Blue screen Crash 0x7a error - whenever I play a game fullscreen (in this case, Fallout New Vegas)

original title: Blue Screen Crash - whenever I play a game fullscreen (in this case, Fallout New Vegas)

For some reason that I was constantly blue screen crashes whenever I'm playing Fallout New Vegas on my computer. I'm positive my computer takes care of everything, I will list the specs below. He broke down twice today while I played for a good two and a half hours before the first, but then when I rebooted and went back into the game, he has frozen almost immediately so I ended the process. Then I tried once more, maybe got 10 minutes of play until a third crash...

Here are my specs;

Biostar H55 HD motherboard Intel

Intel i3 to 2.93 GHz processor

Mushkin 4 GB Ram DDR3 (1333 MHZ)

500 GB Seagate HDD

NVidia GeForce GTS 450 graphics card

Orion HP650D 650W PSU

I went into the Device Manager and ensured that all my drivers are up to date, that don't seem to not be.

Here are the final details of the accident.

    Control 0xD1 bug: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bug control has a value of 0x000000D1. This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory with a high IRQL.

Important info if you received a STOP Code

If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows is shipped with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer. If you purchased Windows separately from your computer, Microsoft provides support. To find contact information for Microsoft or the manufacturer of your computer, Contact Support.

If you have experience with computers and try to recover from this error, follow the steps in the Microsoft article solution STOP (blue screen) errors in Windows.

These actions could prevent a mistake like this does not happen:

    1. Download and install updates for your computer from Windows Update device drivers.
    2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.
    3. Check your hard drive for errors.

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL parameters

The following settings are displayed on the blue screen.

    Cause

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:

    • The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).

    • The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.

    • The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

    Resolution

To begin debugging, use a kernel debugger to get a stack trace.

If the problem is caused by the driver that you develop, make sure that the function that was running at the time bug is not marked as pageable or does not call for all other inline functions that could be paged out.

The accidents happened during the peak performance, games. So I concluded that it was overheating. I knew that it was not the video card comes from the nature of the accident. And the BIOS showed time at 80 C +, while the vid card and MB remained at about 45 C.

So I decided to check the processor. I got a thermal paste, took off the heatsink and low and here are all the original dough had almost disappeared. So I cleaned the old gunk, put new dirt. The time was reduced to about 55 c and now it seems to work correctly.

I'm not to fast on all the talk of Techno in the previous posts, but it was just way to much work to go through all that. I have day drivers and what not I went tho, than to go through all the tests... I was going to just by a few new parts and upgrade. Glad to see the dough $ 10 a did the trick of tho.

    Thanks for the help.

  • By clicking on the firefox icon causes the blue screen crash

It started Friday, February 25, at mid-day. The only changes to the system this morning there were a plugin Adobe Flash player or Shockwave update, I'm not sure and an update on the Office of Scottrade Elite trading app. Two of these changes took place around 0900. The problems began around 1130, when the system, Windows 7 Home Premium had a blue screen crash. Therefore, I uninstalled each of the applications mentioned. I can't open Firefox to work on plugins, because whenever I click on the icon I get a crash blue screen with the words "Failure of Page in the nonpaged area" at the top. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Firefox application with no clear beneficial effect. Scottrade trading app has been reinstalled and working well, causing no other probs.

    Hi all

I have just recived an e-mail from mrcart and I think it is very likely that his problems were caused by "Iolo System Mechanic Pro":

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-system/Windows-7-crashes-with-blue-screen-when-running/3e72f5e2-0d59-4946-8050-401a397e2911

"Windows 7 crashes with blue screen during the execution of IE8, 'page in the nonpaged area failure'...
What this shows is that the ampse.sys driver is the cause of the crash.
The ampse.sys is a driver for System Mechanic Pro.
System Mechanic Pro has been known to cause problems in Windows 7...

    After reading your following suggession:
Here are a few things to try:
The first thing to do is to boot your system and start pressing F8 as soon as it starts booting.  You will get the Windows startup options screen.  Select "Disable automatic restart in the event of system failure" and let it restart.  When it starts, it can now stop with an error screen and give an error message and code.

Disconnect all external devices (printers, USB Hub, drives external, etc.) and try to start.

I got the result of the error that comes on a blue screen after you follow your process-blue screen with STOP error 0x0000007B (0xBA4CF524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Just one quick response for others...

Go to your bios to change the mode of training of your s - ata AHCI or IDE Compatible mode or all that apply :) Windows XP is not like SATA, because it has no native support for it. At the start of the second phase of a Setup program, it would fail with this BSOD.

Also read the following Microsoft article that describes many other causes (including file system damage):Troubleshooting of errors "Stop 0x0000007B" in Windows XP Advanced

Sometimes, your BIOS will provide its default settings after a system crash or a configuration. Should not happen, but it is...

  • Blue screen with the error "irql_not_less_or_equal"

I have a problem I can not correct and hoped someone could help me fix.

I got a blue screen while I was working on my laptop. I restarted windows and once connected, the office appeared and everything seemed ok, but before I could do anything that I got another blue screen with the error "irql_not_less_or_equal" So now, I have only access in safe mode.

I tried to restore the system to a previous point, but the same error occurred during windows startup.

Then I made a backup of my files and tried to use the disk to reboot, but again, I got a blue screen (I don't remember the excact error) after the first loading bar, so noting changed.

Then I looked at the log files and found that, just before the first crash, an adobe update has been installed. I removed adobe list startup failed, completely remove the adobe doesn't either.

Also, in safe mode I don't have an internet connection (without wire or cable). Blue screen errors is not always the same, esspesially codes "stop".

My knowledge of windows is very bad, so I just tried things people recommended on internet. If someone could help me would be great. I deleted all my important files from my laptop so I don't mind lossing just as long as windows functiones correctly again.

    Thank you

    King

Sorry, but there are way too many mistakes even describe.  You have about 5000 errors of Avast.  I would like to delete it

Have you tried running sfc/scannow? Hello

Microsoft System Restore can be applied if you enter in safe mode or operating system you can enter inside Windows? No matter if, within windows or safe mode, you can press start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, and system recovery. Will appear a Board where you can select an earlier date in time as attempt to correct the problems.

Run chkdsk /f /r can be launched in cmd, if you enter in safe mode you can press start, all programs, accessories, cmd. Then type the command and press ENTER.

If you don t know how to get in safe mode, when you turn on the device immediately press F8 repeatedly, appears advanced startup options and there you can select Safe mode and press ENTER.

Alternatively, you can run full antivirus scan of the system, but what is your antivirus protection?

Post the results and doubts or questions Don t hesitate and ask.

    Best regards.
