Blamed the capitan!

Hi, I was blaming updates for my problems but just found the info from here Etrecheck and I hope that's not what it looks like?

Does anyone of you guys guide me as to the time the fact that the report suggests that my hard drive is faulty is correct? and that would be the main cause of the problems I had with?

In addition, a little off topic, can someone tell me if I should be able to hear a fan inside the iMac, as I can't say I've ever heard one, just wondering if overheating could have caused the problem and also, if it is the hd, is this something which is quite easy to ride and where would be the best to get.

Thank you.

Problem: Beachballing

Description:

I think the problem started just before the update of el capitan but made a few updates, the day before this date problems began.  El capitan, which he stopped for a few days, I installed then he returned to slow down / beach balling.

I can't scroll pages for more than a few seconds then the beachball is displayed for 5-10 seconds, type anything is impossible because there are ten words before it then displays them. iTunes runs for about 30 seconds then stops mid song for ten seconds, then did the same thing once again, all very, very frustrating, any help gratefully received.

I am trying to familiarize themselves with the new Stimulus profile editor and encounter a problem I don't know how to solve.

I have a model-driven setting. In one of my unit tests that I want to make a mistake on this parameter and the fault should scale the value exactly as the ramp function.

I can do this within the profile of Stimulus editor himself or how can I do?

    / Johan

You can do this with a custom real-time sequence. The easiest way would be to make a copy of the sequence of integrated ramp and modify it slightly to a fault of the parameter output instead of a simple assignment. You can open this sequence simply by double clicking it in the palette in sequences. If you open the sequence in real time of the ramp in the standard library, you will see the line where he attributes the current value of the ramp to the output parameter:

    RampOut = (I * Increment) + InitialValue

All you have to do to change this from a standard to a fault assignment as assignment follows:

    fault (RampOut, (I * Increment) + InitialValue)

Note there is a bug in the VM of real-time sequence that could not completely error a channel of the system unless another channel is currently failing. The easy solution is to create a dummy user and fault channels it in Manager fault channel of dialogue for the duration of your test.

  • I tried to download macOS Sierra for the last hours on my Mac, but it is still holding still to download. Should I download the El Capitan instead? All sites tell me that I should update my Safari.

I tried to download macOS Sierra on my macbook pro iOS 10 for a few hours and it still has several hours to go. Should I just download the Capitan instead? All sites tell me that I should update my Safari or I wouldn't even through this disorder.

You must complete the download of Sierra. It is a very large file and will take some time, especially on a slow Internet connection.

  • CAPITAN...

Porque no me dejan publicar el problema as tengo con Capitan?

    Donde esta the free expresion?

    Hi all

I ve opened a carton, they show ever (apple support) I download the Capitan in my IMAC is to be a night sight... just a nightmare, if I send the screenprinting will fly you what he spends...

After that I did, Exchange in the mail app Apple, it create a folder call 'archive' and suddenly I ve more than 3500 emails without which it sent the e-mail... "(Sin remitente) '... and they are all as encrypt... the two person in apple support never see something similar... and these letters are not in the main folder...;" (I used this for many years mail services...) an i have never have a problem before...

Another thing, my contacts, all the merger, for example 'Juan' and put all the telephone number of another Juan in a single contact... so, all mixed... emails and phones numbers... it's crazy... the same thing happen with all 'Maria' or other...

They recommend me to reinstall from the factory all... can you imagine?  I ve been using my iMac for a few years... and I have to provide all new...

My question is what about these 3000 issues with "Sin Remitente"...; ()

Do you know where I can download a print screen to show you what is happing. ??

I am crazy and the worst, is that I have no reliable answer to Apple ;((

Sorry to say this, but I am exhausted trying to solve this problem for more than 5 days... and every day, I found a surprise to my iMac!

    Any recommendation?

    Thank you very much

  • Does anyone have a work around for the design on PowerMac G5 2005 flaw that causes noise interference on the outputs? (Audiophile, sound engineer)

OK, here's my problem - I have a set of audio interface Protools Digi 002 via Firewire 400 on a PowerMac G5 I was lucky enough to be given last year. I finally managed to connect my home recording studio system, he wire of mixer etc, but when I listen to the music coming from the outputs of the Digi 002 there in a great cacophony of audio interference, so much and so well, when I mount the system I can move my pointer between two monitors and it plays a different frequency of buzz. Everytime I open a window, Soft etc it is more electronic noise.

    He took a while to limit, but after reading this excerpt from wikipedia, it seems that it was a fault common to this particular model until Apple released the revised version of the B of the G5 (?);

' The first versions of the dual processor G5 have problems of noise . The first is ground loop- based interference,[5] that sometimes causes noise seeps into the outputs audio analogue. This bug has been fixed in Rev. B G5.'

    and

' Well that the noise problems do not prevent computers affected work, they asked problems for audio professionals and enthusiasts as well, especially for models to liquid cooling, which had been expressly designed as mechanically quiet for listeners. "

Well, that's no euphemism - in fact it makes the mac completely useless for my needs, I need the outputs clean digital noise to send for outboard effects/EQ/etc.

As it was a common fault, I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on a workaround solution, as I can't imagine recording ground studios just stop until this has been fixed by releasing a new G5?

The only idea that I came up with so far is to buy a transformer of isolation, but I'm not entirely convinced that will solve the problem?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance

Have you tried CHUD Tools & turn off NAP mode?

The first versions of the dual processor G5 have problems of noise . The first is ground loop- based interference,[5] , which causes sometimes analog audio output sound leaks. This bug has been fixed in Rev. B G5.

The second problem of noise came from his "tweets", which can be triggered by power fluctuations. For example, display or hide the Dock makes a short beep. Many blamed the power supply used in the G5 as the cause, but this theory has never been confirmed. A very effective workaround is to disable microprocessors 'siesta' using Apple CHUD Tools, but this was not recommended by Apple. This noise problem has not set until the generation of dual-core G5s was produced, but it does not affect the model of "Late 2004" (at least there have never been reports). Draw of power fluctuation has been later attributed to the lack of power management features in processors simple heart. [6] Apple eventually posted information bug tweets on its support site. [7]

Although noise problems did not prevent the computers assigned to work, they were problematic for audio professionals and enthusiasts as well, especially for models with cooling liquid, which had been expressly designed as mechanically quiet for listeners.

Just one last note on the use of CHUD tools to disable the 'Nap' on the G5 Dual functionality: restart your machine reactive 'Nap '. You may have already seen this on the Apple forums. Kind of a bummer - although I rarely shut down my machine. In any case, running with 'Nap' off today seems to have resulted in a significant increase in general speed/responsiveness for me (I'm still running the stock 512 MB RAM, with another 1 GB on the way).
