Hello my pc had been excellent for the last months of work and now today it started blue screening

Minidumps: http://www.mediafire.com/?c48uyob14kwub56

Hello

Most of your minidumps point Corruption of memory.
1. to test your memory, you can download Memtest http://www.memtest.org/#downiso
Write the ISO to a CD and boot with the CD. Allow the test to run at least 7 passes. (You can leave it running overnight)
If you have more than 1 memory bar run each module separately and in alternative locations. In this way, you will test the memory and the memory locations of the motherboard.
2. your memory may need to simply be removed, cleaned contacts and then re-inserted.
3 Memory Corruption may also refer to the Corruption of system files.
This is why when in Windows, select start-> run
Type chkdsk c:/r
(where c: is your hard drive letter), enter
If it asks you if you want to force the reader to disassemble not, if it asks you if you want to schedule a scan at the next startup to say Yes. Restart the PC and let chkdsk scan your hard drive for errors.

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to avoid damage

    on your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen,

Restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow

    the following steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed

hard disks or disk hard cnotrollers. Check your hard ddrive

to make sure that it is correctly configured and completed.

Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

    Technical information:

    Stop: 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

If your PC has a SATA controller that is defined for the sata mode so your lack of sata drivers XP installation disc.  You might look into the bios to check if you have a sata controller sata mode.

If the above is the case, then you have options IF you want to use XP.

    1. put the sata controller in IDE mode in bios

    2. build a disk to install XP with sata drivers via a process of fusion ("slipstreaming") using NLite.

If you do not really want to use XP then get Windows 7.

  • BSOD - P2V from XP SP3 to run in Win7

    Hello

I created a virtual machine from a machine XP Pro SP3 physical, using VMware vCenter Converter Standalone v4.3.0.

I am trying to run the virtual machine as a guest in one machine ultimate Win7 using the VM player, v3.1.3 build-324285.  I downloaded the converter and player last night (07/03/11).

I get a BSOD when I try to start the virtual machine.

    BSOD.PNG

I have been Googling, trying to figure out why, but could not find an answer.  The XP machine has only one 150 GB drive and a single partition, which is 70% of free space.  The resulting vmdk file is about 44 GB.  (I don't think I should be having problems with the 127 GB limit I read)

I get the same errors when I create the virtual computer using disk2vhd and try to run under virtualbox.

Does anyone have ideas of things to try?

    Thank you

    Jay

7B BlueScreen after P2V of XP Sp3 with Converter 4.3 is expected behavior.

Converter 4.3 misconfigures the default work -please don't ask me why - it's so stupid

4.3 converter, you have the options for the mass storage controller: preserve the controller, IDE, buslogic, free - if I remember correctly.

Only if you select "buslogic" import will probably work.
All the other 3 options produce the bluescreens in most cases.

In rare cases - source machine uses IDE with Intelchipset - the IDE option can work.

Converter 3.0.3 does not offer this option - but it will configure work correctly by default. It will always use "buslogic".

If you know this stupid behavior you can produce results with 4.3 - If no bootable: use 3.0.3 for 2000, XP and 2003 machines source

I tried the two home (SP3) and Pro (sp1) using the buslogic and lsi drivers with no luck so am hoping someone can give me some pointers on what goes wrong...

I had this job before, but just had to replace the system drive in my workstation to a failed dues so thought I'd take the ooportunity to 2 drives in a raid 0 array. I'm also running Vista 64 (which I've been before so) with 4 GB of ram with a 2 cpu core. everything is fine and working until I just installed xp!

    any thoughts anyone?

I noticed that you are using Workstation 6.5.0.  6.5.1 is available for download.  Not sure if this will solve your specific problem, but maybe try to update on 6.5.1?

  • Firefox supports Windows XP SP3?

Now that we are in April 2015, Will Firefox provide some updates and fixes for Windows XP SP3 users? Google made Chrome support XP until April 2015, I cannot afford to buy a new computer and am looking for a new browser for my Windows XP SP3 laptop.

Firefox is safe for the WinXP, using the same code in future versions of WIndows use, but because Windows XP does not receive security patches that Firefox is also safe that WinXP is safe. Slippery slope when you use an EOL operating system - and the web browser will not "fix" gaps with WinXP as well as's safety.

  • Last download of Norton Security seen cloud 9 virus issue after downloading Firefox opens not said 'cannot find runtime", removed and reinstall XP Pro SP3 work

Running Firefox 36.0.1 an update has been downloaded on 3.19.2015.
Norton said that this is a problem of cloud 9. Subsequently tried to open Firefox,
but instead of opening, I received an error "can't find execution". "."
Deleted Firefox of installed programs, news and everything works great.
2 days later received an update downloaded and exactly the same thing happened.
After removed again, installed new with 36.0.3 and everything works fine again.
I use Win XP Pro SP3

It's a problem with Norton and not the Firefox browser with Norton of Suspicious.Cloud claim

She did this false positive Suspicious.Cloud with SeaMonkey for years every so often releases SM and Norton did not bother to fix it. Norton antivirus would claim a virus found in file freebl3.dll only there is not and never has been.

You have to be such a regular occurrence that they still singling out Norton in the known issues for SeaMonkey version notes for a few years as can be seen in http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/seamonkey2.33/#issues and appears until Norton finally fix it.

Messages on the claim of Suspicious.cloud with Firefox here (and mozillaZine) were infrequent compared to SeaMonkey.

  • When I try to install firefox 33.1 or any version it says "sorry, cannot install Firefox. "This version requires Windows XP SP2 or newer", I have SP3

I can't install the latest addition of firefox on Windows XP Professional SP3. I currently have version 12.0 and when I click search for updates, it says that Firefox is updated. However almost all Web sites display a notice that says "it looks like you are using an older version of firefox.

Make sure that you are not Firefox running in compatibility mode.
You can open the properties of the desktop Firefox shortcut via the context menu and check under the tab "compatibility".
Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.

  • Why is wmiprvse.exe begins with Firefox 32.0.1 under XP SP3?

Whenever I run Firefox, I see wmiprvse.exe load as a running process. I see this using Process Explorer from Sysinternals. This happened since I updated to the current version of Firefox (32.0.1). It also occurs whenever I start the latest version of Thunderbird (31.1.1). I have two questions:

    1. is this a normal behavior?
    2. If so, why is it necessary?

And just to clarify things, I researched for HOURS using 'my friend' Google. I also tried to get the answers to these questions in the various forums without success. My copy of wmiprvse.exe is NOT infected (I ran across Virustotal) and is located only where it is supposed to be on my hard drive.

Please help me by joining answers to the two questions I and do not forget that I am talking only about XP SP3.

  • I always use WinXP SP3, still do not work Firefox and Thundrebird or will I need to STOP updates?

    I have 2 computers relatively old WinXP Sp2 & SP3.
When should I stop installing the updates?
I have 31 Firefox and you want to use Thunderbird.

The minimum required Windows always is WinXP SP2 I see testers using 34.0a1 (which is on the development Nightly channel) on Windows XP.

  • XP SP1 and SP3 are mentioned, but I can run latest Firefox on XP SP2?

I run XP SP2 and not load XP SP3. I run Firefox 3.6.22 because Roboform fooled me with a lie. When I bought Roboform, I was "guaranteed all updates AND upgrades for LIFE", but when Firefox 3.6, there was an apparent RoboForm complicity so that new versions of Roboform have been blocked from working in Firefox 3.6 (at the same time, of course, removed Firefox browser Firefox password management) , and clients that Roboform had guaranteed 'upgrades for life' were NOT excluded in to avoid the breaking of Roboform promise/warranty for them.

I will switch to Linux, but I use LastPass (instead of Roboform) up there. I'll never pay for Roboform a penny, and I always post my experience with their dishonesty whenever the forum is conducive.

I can switch browsers, but I remain all too quickly with Firefox if you can tell me what version of Firefox will work CORRECTLY with XP SP2 (and be maintained properly)? A link to it would be helpful.

    Thank you
    Grace bird songs

The plugin list below is partially, but not completely, correct.
I use Microsoft Office and do not use most of the plug-ins listed.

Yes, I use it for years now and never had a problem with it. You can protect/encrypt your passwords in the main Manager of pw of firefox with a password is asked once per session (if not, a person with physical access to your computer could read the passwords).

Use a master password to protect stored passwords and logins

Password Manager - don't forget, delete, modify and import passwords saved in Firefox

  • How to run Windows update for Win XP SP3 using Firefox

My desktop PC computer running windows XP with SP3. My spouse uses IE 8 for its browser. I use Firefox Version 24. for my browser. Previously, whenever we ran MS or Windows update it starts IE and works very well. IE 8 blew up and does more (execution errors). I tried to go to the site to update Windows using Firefox and he came back and told me that I had to use IE to launch Win update on an XP system. Is this true? I don't want to use IE at all. Is it possible to use Firefox to run Windows or MS update on my Win XP system? Thank you.

You cannot run windows update using Firefox because it uses controls ActiveX Firefox is not (and will never). Yes, then unfortunately use IE for Windows update.

  • How to use a Mac to download firefox.exe Flash drive to install Win XP SP3 box?

Recommended to install Firefox on a new Acer Aspire 1 (ZG8) with Win XP 2002 SP3 without configuring MS Explorer. I want to do by downloading Firefox on a USB key, then transfer it to Acer and settle there. But my other computer is a Mac Book Pro (OS X 6.8), and Mozilla only offers me a Mac version. How to use the Mac to download an .exe file of windows on a portable flash drive? If I use a distro Linux and VirtualBox with my Mac, that would allow me to choose the right download for MS Win XP 2002 SP3?

Under the button ' download free Firefox ' it should be 'Systems and languages', which gives you links to download Firefox in any language for Linux, Mac and Windows. Here is the link https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

    (2) Although the automatic checking of new versions is unchecked, to launch it often starts in default mode (all resets, history delete by default start page, etc.) as if being a standalone upgrade/renewal to a higher version;

    solution
    What are the solutions?
If the above mentioned theory is true, what can I do?
at what point is ff OS?

Thank you to all the foxes

No, Firefox is still supported on WinXP SP3.

If Firefox pass by itself or by the use of help > about Firefox, it is best to download and install the latest version of your self. My advice is to uninstall the old version before installing the new version, but do not select the option in the routine of uninstall to remove the customizations and data of Firefox. By default Firefox keeps all your data and customizations, and the new version will automatically collect your data and your customizations.
