovery Manager. From there, I can do a recovery USB or DVD (s) we hope to restore the laptop to all conditions of factory (so theoretically return to Windows 7). I will try this, but I need a flash player more than 20 GB or several blank DVDs I don't currently. In addition, Recovery Manager says that this medium can never be created once, so it save me time and money (not to mention my last lifeline) if someone could please share their views on the question of whether this method would be successful or not. I know in case it doesn't work, there is always the question of registration of the OS by Microsoft, but I can cross that bridge when I get to it.

Sorry for the essay I just wrote, but this has been a problem for too long, and I am at a loss to know what to do now (apart from the purchase of another computer). If there are any questions I'll be happy to answer, and I hope we can get this issue is resolved. See you soon.

If you follow this step 3.

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/675-system-image-recovery.html

You will need to select "format and repartition disks" as windows 10 will have changed partitions.

  • BlackBerry Z10 loss of functionality after update 10.3.2.2474

    LS,

3 weeks ago my Z10 got the SW version 10.3.2.2474 update / OS 10.3.2.2639. After this update several applications work more (e.g., Whatsapp). In addition, in the menu settings just few of the submenus can be openen. In addition, I can't change the sound/LED; It's only permanently silent mode.

Has anyone experience similar, but more importantly, does anyone have a solution?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with the BlackBerry powered Smartphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  • Polls BBM blackBerry lost Smartphones & UMA connection after upgrade

Sorry if I get this is wrong, this is my first post!

I just upgraded my Curve 9380 to 7.1 bundle 2039.

I've been on the anterior bundle of 7.1 - cannot remember the bundle #.

Before the upgrade, I could use UMA & BBM through my router wireless broadband.

After the upgrade, he just stopped showing off (symbol of antenna) and connected to the Wi - Fi in the upper right.

I restarted my 9380 and my modem & router several times and nothing is helping.

I use these constantly that we have no coverage of the Mobile network where we live.

Are there settings that must be changed, etc.

    Thanks a lot in anticipation...

    Chris

It seems that you need to get a link via the mobile network before UMA & BBM works.

for example, I woke up this morning and it wouldn't connect.

Went out and use the phone as usual.

Get home and UMA & BBM worked.

If you have a normal home mobile network connection won't notice.

I hope it's useful to someone.

  • Q10 blackBerry camera does not work after upgrade Q10 to 10.3.1.1581

I've upgraded to the new operating system on the weekend and I love the new screens and functions - except that now all my camera does not work, can't take pictures (movies are OK).  I tried all settings, no combination it will do the job.  Restart the phone does not work.  Any suggestions?

I would like to peform a security wipe on the device.

To perform a security Wipe please follow the instructions below. Don't forget and allows to do a full backup before erasing all data will be erased when the BB link wipe:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB33591

Once the wipe is complete, you can restore your backup. Remember that the data in the backup can be the source of the original problem and restore can restore the problem, as well. To compensate for this, I do not recommend restoring the passage of the backup settings.

  • BlackBerry Z10 error in file after 10.3.1.1565 Update Manager

Since the last update, I always get the error message in the file on the Media Library Manager is unavailable please try again later or try restarting your device.

Due to the number of problems with "redevelopment" at this level of the OS, I suggest you try reload OS automatic charger clean and very energetic:

Beware that it is completely destructive... the device will be 'as new'... None given, no apps, no accounts, etc. Remember you first take a full backup, as well as make full manual documentation of applications, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduced corruption even sought to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is required.

You can also use it to return to a BONE earlier if you want... you can install any level of the operating system for which you can find an auto-loader. (Hint... search the site of CB!)

Good luck and let us know!
