• BlackBerry 8520 curve Smartphones does not and cannot go on safe mode. Help!

  Hello. I have a blackberry curve 8520. with version 5 OS. a few days ago, my blackberry just stopped working. I tried to restart with a hard reset (remove the battery for about 5 minutes), but the loading bar freezes at about two thirds of the way. I read online that I should try to go to safe mode by pressing the ESC/arrow-back when I reset it, I have tried, but for some reason, it does not. He is always stuck at two-thirds of the way and not respond. someone advised me to connect by cable to a laptop / pc. Yes, I did. but since he is not enabled "" the custom of the computer to recognize the device. I tried this several times here, but nothing seems to work. Help!

  Your device is not recognized or detected, then you try the application loader to force detection to load the operating system, but this method will delete all the data in your device, if you have a backup or using BlackBerry Protect your restore your data again.   Hey guys - need help!

  I noticed a number of posts here over the past days on the application Facebook does not the news correctly. I had this problem for about 2 days, right to the point (literally) when he suddenly started working again without my nothing at all.

  The error on the screen indicates a connection failure, but all other screens are available to you (your own profile page, other pages of profiles users FB, settings, etc.), it just does not connect to the news.

  Hi, I'm doing research capabilities of Blackberry PDF to see what we're going to need to put PDF features in future applications, we hope to develop for multiple platforms. In any case, I have a lot of questions about PDF Blackberry support, so I'll just list them all style of chip.

  01: can I view a PDF file on the web with the Blackberry browser?

  01 a: If Yes to 01, exactly what version of BB OS (or if BB device there) isn't first became available in?

  01b: If yes 01, what title to the browser view PDF files? Can it only view as stand-alone files or can they be content embedded, which is part of a page?

  02: is there a Java APIs or frameworks I can use with Blackberry to build the PDF support in my application?

  02a: if not in the light of the foregoing, are there alternatives to the creation of PDF look at support in the application?

  02b: If Yes to the above, what BB OS version (or if BB device there) has made one of these tools first become available in?

  03: If a user has already installed a BB player application on their device, is there a method to query the device to find an app that supports the reading of a pdf file and use it to open the PDF file?

  I think it is device independent because it is a function of the network and not tied to an operating system.

  Don't take my word for it (I'm not the expert on these forums who knows a ton on this subject) and make sure you test on a real device.

• BlackBerry Smartphones 9320 SMS is not received

  Recently (for the last month or almost) my curve blackberry 9320 received no texts, I do not think a lot that I use my BBM more than I text so I just thought that people were not to contact me, but then I asked someone text me, I saw that they sent and he had delivered, but my phone has never notified me of the received message I went into the folder of text messages, and nothing is found, the text I had just been sent, I can send text easily and they are delivered successfully to others but I can not just receive texts, I even texted me (Sad I know), but the phone said they had delivered but I never received them I tried battery pull, pull out my card sim for a while (30 minutes) and then to restart my phone, nothing... It's weird because I've never had this problem before.

  I contacted my service provider and this has baffled them also because they could not help and did not know what it is, has anyone here ever had this problem?

• BlackBerry Smartphones appeal pending does not

  Call waiting does not work on my BlackBerry Storm 9530. When I go into the Application phone-> Options-> General Options, I don't have a call waiting option.  I don't have it anywhere.  Was on the phone with Verizon and the phone is set up correctly.  They escalated this issue to BlackBerry Support, but has waited more than 1 hour on hold and charge has stuck.  Anyone have any ideas?

  FYI, the standby options are not anywhere on the storm.  I called Verizon again this morning and the rep knew what she was doing.  She removed my phone system, had me remove the battery, wait for 30 seconds and put the battery in.  After the reboot, enter * 228 and send and which fixed the issue. I should have known that the first rep I spoke with yesterday was very uncertain of his knowledge of the storm and had to put me on hold several times looking for questions before me to BlackBerry support.

  Given that the wipe does not resolve A key work.  I suggest you contact your network service provider for repair/Exchange options.

  Try to reset the device by removing the battery for 30 seconds and replace it. After restarting the device to see if you can check the Mobile network. You can also check/uncheck the option by pressing the SPACEBAR at the bottom of the unit.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Media Manager does not detect the 16 GB Media Card

  I just bought a microSD 16 GB for my Blackberry "BOLD" and the phone itself is concerned, it works very well. I am able to navigate the map using my phone and he wrote that a multimedia card is present.

  The problem I have is with the Desktop Manager of "Media Manager". I want to be able to transfer/encode music and videos on my new media card, but it does not appear in the list.   RIM does not guarantee other support devices by wireless companies.  So, if you buy from someone and they don't give you a guarantee then you will get probably no guarantee through RIM.   That's the pitfall of equipment from unauthorized dealers.  I am a TMobile customer we.  However, I can't directly call the RIM and get warranty support.  If I want to RIM support I have to pay $50 for the case.  But, if I called TMobile and they can't solve my problem they can escalate my case to RIM without cost to me.
