BlackBerry Z10 removal of hundreds of Messages in the hub to a single click of 1 button?

Hello

I have a Z10 and love the phone.

I have all my 10 email accounts hung in the HUB which is absolutely awesome!

What I want to know, is there an easier way to remove hundreds of emails from the HUB, once I do a specific search instead of clicking the button 'SELECT PLUS' and individually by selecting one at a time...

I wonder if as in Outlook, you can click on the email at the top of the page and then shift and click on the email from the bottom to select as many messages as you like and delete them all at once?

If this isn't the case, I hope that someone will add it to the list of the already excellent features, the phone has.

Please let me know.

Thank you

TW

I don't know if you are aware of the function delete prior. It allows you to delete all messages prior to a given date. The only thing with this function, it is that you cannot select individual messages to maintain, but if you want all went to a date selected and previously, press on and keep the date in question in the menu that opens you just tap on the icon to the trash with the arrow pointing down on this issue.

I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Z10 impossible access contacts or messages and the non-existent hub

I got a Z10 now and during the installation I noticed that if I clicked on the "contacts" or "text messages'icons are not." I thought when I transferred all the data from my old divide that would correct itself, but it does not.

None of my contacts or forwarded messages, and I Redid the transfer twice. My call log was transferred, but all entries are number only, no names. And I can't seem to be able to add these numbers to my contacts. I can't even enter the contacts and enter all my previous Info manually.

I have no hub blackberry either and I asked the people who are in the same room to send me messages but I don't get them. I tried to reboot the device several times but nothing moves. I seem to be able to BBM surveys send, but not receive them.

Seems that the only thing I can do is to make and receive calls and use the internet browser.

Can any ideas on how I fix? I will go back to the store I had the phone of the future, but really looking for some information at this time if possible.

    Thank you.

Hi G and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums!

Have you made software updates on your BlackBerry Z10? If this is not the case, there may be one available. You can do the update through the BlackBerry Link with your device, or by going to settings > software updates on the device itself.

    Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Facebook presents more than once in the HUB!

    Dear all,

I noticed that my Facebook showed more than once in the HUB! and all instance displays something different from each other. Past instances show old notifications that I deleted a long time ago!

Whenever a connection and disconnection of the Facebook application, a new instance is created inside the HUB! It seems that there is a serious bug in the HUB or Facebook!

    How can I fix?

    found the solution here:

  • List of contacts blackBerry Z10 Contacts not appearing is not in the form of numbers or text message

I recently acquired a Z10 by labour.  It has been set up to use my work Outlook account and has BlackBerry active Balance.  My Outlook contacts appear in my 'Contacts' personal and work on the sides of the device.  However, no contact doesn't appear if I want to call from phone dialing screen or send them a text message from the hub.  It makes no difference if I am enrolled in the side work or not.  I can only communicate with people via the 'Contacts' application  It is certainly not correct?  Can someone help me or explain where I'm wrong?

I got a tip from another user who works for me and other users of our company:
There is a security policy in COMICS called: personal Apps access to working Contacts
This must be the value: only the RIM Apps
Otherwise, no contacts will be displayed in the phone app and also the number of name resolution does not work for calls.
Why the phone application refers to the category of personal applications is confusing to me if.

  • Whenever I plug my iPhone into a USB port on my Toshiba laptop, I get a message «overload the hub»

Whenever I plug my iPhone into a USB port on my Toshiba laptop, I get a message «overload the hub» I tried to reset the ports using the Device Manager, but it does not work. Can someone help me solve this problem?

This means that the phone ends so much power that the ports are closed to avoid damage to your laptop.  Get a USB hub powered (the one that plugs into your computer and comes with an adapter to plug into the wall) to provide more power, or less plug items on your USB ports at the same time.

  • Notify BlackBerry Z10 voixe mail, no voice message

I took by mistake a purchase of voicemail calling my carrier, rather than open the notification on my BlackBerry z10. Now, in the hub, it says I have an unopened answering machine. When I try to touch this message, nothing happens. When I try to mark as read or delete, it does nothing. How can I get rid of him?

    Hey CarlaL,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

We are aware of this problem, remove the battery and place again.  Then the voicemail notification should disappear. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    See you soon.

  • BlackBerry Z10 remove hub and server

The function allowing the choice on the place where to delete messages, only hub or as a server, which has been returned to us fairly recently, has simply disappeared from my Z10. I'm in the way that it used to be with the option of a deletion, which removes a message from two hub AND server. I really liked this feature originally Blackberry and had been delighted when he was relocated.

    This happened to someone else?

Is there a way to retrieve this function? Maybe I disabled something by accident?

You have downgraded your OS Z10?

If this isn't the case, it is still there.

Open your Hub > icon three points > settings > display and Actions > scroll to delete the and make your choice.

  • BlackBerry Z10 removal of E-mails on Z10 - IMAP

I use IMAP on my Z10 for email.

When I delete a message, the message seems to disappear permanently. Is there a way for them to go to the trash and permanently delete when the Recycle Bin is purged?

What is the wastebasket on the Z10 for? Erased messages do not seem to go either?

I was confirmed by Blackberry, there will be a software update to register to leave a message on the server. BlackBerry cannot give any date, but only that it is in development.

  • BlackBerry Z10 how to configure gmail so all the messages in the mailbox appears in the BB?

I'm having a problem with my gmail sync on BB Z10. For some reason, only two or three last messages as shown in the hub-> Email.

Is anyone know where should I look for to fix and to see all my gmail messages volume?

    Thanks in advance

Strange indeed. So now, I would say that you remove then re-add, but remember to use the advanced configuration screen. During the process of account add, where it offers 'Add account' with 2 (maybe it can vary depending on the carrier) selections, the first being "Email, calendar and Contacts", instead of what to choose, tap the screen of the low 'Advanced' button and then click on the button to GMail. Be sure to use "m.google.com" for the "server address", '443' to the 'Port', ON SSL, VPN OFF and PUSH next. "Synchronize the calendar", you can choose (30 days maximum).

  • BlackBerry Z10 remove Facebook from my bb hub?

Right, I have fb, I want to use it, but I use it rarely, so I don't want its notifications of bugging me on the hub... How can I disable notifications from FB and it appearing on the hub without removing my account/logging out / delete facebook?

My z10 also stops that randomly (screen slowly faints), but that's for another time.

PS I'm new to this community! Hello! What everyone? Thanks in advance for your time!

Hub - more (3 points) - settings - Hub Management - Facebook - view in separate account only

This is normally set to 'Show at the same time'.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Do not receive SMS Messages in my charger to 2013 with Uconnect

I have a Z10 paired with my charger of 2013 with uConnect (RE2).  I can make calls, but I don't get notification of SMS messages through the system.  My old Curve 9360 used to work properly with my Grand Caravan 2012 and uconnect for texting.

Is there an incompatibility between BB10 and uconnect?

    10.2.1.1925 OS version

I have no way of knowing... I don't have a UConnect system, do not not an identical experience. But on my Honda Civic, 2013, everything comes through in the car very well display/voice system. Thus, one could guess that indeed there is an incompatibility between your specific UConnect system and your specific version of the BB10... but, as the KB has suggested to, check the compatibility of Chrysler could be a useful thing to do for you.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Z10 remove hub of priority

How to remove the Hub priority option?  I do not need a hub priority and it takes just an additional location in my list of email addresses.

    Thank you.

You can disable the hub priority if you want, but not remove it. Open the hub and tap on the 3 points in the lower right corner saying 'More' > open settings > go to "priority Hub." In the section general, switch priority to 'off' and this hub will then hide hub of priority option.

    Hope that helps.

  • BlackBerry Z10 GMAIL account only for access to the calendar creation

I wanted to ask you members of the jury if they had experience with this, before I ruin my Z10.

I need to access a Google Calendar and pour the contents in my calendar on the Z10 constantly updated. Otherwise, I use the software Link with USB with Outlook 10 and use the account of BBLink calendar on my device. Right now I do not link Gmail with my Z10 and I do not want.

As I tried to put in place, it seems that Google wants to access my camera, put in place an e-mail account, synchronize my contacts. I stopped the installation program and do not advance.

I have the leaked OS 10.2.0.1371, which is awesome, BTW and I add option subscribed calendar in add them new account settings, but I have been unable to do so after I tried a www.google.com as the server address or the google link provides the option of setting the calendar...

Is it possible to add a GMAIL account with messaging, contacts, just get a 1-way synchronization schedule synchronization?

    Alex

During the installation process, you can be (depends on your level of operating system) presented with several different screens, some will be pretending come from GMail and other BlackBerry. One of those who may make statements want to allow setting up the agenda, your contacts and emails... but this screen will not provide any options but to accept or cancel. This screen is actually just informative... saying you have to accept if you want to be able to use an ANY of these, but that screen does not actually set any of them. When you accept this first screen, it will proceed to the other screens, which is where you choose actually the functions you want to integrate (calendar, contacts, or email)... simply because of the slide for OFF those you don't want to not activate.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, you respond to text Messages on the 9320

Well today, I had my first couple of messages from a couple of buddies of mine, and I'm completely confused here just how to respond to them and how do you know that they have been sent.

The manual for the Blackberry Curve 9320 is totally wrong with the way she described to do, and the usual topics that are on every other mobile, I had like to click on something and hit the word response does not exist on this phone from what I see.

When I read the text of people message there is a bar in which you can type in, and it says press R to answer. I have done this and typed something and as you is gone and you press the Send button. But that brings up a box asking if I want to call the person. So I thought well lets you press back on the Qwerty keyboard. So I did, and I don't know if his Envoy that I can't find anywhere on the phone who tells you your message is sent.

Could someone help here, because they seem to have made many a supermarket changing here with this 9320 in comparison with the 8520.

    Hi intruder 461,

You said we had the problem in responding to text Messages, well I'll try: when someone sends you a Message and when you open it you will see a bar below, if you want to reply to this message just type in this Bar and press the button Menu (icon blackberry) how has your trackpad moved top down you can see the send option Just click, or in short, after writing just press the Enter key to send the message.

And if you are composing a new text message, click the message text icon click the Menu key and with your trackpad click Composer. the text Message then the Message screen at the top where it is written as. (Here you have enter the name or the Contact to whom you want to send the message) Then write your message in the bar and send it as above mentioned.

To confirm the message has been sent or not, click on the text message icon on your home screen, then you can see all the names or the contacts of all messages that you have received or sent, to confirm the press on all contact that you send message and if its been sent then it will be marked as the right top.

I hope you understand. Enjoy and take care

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot open Excel xlsm attachments of the Hub

When I try and open the hub Excel xlsm files, I get the following error message:

"No observer available for 'filename.xlsm'. Download a Google Reader app to display the attachment.

I know that leaves can open the file because I can open it my onedrive using leaves. I tried to save the attachment for the PRIV and then try to open it but I get the same error. Without doubt, I was able to download another app like Docs to go, but I don't want to do because we have a fleet of 100 PRIVs and I want a solution that does not receive a new application for all my users. Especially when I know leaves can open the file with no problem.

I tried to go into the settings of application for sheets, but of course there is no way actually associate .xlsm (or any extension of specific file) manually. All I can do is "Clear Defaults" that does nothing.

I also discovered that if I send the exact same attachment to my gmail account and open it with gmail on PRIV icon, the attachment opens fine.

Another thing I learned during troubleshooting is if I save the file to the workstation account or my hotmail account in the download on the PRIVATE folder, then try and open the download icon he will say 'cannot open file'. However, if I save my OneDrive downloads and then try and open it from the download icon will be

offer open the file with 3 different applications (RSA, import and Lexmark Print Service), but it does not offer the choice of the leaves.

Finally, if I open the file to my Gmail, make a small change to the file (I typed test in one of the cells) and then save it in downloads, I then open it downloads.

Certainly a few funky Android issues going on here. I find it very odd that the same exact file name will try to open differently from the downloads icon based on which application saved in this folder it. My brain focused on Windows has trouble understanding why an OS behave like that!

Other information that may or may not apply to:

-Several months when I was still on 5 Android (I'm now on 6) I was able to open my hotmail account .xlsm attachment in the hub, but not my work account in the hub. It's the excact same email simply sent to my e-mail from work to my hotmail account and I could open the attachment does but not the other.

-J' was also able to save the file to my PRIVATE and open it. This is no longer the case. Now when I try and open the file from the "downloads" folder/app, it says: "cannot open file."

Anyone have any ideas other than download a new application?

    See you soon,.

    Dean

After working with the support of Blackberry, they have achknowledged behavior is constant in the devices and the problem of development has intensified. They say a future update will solve the problem and allow the Hub to open xlsm files. In the meantime, the best solution I found is to save all the xlsm files in your download folder and then open them using ES Explorer Google game store. He is smart enough to open them with leaves.

    Thanks to all who responded!
