BlueScreen USB PCI card locks.

Hey guys

I have a small problem, bought and installed a PCI USB card.  Everything works great until... start/stop, then I get a blue screen of death.  Seems to be a unique problem, can´t see anything anywhere.  Starting to think that it s a bad card.  Any ideas... as I say, works fine, no problem in installing and runing fine, only in sd/rs.

Hello

Well it must be bound to the adapter - the link you provided has a support and community
MetaLink near the top of the page at the top right. Check with the resources that it can be known problems
or a problem of hardware/driver for this card. Also check with your system/motherboard

Did you follow the instructions for installing the card and all the drivers exactly like them
declared and in its entirety?

Could be a conflict with the platform USB embedded.

  • Pavilion P6520F: p6520f driver usb 3.0 pci card

To make a long story short, with assistance from HP Support Forum's, I've recently restored to my Pavilion P6520F leave an 'upgrade' forced Windows 10, back to Windows 7.  Unfortunately, when I accidentally upgraded to Win 10, my card usb 3.0 pci card decided to die in the transition (not compatible with Win 10).  I replaced the card with a PCI-E DEGOL Express USB 3.0 Card 4 Ports and power connector 4-pin 5V for desktop computers [ASIN: B01FUE7IS2].  The map loaded and worked like a champ... Until I started Windows 7.  Now Windows 7 can not find a driver for it, and provided driver disk will not load a driver for Windows 7.  I contacted the seller, and they assured me that the card must be compatible Windows 7.  Is there a generic driver online of these cards USB 3.0 can I load to bring back my new card?  Unfortunately, I threw the old card, if I can't relive the Degol map, I'll have to buy a new card.

    All advice appreciated!

    Hello

USB for Windows 7 drivers are the supplies made by the manufacturer of the card.

You must debug the problem if the DEGOL W7 driver does not load. Generally, you will see an error code in Device Manager for your USB card. This could give you some advice.

HP is not post drivers for third party material.

  • HP Pavilion HPE h8-1150z CTO D: which USB-3 PCI Card

I would like to upgrade computer (add) USB-3 to my existing. Which USB-3 PCI card (make and model) would be compatible with my computer?   Is there anything that should be avoided?   The card may only be installed or is there some other changes/upgrades necessary to make it work correctly?

    #HPExpertDay

Yes, you can add USB 3.0, but it would work in 2.0 as the motherboard must be able to do.

So you would need a powered USB hub.

  • ASUS USB 3.1 PCI card in the Mac Pro 4.1/5.1

    Hello

As the proud owner of a Mac ro 4.1 (updated to 5.1 and 2 X of Hexa-Core Xeon X 5670 CPU) I "suffer" a restriction.

And it is now old and really slow USB 2.0.

I would like to add a PCI USB 3.1 and I spotted the ASUS USB 3.1 PCI card.

Of course, this card is given only as compatible with Windows...

But I've seen a few reports of people claiming to have inserted this card in their Mac and have used successfully with several devices.

It seems that these reports are under "Yosemite".

I was wondering if they are always good with El Capitan...

I put the card in the Mac.

It seems to be recognized by the Mac Pro.

In fact looking at the system information, under "PCI" give "Expansion USB card".

    BUT:

    -No USB key I have insert mounts;

    -No USB stick plug mounts;

    -my mouse lights

    -the keyboard does not work...

    So I'm wondering if:

-El Capitan has got rid of the first USB support 3.1 to Yosemite?

    - Or if my card can be default somehow?

-If this behavior can be caused by updates, I made (Mac 4.1-5.1 online) + 8-Core CPU-online 12 Core CPU?

If anyone would be able to help me, I would be eternally grateful :-)

If so, the card can be sent to the seller...

    Kind regards.

    Hello there Penguiner.

Looks like you bought the ASUS USB 3.1 PCI card and questions about its compatibility with your Mac Pro. The following Knowledge Base article speaks to the maps provided by Apple which have been tested and work with the Mac Pro:

On the compatibility between Mac Pro-carte models graphics

Since the ASUS card is not listed, the reference of the article could be a good recommendation to follow:

This article applies only to video cards that originally shipped with a specified Mac Pro or upgrade kit have been offered by Apple. Similar maps that are not provided by Apple may have compatibility issues and you have to work with this card provider to confirm compatibility.

Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple Support.

    Kind regards.

  • PCI cards with USB 3.0 or eSATA for a Mac Pro 2006 (1,1)

    Hello, Apple people!

I got my hands on a Mac Pro 2006 earlier from a friend. I used it as a BESTIAL Server (seriously, this thing is not so much as breaking a sweat even when I throw it the more difficult task.) I love this machine) since I got it, and I think I want to do the updates. My plan so far is to get multiple mounting OWC to pick up the second drive Bay currently vacant DVD and install two 120 GB Samsung 850 EVO drives in RAID 0, while using the real HARD disk bays for a RAID 10 array (nested RAID: two RAID 1 arrays brought together in a RAID 0 array) of four 2 TB red WD drives and use two 250 GB hard drives currently in the machine in an external case in a matrix RAID 1 for backup. I'm pretty happy on this issue.

My question concerns what interface to use for external drives of 250 GB. I can use:

    • USB 2.0 currently on the machine
    • FireWire 800 currently on the machine
    • a PCIe USB 3.0 card
    • a PCIe card with eSATA

That we will get the faster speeds? I know that, theoretically, eSATA would get faster speeds (6 Gbps eSATA vs 5 Gbit/s USB 3.0 vs 800 Mbps, Firewire 800 vs 480 Mbps USB 2.0), however I know also (maybe?) that the Mac Pro I have only has grooves in v PCIe 1.1, with a (supposed) 250 MB/s maximum data transfer rate. would this bottleneck a PCIe USB 3.0 or eSATA card not worth?

Note: don't worry all "Mac compatibility" with PCIe cards (or the table RAID scheme I mentioned). I am running Ubuntu Server (64 bit) on the machine, and given that the Linux kernel supports much more conductive than Mac OS X, I probably don't need to look at all the other drivers. This issue is specific to the hardware capabilities of the Mac Pro.

Probably the most simple installation, you can do is to install the eSATA extender cable adapter.

  • What is the correct USB 3.0 PCIE card for Z800?

I am looking to buy the correct USB 3.0 PCIe card for a Z800, but I can't find any HP thru. Anyone has the info > 12 and 60 cards HP dollar on EBAY, but I don't know if those who are good.

    Hello

Based on the following specifications, the machine has a lot of options:

    http://h18000.www1.HP.com/products/QuickSpecs/13278_na/13278_na.PDF

You can buy 1 port card, map 2 ports, card port 3 or even 4 ports card such as:

    http://www.StarTech.com/cards-adapters/USB-3.0/cards/2-port-PCI-Express-SuperSpeed-USB-3-card-adapter~PEXUSB3S2

You should check the slot to get the support of the card right.

    Kind regards.

PS eBay is another story, you can buy some card dollars.

  • USB disconnect its all a few minutes after installing a PCI USB/Firewire card

I recently installed a USB (offering 2 additional USB ports and 2 firewire ports) PCI card. Since installing I get sounds disconnect USB every few minutes, even if no device is disconnected (or connected). There is a USB device that is connected to the new map (a map of Behringer guitar). The other 3 ports are not used.

What is the origin of the sounds of disconnect USB and how can I make sure they? I am running Windows 7 64 - bit on a motherboard for Asus P8Z68-Vlx.

    Hello

We would like to begin with an apology for not responding to your concerns on a timely manner.

Thanks for the sharing of detailed information on the issue. Given that the problem occurs even after the withdrawal of the device to the computer USB. This problem may occur due to the failure of USB port, I suggest you contact the manufacturer of the computer for better assistance.

Hope this information helps. If you need help with Windows, let us know and will be happy to help you.

I installed a Western Digital SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PCI Express (PCIe) card. Then I discovered that my diet was already within its nominal capacity output when the computer was shipped. Now, whenever I have a USB device that is connected to the computer, it didn't matter if it is a USB 2.0 or 3.0, the chart shows a decline in the quality whenever I would like to start or restart the computer. If I start the computer without any device USB 95% of the time it would start the graphics in the way it was supposed to be. With the clarity of high definition. I know that I must remove the PCIe card, but my questions are:

    1. If I just uninstall the drivers and let the PCIe card in place if it will still support power?

2 should I replace the power supply, after you fix this problem?

    3. is there a way to test the power subsequently to ensure that it is correct?

    4. If the withdrawal of the PCIe card is the best method. What is the procedure to remove? Out the PCIe card and uninstall the drivers through the Device Manager? If so, in what order? Card PCIe controller driver, driver finally hub?

5 leaving the drivers installed and just released the PCIe card be a better idea? If ain't broke don't fix it...

    6. If I let the drivers installed, but get out the PCIe card drivers would say the power supply to power again?

    7. If I take the PCIe card that you call the part that I'd buy that connects to the hole in the back of the tower and what size would I get?

Thanks for your help! Even if you can only answer some of my questions, feel free to jump in.

Replacement of the power supply is a common practice. It's a question that is asked constantly. If your power supply is at the maximum, then replace it. It is not all that difficult to accomplish. Even a slight upgrade with a 85% effiecient PSU is a plus.

  • Compatible USB 3.0 device (PCIe card)

    Hello community,

who has managed to integrate ALL (if so, which) PCIe USB 3.0 with ESXi 5.5u2 card?

I have a HP ProLiant server (which has USB 2.0 built) and I want to add a support of USB 3.0 PCIe card.

Because I found several different opinions, I wanted to ask here if someone managed to do it.

I run several W2K8 Server, but only one who has need of USB 3.0

    Thank you

    Martin

I just discovered that all systems server before 2012 (that is, my 2008 R2 as well) DO NOT support the addon with USB 3.0 cards because they do not HAVE built-in SUPPORT for maps. Even if there are driver available for the system, given that the pilot "xhci" isn't a native component of the operating system, windows won't be able to use it. Single server 2012 can do

I hope this helps others as well

  • PCI card does not work

    Greetings,

I just bought a PCI Express card to add USB 3.0 to my Mac Pro (2008 model), but it seems to be recognized; Information system called "driver installed: no ' on this card, which is at least in the list of cards.

The accompanying CD has several folders (unknown which is the one I want) but I couldn't find a good.

It's a PCI Express "Delock" card, but there is no product name, except the description.

What can be done to correct the problem?

    Is specific USB what card?

Most require drivers provided by the manufacturer?

  • Startup gets "Network cable unplugged" on (new) wireless mini-PCI card

Repost in the previous topic was locked, but has not been resolved. Original post below, please see previous post for more details

I recently installed a Netgear DG834GT wireless router and now have intermittent problems connecting my Tecra 9100. If the 9100 has been off for awhile (like overnight), when I restart I get always "Network cable unplugged" for the wireless connection. Reboot several times (anything from 3 upwards) I finally get connected to the router and everything then works fine for hours. Even a quick restart at this point (that is, once that the wireless adapter is connected) does not cause a problem, but as soon as I leave the stop of the machine during a time he fails again on restart.

There are no errors in the event log.

I am using wireless mini-PCI cards and have already updated to the latest version of the driver.

Any ideas gratefully received, for now every morning is a 20 to 30 minutes of rebooting frustration trying to get my connection work.

    (Running Win2K professional)

    Hello

I have the same problem if I stand for laptop and access point at the same time. If the access point is already in use, the connection is established shortly after. First the access point must establish a connection to the modem. Now the wireless connection is not available.

I guess after the second reboot, the connection between the AP and the modem is already finished and you can use the network wireless successfully.

    Good bye

  • How can I install a full-size pci card in a Slimline desktop environment

I got a s5623w computer Slimline of office for a gift.  A year later I wanted to install a pci card hardware to capture analog video and transfer it to digital to my computer.  Well, I've been very disappointed and found that the map is too long.  What type of equipment or upgrades can even installed in the slimline computers anyway?  Is there a way for the size to connect to this computer?  The material I want to install has taken to a VCR and a port IEEE 13694 (who was left out of this model, why I have no idea) is it possible to install it or did I just lose a lot of money.  Or is there a special place to purchase these short hardware PCI cards?

Please consider using a video capture device / USB like these for VCR (analogue) type signals. In regards to a Firewire/1394 card, consider the SYBA Low Profile PCI-Express 1394 b/A, StarTech PEX1394B3LPor SIIG FireWire 400 PCI Express x 1 rack w/LP

  • Portege R100: Bluetooh/WLAN 802 .11b/g Mini pCi card Combo available

    Hello

does anyone know of a Mini-PCI solution, which combines a b/g WLAN Card with Bluetooth which is compatible with the R100?

My new laptop has a bluetooth connection and a nice combination of WLAN/BT integrated in the R100 would be also cool that the R100 is. There are a few Combocards on eBay that are Mini-PCi cards, but I don't know if "mini-PCI" is a standard for all Mini PCi cards adapt the R100...

    Concerning

    Christian

Hmm, I searched a bit for some information on the Portege R100 series and it seems that BT is not available and not extensible. This would mean that there is no room for the internal minPCI BT module.

The WiFi network is available but not BT ;(

In my opinion, you need to use an external solution such as a stick USB BT.

    Best regards

  • USB <>- PCIe

How to compare the speed of the USB DAQ devices at the speed of PCIe cards (analog and digital)?

I mean if a USB DAQ can take X measurements per second and a PCIe card can take steps per second, Y

How X and compare with each other?

If it is the same model number, they are equal.  I highly recommend to go with PCI (e) anyway since I seem to have any other problems with USB (it disconnected me, Windows decided to pull out the USB bus power, etc and etc).

  • XP mode does not recognize my 6023E PCI card

I bought a new Win 7 with a PCI slot inherited to execute an OLD NI PCI-6023E card I used for years.  I downloaded the drviers legacy NOR (7.4), but he does not see the card.  When I look in Win 7 the card is there but I can't run the 64-bit drivers testament and with my old software (C++).   I have connected a NI USB-6008 card and was able to open the card in XP mode... any ideas?

Unfortunately, XP mode does not work with the PCI/PCIe devices, only those USB. Most (all?) programs virtualization will have this limitation.

As you probably expected, the General recommendation is to migrate to the API OR-DAQmx for your application if you want to that support on Windows 7.

If this is not possible, then there is a section of the knowledge base on a Beta OR-DAQ traditional (old) for Windows Vista and 7 , who might be interested. At a minimum, it will take allows you to use a 32-bit installation of Windows 7, not a 64 bit.
