  I created a Bean managed for the Page that also contains the method to filter the VO. I had a taskflow with MethodCall component that calls the component view, where I display the region to the user.

  Using the method call I call the method to filter the VO of the bean managed, but I returned with the Exception that it can not find the VO. It seems that the managed Bean instance is again created between the method call activity and the activity of the view. Of course now I can access VO without exception. So, I certainly can filter the table in the constructor of Bean managed (under certain conditions).

  Is there another way to filter the table before loading the page or access the VO?

  The user, which jdev Version you're using?

  You must use a call to method activity in a stubborn workflow marked as default activity. You can map your bean method and create a Def page for the method to give access to the link layer. Don't try to run something in the constructor of your bean. You can't access the link layer here as the context of the adf is not initialized.

  You have to manage in the logic of your application, and not in the built-in splash screen.

  I usually use some sort of overlay as a viewer, and I add some elements, like video, etc.

  Yes but it depends on no doubt what application you use photo editing I guess. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and I can edit directly on the map of the camera if I want and download images to the iMac or elsewhere. I just did as a test on the card from the camera, but normally I upload the images on my desktop first and then go from there.
