Blue screen when installing Win7-32 on 7.14 workstation (linuxhost)
Hello!
I installed VMWorkstation 7.14 (VMware-Workstation-Full - 7.1.4 - 385536.i386) on ubuntu 11.04 (32 bit, 2.6.38 - 11-generic-pae, ubuntu gnome classic) and you try to install a virtual machine the ultimate win7-32.
When installing win7 - Setup stops with a blue screen, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT STOP: 0x0000001A.
I tried different DVD Win7, but breaks up with the BSOD all the time installation and already checked the laptop computers (Lenovo Thinkpad x 201 (5413-FFG) 8 GB of RAM, they seem to be fine.)
Also installed WinXP-SP3 without any problems in a virtual machine...
No reference to what has gone wrong?
Kind regards

Blue screen when installing Win XP Pro on the Satellite A100-211
Hi all.
I'm started to get really desperate here! I just bought my new Satellite A100-211 and now I want to install my own copy of Windows XP Professional (as the laptop comes with XP Home). But, when I try to boot from my Win Xp Pro CD (with no SP1 or SP2 integrated), I get a blue screen of the STOP just as the installation application reached the phase "the installation program starts Windows! The STOP message says something about a file named "pci.sys".
I don't know what the problem is or how to install XP Pro! It should be so simple! I even tried the SATA drivers from intel and load the Windows XP Pro install the program installation (F6) with a floppy, but I always get the same blue screen at the same stage of the installation.
Can someone help me please? Can someone explain how to install Win XP Pro on this laptop?
Thank you very much in advance! I'm really really freak out with this
Octavio.Hello
Did you get this error message?

Satellite P200D-12f PSPBQE - blue screen when waking up from sleep
Hello again!
I feel blue screen problems when I close my laptop and open it again (while he wakes up).
It says something about Ati blah blah.I find that very annoying reseting every time the PC cuz he went to sleep... any1 has / had similar problems?
What can I do about it? I had b4 of win xp on my laptop (toshiba don't support even xp for this model) and it worked perfectly, even not a problem... and now with win 7 I have millions of problems and win7 is supported!
> I feel some problems blue screen when I close my laptop and open it again (while he wakes up).
> It says something about Ati blah blah.Blabla ATI means that the BSOD is related to the ATI graphics card chip or graphics card installed driver.
If Win XP worked perfectly, then the problem must be caused by software installed. Maybe the graphics driver...
I recommend the update driver graphics card and if necessary, update the BIOS.

Unable to install printer HP Photosmart 1000 to Compaq computer laptop, blue screen appears every
time that I connect the cable as shown, (USB no problem installing Canon printer via a cable last year)
The HP Photosmart 1000 printer worked fine on my old computer (XP Home Edition, ed.) pc
until this pc has developed problems so I need to install this printer HP old (but reliable) for
my Compaq laptop. HP printer has been connected to old pc via a parallel cable.
HP printer has not been run on a front USB cable.Printer: HP Photosmart 1000, S/N: MX0BG1F2GB MODEL: HP C6723A
Laptop: Compaq Presario V6700, S/N: CNF8102WLQ, P/N: GT814AV, OS: XP Pro,.
Two USB ports are 2.0 compatible tested with another printer, scanner and flash
readers. The two ports operate.
Tested on scanner (work) USB cableSo far, I've tried several things:
Downloaded the latest XP driver from the HP website. (3511_enu_w2k_xp_release.exe)
(However I do not know what to do with it or where to put it so it can be found by setup.exe
or regardless of the cd for the printer.)
I'll never wonder where to find the driver during the installation, because of the blue screen crashas soon as I plug the USB cable to connect the printer to the laptop. Even when the printer is turned OFF!
Disabled antivirus software, firewall (Windows Security Essentials)
and Malwarebytes... without change any help.Ran Check Disk... everything is good.
Tried to install software without connected printer but when I got to where I was
asked printer a blue screen again. The following information on a blue screen when I plug the USB cable of
printer for laptop during this installation step and turn on the laptop.
Then turn the printer on. (HP as directed in instructions to install step by step).
(also tried plugging in USB cable while the laptop is on but printer is 'no'... blue screen stillpop up).

I had downloaded the new driver for XP but didn't know how to use it and could not open or some nomatter what I tried or where I put nothing helped. Installation using old records kept asking for files, that I didn't of course. All tried, you know the drill. Install, uninstall, and more. Went back on Yahoo search (20' e time) and found a score to the HP page where I had downloaded the driver. «How to install «...»» "don't remember that being there when I got the driver downloaded. Then I followed the instructions, once more and double click on the new driver on my laptop and installed like a champ.
I hope this helps someone else. Too tired, you miss things. -

Note: System Restore does not affect personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos, so it cannot help you restore a deleted file. If you have backups of your files, you can restore files from a backup.
Important: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost

It only happens when I unplug the power cord and it happens as soon as I unplug
Hello suncoastsrq,
Usually, when we see problems during shutdown, the cause is something that loads at startup.
To this end, I would recommend mode startup minimum troubleshooting as seen in the following articles:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316434
Please note that after refine us the cause, it is important that we return to a normal startup and manually delete the startup program.
In addition, if we can get downloaded discharge, the community has access to them and will probably be able to determine the cause.
You can download the dump Auggy's previous suggestion?
Let us know.
