  I have an application that uses a test internal client (no labview) to test a server. Use of LabVIEW makes API calls to control this client. I need to start the test client before I can control and most of the time it works pretty well. However quite frequently the Labview appliacton ends with the operating system, as it tries to start the client, but sometimes only. Sometimes it works sometimes break down.   Typically, the upgrade should take less than an hour. Can you please check that:

  1. the device is suspended (CLI command: suspend)

  2. the update interval is increased from 5 minutes to 60 minutes (GUI: Security-> Service updates)

  3 proxy Server in your network do not intercept the upgrade

  Especially the upgrade process get stuck or aborted due to load on the device problems or because of network connectivity issues.

• Export in Lightroom 2015.2.1 blocks Application

  If I export several files in Lightroom 2015.2.1, the application creates 4 zero size files and nothing happens. There is no CPU usage and the user interface crashes if I click somewhere else or try to cancel the export. I tried the following:

  -Disable the GPU support.

  -Disable "Show Add Photos screen.

  I have tried with success :

  -Create a new, empty catalog.

  -Import all photos for the export of the original catalogue.

  -Export with the same options.

  But of course this is no final solution. My catalog is huge and well organized. I like to keep my catalog and export the images from it original.

• Did I lose progress in blocked games?

  I have an iPad 2 Air runs the latest version of the software, not jail broken. It is however controlled admin and some applications have been blocked accidentally like YouTube, Google, clash of Clans, Clash Royal etc.

  I have activated Windows parental controls for a child account on Windows 8.1 and disabled all applications that are registered except Chrome.

  I tested and it blocks a lot of things, but allows much more than just Chrome.

  I disabled the downloads in the center of the family, but downloading files via Chrome still works.

  Once connected was - this child account, I opened regedit and was able to tinker around in the registry and change everything that can create or modify a standard user account.

  Notepad works.  I created a .bat with some commands file and saved to the desktop.  Then, I clicked on it and run the script without any problems.

  Turn off all the sliders to block applications seems to give a false impression that the user is locked a lot more than they really are.

  Are there other applications and executable blocking settings that can be activated in the parental control?

  How can I set this up so that the child's account runs, which is expressly authorized in the white list and no other programs such as regedit, notebook, random scripts, etc.. ?

  Recently, I noticed that some Java applications on my computer take a long time to start: at startup, the grip of the application within about 20 seconds, while the Task Manager indicates that the "javaw.exe" process takes 25% CPU usage (I'm on a quad-core processor, then that would mean that the process of one of them is fully) at the end of the duration of block applications finally starts and then normally works (and the CPU usage decreases). However, this long startup time is annoying when development/debugging Java applications.

  Make debugging, I could see that what was slowing down applications is a method of the Java API called 'getNetworkInterfaces' that retrieves the list of available network interfaces. Running a test program showed me that this method has found more than 1,000 network interfaces (!) on my system, which most is labeled "Microsoft ISATAP Adapter". Apparently, this method is called at the beginning of these Java applications, for reasons that I have not always figured out.

  Did some other research, I found that this method calls a Windows API 'GetIfTable"( MSDN documentation ) function: runs the C++ test program still shows the same number of interfaces (~ 1 000), with all the"Microsoft ISATAP adapter' s. as a result, the problem is probably not due to lack of Java; It's just more noticeable on Java applications, because Java must create a NetworkInterface object for each of these interfaces.

  Still more research to show that it is a known problem in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. The question now is: how to remove these "Microsoft ISATAP cards?" They do not appear in the devices, or using DevCon Manager as suggested on other forums. So far, I have not found a satisfactory answer.
