Blue yeti, Skype, windows 7 and hearing 5.5

I'm trying to help a friend record Skype calls using a Blue Yeti mic. Windows 7 and Adobe Audition 5.5. He wants to record the mic signal as audio from Skype at the same time. I tried selecting "stereo mix" as peripheral of entry, but hearing continues to display a sample rate error. I suspect a conflict between the blue microphone and sound card edge. I hope that someone here has a way to make this work!

This can be a bit of a mine field these days, especially if Microsoft gets in the way - and he does. On the other hand, there is a list of alternative solutions to this - here's a list: How can I record my Skype calls?

    Hello world

I'm a big computer noob and I don't know much about it that's why I will ask my questions here, to get help from people who do not know how to solve this problem. So please try to explain it very easily so I can understand you.

Let's head on the problem; Sometimes my computer completely random stops and restarts immediately after that it stops. It is not a normal shutdown, but it's as if I pressed the button stop or restart button, it stops immediately. To this problem in the past, but well, months when I started my PC upward once again, everything was going well, then I thought it was OK to use my PC with that bit of inconvenience. But yesterday my PC did the same thing but when I clicked on "Start windows normally" it appeared a blue screen which lasts only 0.5 seconds and disappears after it restarts my computer again. Then when I tried to start windows with recoveryoptions it gives me, after windows files have been loaded, another blue screen that doesn't go away until I have shut myself. I tried to boot my PC with a windows CD, but when I did it wat windows departure after loading files and then showed a blue screen.

    Information:

    -Windows 7

-Asrock H61M-GS is the first thing with a menu of options when I start my PC.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A picture is to make it more clear

     <-- first="" i="" see="" when="" starting="">

It is one of the blue screens, I was yesterday. But he continues to change when I do something different. Thus, the blue screens are not the same and error codes keep starting with 0x000000 but the last 2 digits change sometimes.

I really hope that someone can help me... And if you're Dutch like me you can answer in Dutch... Would be easier for me to understand :D

    Sincerely,

    Etienne KT

Problem solved. Taken from the video card of the computer and back in and it worked.

Please suggest and inform how to return to the previous classic mode of behavior for Skype.

Thanking you in advance for your kind assistance.

You can do this by installing the version of classic desktop Skype.

The currently most recent Skype 6.13.0.104 desktop version can be installed using the msi installer:

    Hello

Here is the HP for Vista recovery information.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • upgrade to windows 8 and blue-ray no longer works

I have a HP elite hpe 570f clubhouse and I have upgraded to windows 8 and the blue-ray player no longer works.

Do you mean that the optical drive is no longer at all, or simply that he does not play Blu - ray discs? Windows 8 does not include any software that can play BD movies. Check whether the player can play a music CD, and if it is possible, you can probably just download the third-party BD playback software to play BD movies.

  • Skype Windows 8 crash with error LeAPC_INDEX_MISMATCHErreur

    Hi people.

I recently got a laptop DELL XPS which is installed with Windows 7 in the factory, but which has been upgraded (?) to Windows 8 at the time wherever I got it. I had some problems with Skype, as well as with the DELL Webcam Central software since I have the laptop. I was able to resolve most of them (with the help of excellent advice on forums like this one), but I am the last question and have not yet been able to solve.

Whenever I try to use Skype from the tile on the start screen, I'm able to get in the app, but if I try to make a video call, or if I try to change the settings (e.g. to select "Integrated Webcam" instead of the default camera"), it crashes my computer. I get a blue screen with an error message: LeAPC_INDEX_MISMATCHErreur.

Moreover, when I make a video call, the person I call does not appear to receive the call. To me, it seems that it's just rings and rings with no answer, but for them, it seems that I am not called. Finally, the computer crashes and I get the blue screen of death. Or if I try to end the video call, or turn off the webcam in the Skype Windows 8 app, it blocks again the computer.

I have no problem using the desktop version of Skype - which works very well. Of course, I can continue to use the desktop version, but if possible I'd like to solve this problem. Any advice anyone?

    Thank you!

Good news! Everything seems to work again. I reinstalled the driver Windows 7 for Dell integrated Webcam, as suggested by Tamim. Initially, it didn't work, but when I rebooted a second time, everything - the webcam, Skype for Windows 8 and office and the Webcam central software worked.

The bad news is that I will not generate a log file for you at this point (I don't think I'll be able to recreate the original problem with Skype for Windows 8). But if the problem persists, I'll do it and post again.

    Thank you!

  • Blue Yeti Microphone does not work

Today, I got a Blue Yeti microphone.  It is said that it is plugged in and when I plug my headphones into the microphone I can hear me through it.  But, every time I try to record a video with it then mic are resumed. It is defined as default device and I reinstalled the driver, still with no luck.  In addition, whenever I try to go in the menu that appears the recording devices, it freezes and I have to go in my task manager to close it.  Help, please!

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

What is the exact full error message you get?

Let us make sure that Windows Update works normally on the computer.

You can perform the SFC scan to check if there is any corrupt system files.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

Now start the troubleshooter and check the results.
