blue screen/no picture on TV LCD W3202MH

My friend has a Dell W3202MH LCD TV that no longer has a picture.  The TV and the sound works, but not video.  TV does not receive the "Dell" logo when turned on, either.  The screen does not seem be truly blue when switched on, so.  We called the Department of Dell, and since it's 3 months warranty, they want over $ 400 just to check what is out of the question.

I have the same model TV, so I swapped the card mother (?) module /tuner which is located at the back of the screen of my TV to work.  Still having the same problem.  This sounds like a bad converter?  I didn't share more coins without getting some more advice on what could be the problem.  Thanks for any help!

  • Complete used Windows 7 install and get a physical picture of the blue screen

Monday my computer was play music on a hard disk when it entered into sleep and started screaming.

It meets all of the keyboard controls, so I reset by holding down the power button.

Since he refuses to load windows 7 but also put white dots on my screen at regular intervals when the system goes through its parameters.

He enters the window of windows beginning it loads the logo entirely with three batches of 3 blue stripes run from top down in the background, but don't effect the logo or the words at all but then says that there is a windows error and can not load.

Asked to do a system repair that may be defective and so I tried to reinstall the operating system instead. The screen has once again a lot of blue lines wavy background through the normal screen of windows 7, which is at the back of the repair of the system window.

I wipe the partitions drive and begin the installation. It goes through the whole plant, until this happens at "Completing installation" then it blue screens says physical dump but blinks in and out and can not read. The rear crossbar start load windows logo, then opens pop-up box saying "installation could not complete due to an unexpected error, please click ok to reinstall windows" and then he turns around and does the same thing again and I'm going around and around.

The graphics card can't be gone because on some screens (like the logo screen to motherboard to get into the Bios etc) there is no error at all, it seems to be nothing to do with black Bios windows or windows screens it puts these error lines. Also the motherboard doesn't mean that there is an error or a fault with it either.

I checked and reformat the hard drive and it works without error.

Tested my 4 GB of ram, who also spent and no mistake. There's nothing wrong with the power supply.

I'm concerned, it's something with my card graph and map mother, or is - something in the BIOS?

    WD - 500 GB HDD

    Corsair XMS3 - 4 GB of ram (2x2gb 1600 mhz)

    Asus P7P55D-E motherboard

    Sapphire Pure 950w

    Processor i5

I don't know what to do other than replace the motherboard?

I CAN'T get to the office so no start menu stuff please as I can't do it. So I can not download the minidumps or update my system. Unless someone knows how can I update the Bios and drivers without current initialization?

Thank you for your advice. Thanks to everyone for their advice. I got my system running a bit once the new parts increase.

    I did some experiments.

I put my brothers old graphics card in my computer and loaded with the operating system without problem.

Does not perform all the updates no bother. I tried my card on day of reclamation, but once again before you complete the download, it crashes and we're back in the loop.

So I think that the map was officially.

I ordered some new parts and make and upgrade with certainly a new graphics card.

    But it works now.

So, if anyone has the same problem.

Find another computer and write a check for the new bios for your motherboard and do a flash upload if your motherboard has this function as mine did.

Get out of your hard drive and get the data off it by plugging in a new computer.

Reformat and reinstall the operating system.

If you have problems with your screen such as lines and points like I did then your operating system won't load and you will get "nvlddmkm.sys" your graphics card is totalled.

If she does not do and update on your graphics card.

    That's all you can do.

  • Re: Satellite A500-1 - slow after blue screen

    Hi all

I've owned a Satellite A500-1 in a year with no problems at all until a few days ago. When it tuning on it gave me a blue screen of death, and after 10 seconds, it turned blue, so I couldn't read error.

I noticed reduced performance since it happened. Especially when you play games or movies HD, the picture and sound will freeze every few seconds. This happens in Windows 7 and Ubuntu. I did a new install of both, but the problem persists.

I scanned the hard drive and memory errors, but it wasn't everything. Cant someone give me some advice, please?

    Thank you

    Hello

    > This happens in Windows 7 and Ubuntu. I did a new install of both, but the problem persists.
This would mean that the problem is hardware-related and operating system installation seems to be ok, but it could be anything and it s is not easy to say what part is affected.

Some parts, you can check yourself like RAM and HARD drive.

    http://www.HitachiGST.com/HDD/support/download.htm#DFT
With the Drive Fitness Test, you can test your HARD drive. Download the CD image, burn it to a CD and boot from it. Then you can test the HARD drive.
On the same site is a user's guide if you want to know more.

    http://Memtest86.com/
Memtest86 is a diagnostic tool to check the RAM. Here, you can also download a CD image.
It s easy to use. Run the test of 3-4 hours and then you will see if the RAM has some errors.

If both tests cannot find an error, it must be another problem as the motherboard or the CPU. For such a diagnosis, you must contact an authorized service provider. They can help you get rid of this problem. You can find a complete list of the guys here:

  • ERROR ON STARTUP BLUE SCREEN

    Hello

I have a computer laptop dv6-7010tx, and very often I get a blue screen on startup. I installed a windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and I tried to recover as well. But the issue refuses to go. I have two pictures here that will give an idea of the problem. Please help as soon as possible.

    Hello beginner1993,

You get a blue screen from time to time when you turn on the computer.

Run the diagnostics in tapping F2 at first upward and run the test to start. Make sure that you do not encounter any problems with the equipment.

After the test to load the command prompt and run the following command SFC /scannnow. This should scan the computer for any errors of software and fix them if possible.

Here is a linkto the command prompt.

I would like to know how everything goes.

  • Crash blue screen Tecra M4

    Hello
I've been a satisfied customer of Toshiba Tecra M4 until recently. Lately and is getting worse every day, I have known many of these blue-screen breaks down in which a physical memory dump takes place and usually a different file is mentioned (a dll windows or vga or a number of other types of files). He also mentioned to disable memory cache or shading, but I can't find these options in the Bios or anywhere else...? I also checked all my drivers and nothing seems to be wrong, as well as checked if there were updates the Bios, but could not find.

I bought my tablet in the United States but now live in Germany. I've had for about half a year now and never experienced this before a few weeks, although last week, I can't do anything without it crashing.

As soon as I bought the camera I added 1 GB of RAM, but I doubt that because he didn't at the time. I seem to have tried everything, and it won't go away, advice? And if it comes down to it, where can I send it to get repaired or replaced? My warranty is still good... Thanks for all the help
    Good bye

PS: I also had a problem with the display, it seems dust was formed between the lcd and the top cover, this problem has been worse and worse yet, I don't know how they do, but they will not disappear... so my best bet is to send it in for repair or replacement, where I could do so, who should I contact , (again, I have now live in Germany, but made my purchase in the United States)
    Thank you...

    Hi Philippe

On this path, it is not easy to tell exactly what is happening with your laptop. In my detailed problem just opinion analysis can give precise answers. If you can not work more comfortably backup your data and reinstall the OS using a supplied recovery media.

On this way the unit will be own pre-installed and hardware and software should work smoothly again. I put t know what kind of warranty you have, but it is possible that you will have some problems with the security here in Europe. I'm not sure about this, but you can request that the partner of service in your country.

You can find them under http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_gaspLocator.jsp?pf=true.

Good luck and I hope that you will be satisfied again!

  • Blue screen not resolved by restoring the factory settings

    Hello

I have recently been experiencing problems with my iPhone 5. Blue screens were held and has increased the frequency of these blue screens - it has reached the point where you cannot use the phone at all.

I am inclined to believe that it is a hardware failure, as I restored the phone to factory several times, without success. During most of these attempts to fix the phone, blue screens took place during the restore process, leave the phone in recovery mode.

Another reason why I am inclined to believe that it is a hardware failure is due to the fact that sometimes vertical bars appear on the screen of the device, almost as if they are a watermark. To determine whether or not this hardware related problem, I took a screenshot on the phone when he turned on after a blue screen and sent this picture of my brother phone. Vertical lines were not present on the image that he has received, which leads me to believe that there is a hardware failure.

Unfortunately the phone is no longer in warranty, because it is about 2 years old. I was wondering if someone had possible solutions to this, as I tried most of the fixes suggested on various sites without success possible and also if anyone has this kind of problem.

    Alex.

A DFU restore usually recover the phone:

    • Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer, if it is already there ((you must have Windows 7 or later or OS X 10.8.5 version or later version)
    • Restart your computer
    • Disable any antivirus and firewall
    • Launch iTunes
    • Connect the cable of the device to a USB port on the computer (not a USB hub), but DO NOT CONNECT to the DEVICE AGAIN
    • Press in and hold the HOME and SLEEP at the same time for 10 seconds exactly, buttons until the screen goes black, then release the SLEEP button but continue holding the HOME button. If the Apple logo appears then that now the two buttons, you who was held for too long; start over.
    • While holding down the button HOME connect the other end of the cable to the device
    • You should see a message in iTunes saying there were a phone in recovery mode (it can take up to a minute for the message appears). When you see this message release the HOME button and the device must be restored. When asked DO NOT restore a backup. set up as a new phone.

Try several times, if this does not work the first time; It is difficult to do in DFU mode.

  • Satellite M30X-118 blue screen of death

Hi all. Please help me with this one. The problem I have is this. After power on and loading windows of windows (the version of picture Toshiba) will crash after a few seconds with a blue screen. Windows reports that an ATI driver fell into an infinite loop and the computer stopped to avoid damage. I use the latest toshiba BIOS (1.9), ati drivers and chipset and I did a virus scan. I also tried to reinstall windows from the CD.
What is strange is that after 2 or 3 restarts the computer works perfectly. No more reboots and not problems with the ati drivers. I even tried a few 3D games to be totally convinced. The problem is most obvious when the computer has been closed for a long time (hours or days). So maybe it's a thing of temperature. Maybe a graphic component does not work properly in times of low start-up and after a while when the temperature rises, it's ok? What do you think?
Finally, after the exit of the hibernation mode or standby driver ati fails and that the resolution is back to 640 x 480. A reboot but corrects this problem and I don't know if it's relevant.
    Thank you for your time!

    Hi George,.

I don't think overheating is the cause of your problem. It resembles a suspect hard drive. Usually after a period of inactivity the drive has problems reading of the driver file.

You could try to reload the ATI driver (this should load the driver to a different location on your hard drive) and see if the problem persists.

You disk defragmentation will not help because the drivers are usually installed in a non-transferable area of the player.

I strongly recommend to take a safe backup of your user data at the earliest.

  • Blue-screen HP laptop issues

Hi, I'm having a bad problem blue screen with my computer hp dv6-1245dx laptop.  I'm stuck on a blue screen at very random times, starting with an appearance a few months ago, followed two months with no problems, then some crashes in a row of three weeks, followed three weeks of good use.  Over the past three days the occurrences are practically every 10 to 20 mintues, randomly, and they need a few minutes to wait before it will turn the crank upward again.  (If I do not expect this shortly, it will crank but it throws a black error screen saying "No operating system found") I'm afraid this is some hardware problem, like HD about to give default.  I ran the Diag.exe Image from the first post on this forum and have this available newspapers cab file.  I also have a picture of the blue screen (it's the same thing every time, the error is a STOP: 0x000000F4).  Please notify.

    Hey robwats83,

If the test fails the drive needs to be replaced. There are bad sectors on the drive that can cause an accident at any time at random.

The fact that the PC works now only tells you that a good amount of sectors are in decent condition, but once again, this could crash completely at any time and you want to be ready for it. It's a bit like a small chip paint on a car. It looks good at first but it gets out of control fast.

You have your saved information, which is great, most of the people do not get this chance before a crash. Replace the reader of that time isn't really necessary, but should be done as soon as POSSIBLE, so you're not in the middle of something when it finally dies.

    I hope this helps!
