  Updated recently for Windows 10 without incident. The laptop worked well for several weeks. It is only after the updates started coming my problems began.

  I found an old monitor in the confines of my attic, hooked up to the laptop and booted up. Alto! I had a visible desktop. After a time, a message popped up indicating the need for a reboot. Not a cold, hard starting. A REBOOT! There are 10 Windows updates that should be installed, and they could only be installed on a restart. (This is the part I'm missing because I couldn't see it on a blank screen).

  For the last 2 weeks almost whenever I start my computer, before getting the Windows Welcome screen, I get a blank screen, persistent with a slider.   I tried to download the latest version of Internet Explorer, but it cannot be loaded without rebooting, and I can't enter the normal screen that opens after the cut to finalize it. I always still try to remove it as well as the update of windows.

  Another difference I noticed is in the loading bar than before windows starts as the login screen. It used to be thick green blocks that crossed with the windows logo. Now, it's a block really thin yellowish green (which reminds me of the life blocks Mega Man in his health bar if that helps lol) and no windows logo because it does it (if it says copywrite along the bottom windows corporation).

  I am very new to the CISCO world! Preparing for CCNA and thought having a laboratory at home would be a good idea! Got stuck on the first session never :(

  I got Catalyst 3550 which is connected via a USB-Serial cable, after 2 days has got to get it connected to the COMM port. However when I run my switch with SecureCRT open, it does nothing. Just a white screen.

  Could not find good help online, may be new to the world of networks and research my problem with wrong keywords. Finally I thought to go to the CISCO forum looking for an answer to my problem...

  After a few hours of waiting and trying a few other things, thought to try if the COMM ports are working OK or not.

  Using Windows command prompt.

  Echo Hello > COM1 (directed by management of devices in use) return no error message doesn't mean works great!

  Echo Hello > COM3 (as directed by management of devices in use by my USB serial adapter) return no error message doesn't mean works great!

  However when trying to glazier, SecureCRt and Tera Term my Catalyst 3550 does not load anything on the screen and just a blank screen with blinking cursor.

  Someone please help!

  -updated driver for USB-to-serial adapter

  -use another USB-to-serial adapter

  -use another outside the secure crt terminal emulator software: PuTTY teraterm, hyerpterminal,.

  -Try another PC/laptop (the oldest is serial port)

  -Try a USB-to-serial cable and console on another router/switch

  If all else fails, I propose to replace the 3550.

  Whenever I try to "save under" in Acrobat ms on my Mac, it draws just a blank screen - completely blank without text or options either.  For example, if I create a PDF from multiple files, it will combine the files in a binder, but allow me to save here.  If I click to close the file, it will ask me if I want to save it.  When I click on 'Yes' the empty screen also.

  I tried the following:

  -Uninstalling and reinstalling

  -Restarting my computer

  -Updated Acrobat DC through creative cloud

  I am running OSX 10.9.4 on a 2.9 ghz Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro w / 8 GB ram and 80 GB of available space

  I recently covered 3.6 Air in Flash Builder 4.7.  My projects use stage3D via Starling.  The use of the 3.4 built SDK that is installed with FB 4.7, my projects, compile and run fine with the debug and release.  After that just overlap the SDK 3.6, the projects work very well in the Simulator and on Android, but when I run the projects on iOS, I get a blank screen.  I returned to the 3.4 SDK and my projects work very well on iOS.  But, I'd like to be able to have access to the features of 3.6, any suggestions would be very appreciated.

  (They have changed recently and are updated for Flash Builder 4.7)

  For step 4, all you have to do is create the folder empty tape - do not need to copy the other files with 4.7 and AIR SDK 3.6.

  After receiving the upgrade to Firefox 40.0.2 a white screen appears. It is not possible to change the settings of Firefox since the opening page because no text or graphics are displayed. This has happened on two computers, an emachines T3624 and a Gateway 2000. I tried a complete elimination and new installation using the Synaptic Package Manager. I am writing from the Chrome browser.

  I tried to create a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder and adding the line:
  user_pref ("gfx.xrender.enabled", false);
  Who has not resolved the blank white screen issue.
  Then I tried to disable the file prefs.js and user.js file by renameing them.
  It worked. When I restarted Firefox, a new prefs.js was generated. The prefs.js file that causes a blank screen has the user_pref ("gfx.xrender.enabled", false); line in it. The new prefs.js didn't user_pref ("gfx.xrender.enabled", false); in it.

  So, I found the prefs.js file in other machine with the same problem and commented of the user_pref ("gfx.xrender.enabled", false); line. (I guess that remove this line would also work.) Firefox now works on the second machine and is no longer launches a blank white screen.

• When I opened a new tab I see a blank screen, as I always used to do, rather than see a screen full of recent sites I visited.

  I'm on Firefox 16.0.2. About a week or two ago it spontaneously change happened. When I open a fresh tab, I see a blank screen. This is what I'm used to. Now, for some reason any my new tab is filled with up to nine websites I've visited previously. I don't want that! How can I change back to get a white screen?
