Blue screen of TouchPad

TouchPad couldn't right star.  Showing the server error 'please visit http://hpwebos.com/support to help solve this problem. "

When you choose close, blue display with "HP webOS on the left corner.  I can even tap and showing three options, "device info", 'dignostics' and 'collect newspapers.  Dignostic show all hardware functioning.  On the right shows wifi, battery and time, no response when I press on them.

When I connect to computer, it read as a removable disk, but showing anything, request to insert a disk when click.

Can anyone help?  Thank you very much.

If the Tablet has not been damaged, the next step would be runnung the webOS Doctor re-flashing the firmware.

How to doctor an HP TouchPad (reflash the ROM)

On your Touchpad, make sure you have:

USB cable. The battery is charged at least 30%.

Computer:

Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista available USB (not a hub or a secondary port). Java 1.5 or later version is installed. If you are not sure what version of Java, you have, or even if Java is installed, go to www.java.com and click the Do I have Java? link to install the latest version of Java. 210MB of storage space. Connection to the Internet.

Various information:

The update process will take about 15 minutes. During this process, your device will be unavailable for use.

Download webOS Doctor

Download webOS Doctor on your desktop. If you have a profile of webOS, get it from http://ws.hpwebos.com/webosdoctor/sorry.htm

If not, check the webOS Internals page: http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/Webos_Doctor_Versions

Prepare your TouchPad update

Hold the Power button for a few seconds until a menu. Press on stop to turn your unit off completely.

WebOS Doctor running

Double-click on the downloaded file to start webOS Doctor. Follow the directions on the screen until you are prompted to connect your device. Select the language that you have selected on your device and click Next. Confirm your choice of language. Click on accept to accept the terms of use. Click Next. webOS Doctor checks your system. BE PATIENT! I saw this part take a few minutes to complete. After webOS doctor ends your control system, you will be asked to connect your device.

Connect your device and the finishing of the webOS Doctor update

Connect your device to your computer via the USB cable. You must connect your device directly to your computer, not through a USB hub or other intermediate device. Now the tricky part. Hold the Volume Up button on the device and insert the USB cable. After the USB great symbol appears on the screen, release the Volume button upward. If you see the HP logo instead of the large USB symbol, can the Volume Up button is released prematurely. If this happens, wait for your device to start, stop your device and then repeat step 2. Windows identifies your component and may offer to install two different drivers. When asked to install the drivers of OMAP, choose no not at the moment. When asked to install the drivers for Palm Novacom (liner), select Yes, and then leave the drivers to install. This can take some time. Once the drivers have been installed, the next button will become available in webOS Doctor. Click Next. Do not disconnect your device from the computer during the update process. When the reset is complete screen, click done. Wait a few minutes for your device to reset. You're done!

  • Blue screen on Tecra A9

    Hello

I just bought a Tecra A9... which were pre-installed with Vista. For three weeks, I kept minimum software on this subject...

    Opera
    Thunderbird
    Firefox
    EditPlus
    SmartFTP

and it blue screened on me about 4 times a day. EditPlus (a text editor) would also frequently crash... apparently when using the touchpad.

I then moved to XP. Same thing.

Toshiba has graciously replaced the laptop for me... I now have a new one with XP on it... and it's blue-screening on me 4 or 5 times a day.

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing these accidents? Or where I would start looking?

    See you soon

    Nick

The BSOD appears usually due to a hardware problem or a software error that serious (compatibility issues).

I think that in your case, the issue could be related to software because the laptop has been replaced and it happens again.

You should check if the same BSOD will appear using the preinstalled image of Toshiba.
Don t install all applications 3rd but use ONLY factory from Toshiba.
So let's run the laptop for several hours and test.

If a BSOD is not then your installed 3rd party causes programs that issue!

  • Satellite Pro 6100: blue screen after overheating problem

My laptop overheats a year ago and since then I can only use it for about an hour at a time. First sign, it's going to blue screen, it's the hard drive starts clicking and about 5 minutes later, he dies.
Let it cool down for a few hours, then it is well again. It is not the disc hard as I tested it in another laptop.

    Any ideas?
I desperately need to work again, it has been the best laptop I've ever owned, and I hate the idea of having to buy a new one with a touchpad.

    Hello

Generally, the laptop overheats because the cooling module may not work correctly.
I guess that the blue screen appears because of the overheating.
In this case, I would recommend checking the cooling fans. Fans cannot work properly because of the dust and debris.
The use of the vacuum cleaner is the best way to clean the fans.
    But be careful.

In addition, the square around the laptop must be free. It is important that fans can take a breath.

  • Blue screen at startup windows 8 on attempt of fixing hp pavilion 15n invalid process

    Hi evrybody,

I FAQ had this problem when I start my laptop (hp pavilion 15n021se) on the lock screen, when I click to enter my password, just after the cruser mouse movement I get the blue screen saying that the error "Invalid attempt to fixing the process.

I searched this error and most of the results met my thoughts that the cause of this error is the touchpad driver.

I installed the latest version of the driver (sp64225), and it is not suitable for my windows, so I want a previous version of the driver please

and if there are possible causes other than the touch pad I'm enjoying mention of it and its solution

Thank you & hoping to solve my problem

Thank you for your kind help: super mario

I actually use the usb mouse, that's why I thought the problem with touchpad driver, so I asked for a previous version of this device other than sp64225.

So to make the touch pad, perfect work and prevent display of BSOD again once I already uninstalled the driver I downloaded from hp website (sp64225) and then I updated the driver from windows itself via the Device Manager and it worked perfctly.

So the solution has worked with me is to uninstall the hp driver and update the Device Manager devices, & till now the BSOD doesn't apear

Thanks again for your test from supermario

  • Blue Screen Of Death - Win7 Pro SP1

    Well done.

This BSOD involves the driver Synaptics Touchpad (perhaps now closer):

    Probably caused by: SynTP.sys

    And that fits your BSOD

The Atheros network driver is still looming too, but just to make an adjustment at the same time, so you will know what fixed it.

On the HP support page, there are a few reports of BSOD with Synaptics and (as usual) HP support said to resinstall your operating system from scratch, but it's a lot of work so see if a newer driver help.

There is a newer version of the Synaptics driver from the support page of HP you can download/install:

  • Error KeyCrypt64.sys with Comcast constant blue screen guard all modes in Windows 7

I am quite experienced with computers and have worked as a technicial since Windows 3.1. I can usually understand something with enough research, but I'm here stummped. It is useful that I took out most of the work of tech and went into programming full-time about 6 years ago.

In any case, I tried to first Windows 8 Windows 7 upgrade. I used the downloaded installer. It seems to be okay, but I'm excited and made the rookie mistake trying to update too much my apps before the next redΘmarrage - even if they had not, to my recollection, asked to reset. Now, all I get is a blue screen showing INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. I finally found the way to get into safe mode, and it does the same thing. Here are the relevant details:

    • Windows 8 Pro x 64
    • in place upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium x 64
    • Laptop HP dv6 - 2173cl
    • 4 GB of RAM, about 500 GB disk with about 90 GB free space remaining

Here's what I stupidly installed without rebooting:

    • Comcast keeps constant (using Norton 360 and other tools), including, apparently, an AntiLogger

First of all, the blue screen appears on the monitor secondary extrnal while that the Windows logo appears on the laptop itself.
Second, the complete error message is "INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (KeyCrypt64.sys). I tried even to rename the folder I found KeyCrypt64.sys from C:\program files (x 86) \KeyCryptSDK to KeyCryptBAD doesn't let me enter the system in safe mode or other means.  Having critical files that I can't save any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just had to fix HP Elitebook my aunt with Win 7 x 64 and constant guard.  Restore points was far enough to solve the problem.  I really hate to reboot the computer, so I spent ten minutes on this one and had it work without too much trouble.  These steps require some special computer knowledge, a mouse external USB and a keyboard and another computer to work - so you may need to ask a friend to help.  But if you follow these instructions, I see no reason why you can not facing up and running without delay.

As the BSOD gave us the name of the driver, I decided to rename it.  You can use a CD or bootable USB key, but since I have the tools I just removed the hard drive and connected on another computer.

    1) go to the folder \Windows\System32\Drivers on the disk with the BSOD problem

    (2) rename keycrypt64.sys to something like keycrypt64.sy ~ (that's the main culprit - part of constant guard)

    (3) rename hpqkbfiltr.sys in hpqkbfiltr.sy ~ (I had to do this one because after step 2, I got a BSOD for this driver.  This inadvertently disabled the touchpad and keyboard on the EliteBook, so I had to plug in a keyboard and a USB mouse)

    (4) connect a keyboard and an external USB mouse

    (4) reinstall the disk hard if you deleted it, or just reboot if you renamed the files in other words

    (5) uninstall the program telling guard from the Control Panel, programs and features

    (6) restart

    7) return to \Windows\System32\Drivers and rename hpqkbfiltr.sy ~ in hpqkbfiltr.sys

    (8) unplug your USB external mouse and keyboard and restart

That's all.  Quick and easy for me, I hope this will help you too.

I will not go into the details on constant guard program that was installed as part of the 'free' software with Norton, who provided his ISP, Comcast.  There are many resources on the Comcast forums.  And from 04/02/2013 I saw a post on the forums that says the problem has been fixed, but I'm not going to tempt fate and reinstall the constant guard.

  • Win 7 crashes (blue screen) when LAN cable is plugged.

I installed Win 7, 32 bit upgrade of Vista on my Acer 5810TZ laptop.  Whenever I try to connect the LAN cable, Windows 7 hangs on a blue screen.  When starting, computer doesn't load Windows if the cable is connected.  It worked fine with Vista.  Last Atheros drivers (hardware MFG) have been installed.  Any ideas?

Glad to see that you got it working.

If you see the Acer support site for your laptop, there seems to be Windows 7 drivers (and applications) which you have displayed:

    http://GD.PanAm.Acer.com/home/

You might consider updating all drivers, sound, touchpad, etc that you can. Updates "should" improve the stability.

You could even try the Atheros driver posted after update other drivers such as the chipset driver.

You can always "back" the driver if you develop problems.

In addition, this only cd/dvd burning software you have installed? You had problems with your optical drives at all?

You have McAfee Personal firewall installed and, if so, which version?

  • Blue screen and bad RAM memory?

My MBP 2011 early all just stopped working yesterday, it worked very well without any problem of performance for the last 5 years, and then suddenly a blue screen (of death) and it has problems starting.

He will ring the Bell to start, display the bar loading and Apple, and then there will be a glitch on the big screen (horizontally) 1 inch above the Apple, after that, the fans speed up and all that I see a gray screen, not user interface.

I zapped the PRAM/MSC and tried the unique memory sticks, I have no spare RAM on hand, but who will order soon.

    Tips to solve this problem?

    AHT says this - 65/4MEM/4000000000: 0x84f6f918

Google says it is bad memory

    Here is the BSoD:

I think you have a problem of memory, although if your MacBook Pro 15 or 17 inch, you should consider video issue as well now.

  • Blue screen of death WITHOUT Flash Player!

When I try to watch video on YouTube I have Blue Screen Of Death. Sometimes after 1 min and sometimes after 10 min. I have installed Adobe Flash Player because it is not necessary to watch videos on YouTube. I checked disable "enable hardware acceleration and I always get BSOD.» I am running Windows 8.1 with all the updates, and also I've always updated Firefox when there is a new update. I tried to install Flash Player and tried all the solutions I found on the internet but non of them work so I uninstalled Flash Player. On Google Chrome, everything works normally, but I don't want to switch to him whenever I want to watch some videos in the fear of having BSOD. Please if anyone has a solution or an idea, it would be very useful. Thanks in advance!

Hmm, since you have already disabled the main hardware acceleration, it could be a problem with the video (or audio) decoding. For video decoding, you can try these setting changes:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste media and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference media.directshow.enabled to true to false

    (4) double click on the media.mediasource.mp4.enabled preference from true to false

    (5) double-click the preference media.mediasource.webm.enabled to false to true

    (6) double-click the preference media.windows - media - foundation.enabled from true to false

The effect of everything that should be blocking MP4/h.264 decoding and place you in the latest format WebM (VP9) YouTube. You can check the result on this page, but that might not show up after leaving Firefox and start it again:

https://www.YouTube.com/HTML5 (the two h.264 should be red)

It's not so convenient for other video sites, but I'm curious to know if it helps on YouTube or has the same problems.
