Bluetooth and satellite M100

Hello

I have a Satellite M100 and I think that it supports Bluetooth, but so far, I could not use it or even locate. The only indication I have is that there is in ' Add/Remove Programs 'category' Bluetooth stack ".» Except that I couldn't use it and I have my laptop for a year in an orderly manner.

So please help me.

    Hello

one question: are you sure that a bluetooth module is physically installed in your system? It would be very interesting, because if you have not installed modules then it s self explaining that no bluetooth hardware is listed in your device manager.

I googled a bit autour and discovered, that your machine is not equipped bluetooth when shipped from the factory, so I think you really need to know if you have installed.

Established on M100-221 Windows 7 laptop, downloaded all the drivers of a site under the given system, updated the bios to version 5.6, but fn + F1 keys do not work...

The if on fn key press turns on, but in a combination with F1... Does not work.
    Ask what to do.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I'm not very well if you get the FN m current buttons on this laptop computer as part of Win 7 because it s an older series.
But to my knowledge the FN buttons are controlled by the Support of Flash memory card utility.

Please check the driver series L500 area.
You will find the Support of Flash Card Utility and VAP (value added package).
Install first the PPV then Support of Flash Card Utility

    Usually, it should work...

    Hello

As far as I know that the Bluetooth is not available on your device. In this case if you do not want to use Bluetooth technology, you will need to use the device Bluetooth (Bluetooth USB key). Sorry but in this case you don t have another option.

When I checked the drivers from this site for my brand, I saw two options; battery filter Bluetooth and bluetooth.

Who am I supposed to download.

Looking forward to your prompt response.
    Thank you.

    > I had a portable C850D-107 Satellite as a gift, but I discovered that there is no driver bluetooth inside.

No all laptops are equipped with a BT module or feature and the C850D-107 Satellite can't internal BT

You can use the special function key mode which allows you to use the function keys without pressing the FN key. This can be changed _in BIOS_ (F2->-> Advanced tab-> System Configuration-> special function mode key in BIOS)

  • Satellite M100-JG2 HotKey and date and time problem

    Hi all

I'm not very good with computers, and I've had some problems for a while now. My laptop is almost three years, I don't know why I'm writing this after so long but anyway. I think they are called "keys" or "launchkeys", hopeyfully, you know what I mean, but anyway they do no more work. They worked for a while, but they do not work now. I went into the control panel and went into the 'Toshiba' orders and tried to change what does each control, but it still does not work. No one knows how to fix?

Also, another problem that I had since I first laptop is my date and time are screwed up. If I put my 15:30 time, it works perfectly, until around 16:15, that when he goes back to 15:30 and go all the way up to 16:15 and continues in this cycle until I manually change the time. I had a few friends (no professional) to look at, but can not understand. When I start my laptop I go to settings in the start screen, try to change it was from there, but it keeps going during the cycle. If I click on the time and click on the tab "internet time" and say "update now", it updates, and then only time will work normally, but only until I turn off my laptop. Once I turn it on then next turn, it passes through this new cycle of 45 minutes. If anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix?

I'm not very good at explaining, but I hope you guys can help! I appreciate it really :) Show!

The Toshiba Satellite M100. M100-JG2 seems to be a Canadian series laptop. I recommend you to visit the driver Toshiba Canada page and to download and reinstall the tool called controls, Toshiba HotKey Utility, touch and launch.

I think that you have changed the date and time in the BIOS. Is this good?
If not, change it and don t forget to save the changes.

In Control Panel--> Date and time--> time tab Internet, please uncheck the auto sync with the internet time server.
In the other, called tab time zone please choose the right time zone and activate the tick to the option called automatically adjust the clock for an advance of changes

  • Satellite M100 - fans begin and are quite loud

I just bought a new Satellite M100 14 "with Intel Centrino Duo. I thought that newcomers are not very strong, so I was very surprised that mine is very noisy. Even if no program is open and when I just started, the ventilation starts and is quite noisy. Is this normal?

My computer laptop friends make no noise at all or simply if they have already been used for hours. Please could someone tell me if this is normal with this model or if I should change?
I can't imagine that after five minutes the processor becomes so hot already.

    Thank you.

I also read here in the forum that an update of the BIOS has helped to reduce the rotation of the fan. After an update, the fans runs constantly every time but with lower turnover and many quitter.

  • Satellite M100/200 PSMAAA RAM issue and replacement keyboard

For the last year my satellite M100/200 PSMAAA-022006 worked rather slow, it takes a long time to open programs and sometimes crashes.
So I intend to make a recovery of the system at the end of the school term.

Now, I think I have a bit of extra ram, I don't want to have to go deep into my laptop and put it under my keyboard, so I'll just put it in the free space below the friendly place. I don't know what kind of ram it will take care of my system with 512 venus, then would it be appropriate put a 1 GB Stick? I can't find a manual on the Toshiba page so I'm not aware of what my system can handle and what kind of ram I can install myself.

So the question is. How much ram can I put in and what kind.

Also months ago I removed some keys to remove hair and lint on my keyboard, those General in the middle of the keyboard were easy to replace but my key "1" would not, so I removed the '2' thinking if I can work on how we worked the other should do the same.

So now I'm stuck with not one or two keys, which I have now lost. The membrane on my a key ripped off also so now there are just the small piece of circuit showing. I thought that if I can remove the piece of plastic on the keys it might let me get the angle right them suddenly on.

Should I take my laptop in a repairman and let them sort it out?

    Hello

You can replace plastic key keyboards plugs, but you will not be able to replace the simple buttons
So, if the only keyboard button doesn t work, then you need a new keyboard.
Akuma is right you should get in touch with the ASP to replace!

The M100 should accept 2 GB of RAM (2 x 1 GB) I googled a little and some were abele to upgrade!

    Greetings

  • Satellite M100: question the CIR and IRDA

    Hi all
I am the proud owner of a Satellite M100, I bought in Australia.

My question is about the CIR port that is used by a remote that came with the laptop.

I thought that it was possible to use this port for normal IRDA connections (in this case, a mobile phone Nokia 6610i) but I can find no documentation to prove this in both directions. the software Nokia PC Suite tells me I have no infrared port, and this is coroborated by none of the infrared devices in Device Manager.

Here are all the tools/programs/drivers I can use to get my CIR port to work as more than one port for my remote?

any input would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

No, there is no software and it s not possible to do this.
The fact is that the IrDA port is not available on this device.
The only way to use this feature is to buy a USB-IrDA adapter.

  • Satellite U405D-S2852 - it have Bluetooth and how to turn it on?

Is - this Satellite U405D-S2852 has Bluetooth and if yes how I turn it on?
I try to install battery bluetooth 6.0. It is not all devices

On the Toshiba Web site I can find a Bluetooth driver for your model, so I think it should be equipped with Bluetooth.
If you are not sure, ask your computer dealer.

If you use Bluetooth, you must activate the WiFi switch on the laptop and turn it on with FN + F8.
In addition, try to install the latest driver on the Toshiba site:
