Block-memo blackBerry Smartphones Treo to transfer to Blackberry Notepad

No one knows the best way to do it. The Blackberry Desktop tool is not compatible with the latest version of palm desktop by verizon from wherever the Blackberry tool does not work.

I ended up sync treo to outlook, then outlook to BB and all is well

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Help! No block-Memo on my 6280

I just bought this phone off of ebay, was supposed to be a 6230 and is a 6280, not really a problem. Seems to work well, but there is no notebook is located. How can I get that edge of return?

Oh boy... okay... what you want to do now is to run a device not supported on a carrier network. Be fully aware of what that means. A high probability of zero is supported by the carrier... zero. With this in mind, there are ways to run an another carriers OS on your device. You will first need to hunt through other carriers for a bundle of BONES for your exact model BB device. Once you find it, you can try this procedure to use.

Be very careful. And be very well aware that there is a significant chance you'll wind upward of bricking the device. And there is still a chance that it won't work for other reasons. You are embarking on a path that should be considered similar to the beta.

    Good luck.

I have searched here and tried the suggestions, google, even used the method suggested by BB but nothgin seems to have recognized my old treo.

I had worm Office Treo 4.2 and it does not recognize. uprgaded to 6.2 (i knowit says that it works with 6.1 on the BB site) and it still wouldn't. tried sync'ing with MSoutlook repeatedly and for some reason that I can't even get my treo to sync properly with it to make it work!

  • ID blocked BB blackBerry smartphones

    Hello

I tried to access my world of bb in vain, because my bb ID is blocked. I tried several times to ecover, but system kept sending the password on the account that I can't get access.

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? I have a BB 8520 curve

Thank you much for the help

    Hello

For security reasons, password reset emails never reach the BB itself. So, you need to separate access to this email account to receive and treat the password reset.

If you used the e-mail account is also available (for example, GMail, Yahoo, etc.), and then simply use a browser/PC and their webmail interface.

If the email account you used is only accessible through the BB (hosted @carrier, @bb, etc.), then you need to apply a rule to redirect on that account so that you can receive email elsewhere (for example, GMail, Yahoo, etc.):

    • KB28232 Reset blackBerry ID e-mail are not delivered to the mailbox associated with
    • KB28111 Impossible to reset the BlackBerry ID password when using a hosted BlackBerry email address

If you really have no way to access this email account, or if the e-mail account has been deleted, then you are stuck... and must make a decision...

If you have no AppWorld or other files that you need to keep (for example, buy folders for the applications), then simply drop the BB ID and create a new. To do so, however, requires a device WIPE:

    • Be sure to check the link in my sig auto on this post... you need to be sure you have a good local backup on a computer
    • KB26694 How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet

If you do not have AppWorld documents that you need to keep, then you need human intervention. To receive, you must ring to the top of your mobile service provider and convince them to escalate your case up to BlackBerry. In addition, you must convince BlackBerry you with a solution - which probably will be reset your current BB ID so that you can access it again or you will need to create a new BBID and they will manually move your purchase to the wire records. Note that I don't know if they will be willing to do, but there is no other way I know of to keep your purchase records BBID/AppWorld prerequisites.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones short message transfer rejected for Bold 9780

There is a person in my contacts that I can not text. Still, he comes up with a x red and says "transfer short message rejected". The person can still text me, however, and I have no trouble calling the number. It only occurs with this contact.

I tried to delete the contact and re - add, take out battery and sim card, but it does not work.

    Can anyone help?

    Hi fireflyfishing

Make sure that when you create the contact on your BlackBerry® smartphone, that their mobile phone number includes the area code.  Most providers require that the code is used when sending SMS messages.

  • HELP blackBerry Smartphones... transfer contacts

Blackberry style 9670 phone. has just been cut. no power nothing. I got a replacement phone. How to transfer my contacts because the phone is dead. Incidentally, I have blackbery protect on the dead phone. How to recover information. phone is dead... Please HELP

Hello and welcome to the community!

If the old BB is really dead, then it is not available as a source for restoring your data to your new device. Instead, you must use another source, one that you created before the old BB died.

If you made a backup of office, you can use the backup as a restore source file:

    • KB10339 How to use BlackBerry Desktop Software to restore data from a BlackBerry smartphone from a backup file

If you were synchronizing with a Desktop Organizer (for example, Outlook), then you can use that as source for restore reconfiguring the RIM Desktop software now work with your new BB:

    • KB03315 How set up the synchronisation of data using BlackBerry Desktop Software organizer

As you use BB Protect, is also an available food source:

    • KB25063 How to use BlackBerry Protect to restore data on a BlackBerry smartphone

You must be sure to connect to, on the new BB, the same BB ID that you used on the old BB. If you have already created a new ID BB on this new BB, then you go to your old ID BB:

    • KB26694 How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet

This will allow even you to migrate other things that were on your old BB - for example, documents of purchase/download AppWorld.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not transfer photos to the memory of the device to the PC

I'm unable to transfer photos from my BB 9630 Tour device memory to my computer using a USB connection.  I don't have a media card.

When I click on Media Sync > Photos in Desktop version 6.0.1.18 software, I receive the following error message:

    "Media services are not available."

    Storage media is not available.

"Please check a memory card is correctly installed on your BlackBerry device and mass storage mode is running.

Seeking advice, it appears that in previous versions of Desktop Manager, it was possible to transfer photos directly from the device to a PC without having to move the pictures to a memory card.  Is this not possible with version 6?

  • New phone of blackBerry Smartphones Have - data transfer

I currently have a bb curve 9320.  I changed for sony xperiea and need to get the data across.

Sony told me that I should contact Blackberry to find out how you can save the handset so that the file is not encrypted so it can then be forwarded to your mobile Xperia.  Didn't know that my backup of data have been encrypted.

    1. connect two devices via Bluetooth, go to bluetooth on 9320 settings > you will see sony xperia in paired devices > option and select transfer press contacts. (you will see the option 'Transfer of Contacts' If this Protocol is available on your phone too, its available on most devices then you should try it).

    2. you cannot transfer your sms, emails or other accounts...

    3. use a memory card to transfer media files.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to transfer music?

I tried to transfer files of music from my PC to my Blackberry Pearl 8120... and he repeated to me that there is not enough memory.  The phone is brand new... This is my first attempt to put all the files there.  I only tried to add a song.  Why there is not enough memory for a song?  Does anyone have some advise or input on this topic?

    Thank you

It is recommended that you store the media files on a microSD card instead of main memory of the device. If you attempt to save a music file in the memory of the device, it cannot be more than 2.86 MB. I recommend getting at least a 2 GB microSD and then memory card by storing media files here.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Contact information transfer

Currently, I have a BB 7520 and am waiting for my new 8830 happen. My question is if I can transfer data from the old phone to the new without having to go through a lot of manual entry.

    Thank you

Altogether. Load Desktop Manager on your PC and use the wizard of device switch internal to transfer all your contacts, data, calendar, etc.

    Download Desktop Manager here:

    I recommend the version 4.6
