All point to the same exact file location and culprite, I don't know why exactly, but I updated the driver for the video chipset which was the onboard graphics for this laptop. I want to continue to play Halo on this laptop, but if this continues ot happen I'll be crazy dfriven.

Tell me that the update graphics driver Intel was the right thing to do? Should I try once more to play Halo?

OK, UPDATE TIME; I uninstalled Halo and ran MalwareByte AntiMalware, he finds two robbers of password that I somehow in my machine when I had downloaded a version irated Halo Classic p, {turns that this pirated version had the background of Halo, nothing more.} I have the Microsoft Halo trial edition, which works very well.

But I am unable to run the full game because of problems of memory, the driver is not the problem. It turns out that my RAM cards is failing. So until I am able to replace those I won't be able to play classic Halo for PC.
Thanks for all your help!

Thanks for your help. I think that I thought about it. The "timing" on my ram is disabled, so I manually set in the BIOS and see what happens.

Also, it would cause W7 to freeze coming out of sleep? I had this recent problem where when my computer out of sleep and it wouldn't wake up and my CPU LED should blink slowly. After turned it off, I will re-start and it would be nice, but now it is that whenever I put it in sleep mode.

After searching for many different gaming laptops high-end, I advanced and bought an x 500-058 in Australia last year. Almost immediately, I started having blue screens when you play with intensive graphics requirements. (for example: World of Warcraft, Civilization V, etc.)

The most common control messages bug said:

    "The computer was restarted after a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009c (0 x 0000000000000000, 0xfffff880031ddc70, 0 x 0000000000000000, 0 x 0000000000000000). A dump was saved in the: C:\windows\MEMORY. DMP. Report ID: 011511-17612-01. »

I took the machine to the store and they replaced it with a new brand. I have since started receiving the same messages on the new machine.

I tried to install the latest graphics driver for toshiba and then I tried the last of nvidia, neither solved the problem.

I tried to restore to the factory since the recovery discs settings, download new drivers, nothing seems to help.

Was I unlucky enough get two faulty machines or y at - it a systemic problem with this model that I know? Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

It is certainly not to high and not the critical temperature.
I just can't believe something like that happen.

I play several games on friends X 500 (Medal of honor black, Call of Duty 2 modern warfare OPS) and it is perfect. X 500 has so much power that the two games works really well.

Are you using the original games or copies with cracks and strange paches?

  • Re: Satellite C660-1LD blue screen while trying to connect to internet

I had a lot of trouble trying to get my laptop to connect to internet, when I was trying to solve it, the blue screen appeared and it stops, I didn't have enough time read all the information so I don't really know why it appeared. The laptop has rebooted and still cannot connect to our wireless network, I tried many restorations system that could not realize even though I tried it after I turned off my AVG protection.

Finally he connected and I was able to go on the internet for a short period of time with a very temperamental connection, disconnect and then again after about 15 minutes, I fought so he can connect again, but when I finally made the connection seems well and does not drop.

I stopped it and when I turned it back I had the same problem again, it wouldn't connect, the store could not solve the problem, although several times he has identified the problem as a "problem with the wireless adapter. I tried everything I could think of, more system restores, re - install the "network adapters" in the Device Manager, change the maximum power for the wireless adapter options and check the computer does not turn off the current record, remove all the wireless networks and then try to reconnect to their. After about 2 hours, I managed to get it to connect again after the restart it in safe mode and the connection is good now.

But I'm afraid I'm having this issue whenever I turn my laptop to go on the internet. I am also very concerned about the "blue screen" which came, it happened yet and it was the first time I have ever seen one and I have been informed by friends that his pretty severe and is known as the 'blue screen of death '. I don't know if it's something to worry about or if it's just a stop? Is it possible that my laptop could have some kind of virus or bug? Or a possible hardware problem? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm fairly certain that there is a problem with my laptop and not on the wireless network I can access the internet on my iPhone and internet works perfectly on all laptops of my roommate.

    Thank you

    Hello

You should not worry BSOD. I guess that the reason was a software conflict.
Are you using the original OS that you got with your laptop or your own installation of the OS?

Have you noticed this problem with WIFI only?
    You can use LAN?
Have you tried to test with another router and other WLAN?

    Hello!

After installing Windows 7 my pc works perfectly (better than XP in fact) has installed all of the drivers needed to run automatically unless the driver for my microphone and my 3gs integrated internet which I managed to resolve. The only problem I have is sometimes while surfing the web, I get the blue screen of death and my netbook restarts. I was not able to understand by myself am so regarding this forum hoping to repair... I contacted LG for information on downloading upgraded drivers, but got a response from them saying that my pc is not supported with drivers for windows 7. Here is some information from the Center problem with Windows 7, I don't know if it's necessary info, please tell me where to find the correct information and how to access it.

It seems that you have a C2 Bad Pool Caller error, which is difficult to analyze without the minidump file.  If you googled around and find WinDBG, you can open the minidump file.

Look for the line: nom_image: it will tell you exactly what file has caused the error.  If all goes well, once you find exactly what caused the error, you can search for updated drivers/software.  At first glance, I would say it was the Realtek drivers because you see the line RTL8187Se in your info.

My MSI Wind U100 netbook works also Win7 perfectly.  Double boots with MacOSX too, just because I wanted to see if I could do it.  I change the hard drive (for a bigger) and added the RAM.  Nothing low spec thereon compared to what was needed for WinXP when it came out!

Try this driver, it should do the trick.  http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PFID=40&level=5&Conn=4&ProdID=172&DownTypeID=3&GETDOWN=false&downloads=true

And since this is the NETWORK/connection wireless card driver, he explains why the errors come during surfing!

  • How to remove Surface RT screen while playing music.

Original title: Surface\windows rt to screen power option

    Hello

I'm having some bad time trying to set the screen on the rt surface options. I would love to be able to keep away the screen while the surface is running (for listening to music, for example without draining the battery too fast), but apparently that's not really possible since the Tablet goes to sleep when the screen turns off. Is this a limitation of the BONE? I hope really that isn't or is removed with the 8.1 update because if the system remains as would be stupid enough to keep the screen all the time to use the surface.

As LCRT said, Microsoft cannot force Pandora for background reading.  It works very well in applications such as music or Spotify and iHeartRadio.  If Pandora doesn't compete and let others do better, that's their right.  You must tell them that you want to upgrade their app.  It is very easy to do, I even leave background sound in the application of weather radio I did.

    Hello

Check your drivers manaully and also seek programs of control of the video camera that could
be separated on the manufacturer's website if there is one any of them.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones

  • Blue screen while updating BIOS on M8020N Media Center PC

I am using this computer for one of the partners of the company where I work.  The computer was a mess with all sorts of nonsense installed so we decided to do the HP system recovery.  I tried the recovery partition and the CD of restoration but had no luck.  I finally found an update of the firmware of this particular DVD player that specifically addresses unable to perform a recovery system for the HP DVD.  I installed Vista from a Technet DVD I have so I could apply the updated firmware for the DVD drive.  I ran the update and it succeeded, then I restarted the machine and tried to update the BIOS.  This is where I had a problem.  I got a BSOD with 0x0000008E error code while upgrading the BIOS was running and now the computer will not start.  I get the following on the screen during startup:

    Award BIOS BootBlock v1.0

Copyright (c) 2000, price Software Inc..

    BIOS ROM Checksum error

    IDE ATAPI device detection

Found the CDROM, try to boot from it... failed

    A floppy drive media detection

INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

Is this system competely watered or can I do to reflash the BIOS at this point?

    Thanks in advance,

    JG

I have fixed this problem.  It took me a few hours to find all the information that I needed online and compile it to something useful, but I finally got to work,

Just in case someone else runs into this problem in the future, I have saved a copy of a CD bootable image that contains awdflash 1.32 (old but this is the only version that worked) and the BIOS update file extracted from the HP download sp37378.exe (BIOS version 5.23) to a public folder on my skydrive.

Create a bootable CD using this image using nero file or another, put the cd in the drive and start the PC.  When it starts high hit enter twice to move further time shit, type awdflash hit entry, type in 523. bin for the hit to enter BIOS update file name.  In my case the PC rebooted normally and Windows loaded as it should.

Here is the file, now repair your computer.  http://CID-6f5ea26d78c976af.Office.live.com/self.aspx/public/bootdisk.img

I hope it works as well for you as it did for me.  I can't guarantee that it will work for you so don't blame me if it's FRY your computer, makes your children turn to drugs, makes the CTE runaways, dog...  I want to say is this is what worked for me, but if you use it, you do so at your own risk.

    Enjoy,

    JG
