Bluetooth and Windows 7

I have a HP Pavilion Slimline s5111uk desktop PC which has a device internal bluetooth which worked fine until I upgraded to windows 7.

I tried to use the bluetooth, but the only reference I can find to it is in the list of recently used programs. I looked in the control panel to the device etc and it does not appear anywhere. Can someone help me?

The specifications of your desktop does not show a bluetooth device installed. Have you installed it then?

Best regards
ERICO

  • Problem with the HP Pavilion Bluetooth and Windows 8.1

I have a new HP Pavilion (approximately 6 weeks) 15-n205AX running windows 8.1.  Can I connect my android phone with it, but when I try to send a picture from phone to the laptop it says failed to connect.  (But I can do okay on my old laptop so doubt the problem is the phone).  I removed the device and re-paired several times, apparently successfully, but still cannot send pictures.

    Any thoughts?

  • HP ENVY, Bluetooth and Windows 8.1 (2919355 KB)

    Computer: HP ENVY 15-j159

    OS: Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Bluetooth adapter: no idea, same local HP support had no idea.

Problem is that Bluetooth stopped working when the update of spring for Windows 8.1 has been installed. It works perfectly with 8.1 before the update. Now I can't really find a Bluetooth Device Manager device and there is a malfunction "unidentified USB device' instead - which is more than what the computer contains indeed so I am betting it is in fact the Bluetooth for some odd reason."

The odd USB device information just in case it might be relevant:

    Port_ #0005.Hub_ #0003

Device stopped because it reported an error (Code 43).

A request for the USB device descriptor has failed.

I had the thing in support of Bluetooth manual auto (services.msc) but it changed nothing.

I can currently see the Bluetooth 'switch' in the tab 'airplane mode' settings of the computer where it is greyd out and can not be displayed/hidden.

What has been done - KB 2919355 has been restored, and the USB 'broken' remained, however, after having disconnected and restarted, I was able to restore the Bluetooth feature however that without Microsoft KB 2919355 update. Given that Microsoft clearly indicates that the update in question is essential and mandatory for other updates I reapplied it and as expected even once, he stopped working Bluetooth. So while the finger is clearly pointing the MS I wondered if one had seen intelligent to offer.

    OK, move forward!

I removed the faulty USB device (which, in fact, did not exist) and also the wireless dual band of Device Manager. And then reinstalled fresh drivers that I had downloaded before you remove the wireless device. And done, Bluetooth & WLAN are both now work (apparently) very well on Windows 8.1 and KB 2919355 - and weird USB device malfunction has disappeared as well.

    Hello

I have a Mobile of 150 Officejet and I can't connect to my laptop via bluetooth. The laptop that I use is a HP M6-1117TX which has the bluetooth function. It works on Windows 8, 64-bit.

When I tried to install via the CD nothing happened. The installation screen appears, but there is no button install, just an exit button. From there, I downloaded the software and the drivers from the HP website. This installed OK, but after installing I can not connect to the printer and the computer tells me that there is no driver for the printer. The bluetooth is enabled on both devices.

I was able to connect and print via the USB using the HP installation wizard

Question: Why the computer won't recognize a driver for bluetooth? If it not is not how it?

    -Device Bluetooth device
    -Device Bluetooth device
    -Device Bluetooth device
    -Device Bluetooth device
    -Device Bluetooth device

    Additional information:

There are NO NOKIA SOFTWARE currently INSTALLED.  I had the version more up-to-date of Nokia PC Suite installed earlier today, but I uninstalled it to rule out it as the cause of the problem.

    Objective:

To be able to connect my phone Nokia E50 in my XPS and synchronize etc...  It's a thing that I was able to do in the past (not sure how long ago), but now I'm having these problems.

    Problem:

When I turn on my Bluetooth connection it starts to search for drivers of devices at random (see above).  He is unable to find the drivers for them and Windows problem reports & Solutions (WPRS) says that there is a problem with my Nokia cell phone.  However, as above, I uninstalled Nokia PC Suite and Nokia ALL entries from the list of programs in the control panel.

I'm also be prompted by WPRS to consult the Broadcom website for driver updated also, but surprise surprise their Bluetooth software upgrades are not available now.

I spent almost 3 hours to try to rectify this problem until today and I have tried at least four different solutions of various Web site, including this one.  From what I've read, it's an extremely widespread problem that seems to have no infallible solution, which is a bit ridiculous because it is only a problem of Bluetooth connection!

    So my questions are:

    1. Why is it I'm being invited to check the Nokia website when all of Nokia is uninstalled?
    2. Why is it I'm being invited to visit the site of Broadcom also?
    3. why my system tries to install five devices that do not exist whenever I power on Bluetooth?

I suspect that it is a problem of Microsoft or Dell but don't seem to be able to solve.  All my drivers in Device Manager are up to date (at least I said that when I try to update, although I'd like to think that there has been updates since 2006?) so unless there is some hidden updates on the wwweb somewhere that I can't find so I'm puzzled.

I know that people are probably sick of hearing about this problem, but it has not disappeared, so he needs to take care.

    Ronan:

    Hello, Ronan,.

Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

I would like to respond to three questions of your message:

    1. Why is it I'm being invited to check the Nokia website when all of Nokia is uninstalled?

It is possible that your software Nokia my not completely uninstalled. There may be services or registry information left behind. You can download the following utility and uninstall completely.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp tool to uninstall any remaining Nokia information.

Installation of the Windows Installer CleanUp tool:

    Find the tool here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

When you install the tool, you must be logged on as administrator of the machine.

After you download the ms1cuu2.exe on your desktop, you will need to right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator" and you will need run the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the start menu. It will be under programs and will be called "Windows Installer Clean Up.

    2. Why is it I'm being invited to visit the site of Broadcom also?

Because Dell uses Broadcom, more than likely, you will be redirected there after installed Dell printer the standard utilities trying to solve this error message Bluetooth that happens.

    3. why my system tries to install five devices that do not exist whenever I power on Bluetooth?

After you uninstall the Nokia Software completely, see if that solves the problem of device.

I would also recommend, contact your provider of cellular service to support more.

  • X61s bluetooth and hotkey driver for windows 7

    Salvation;

I installed windows 7 on my x61s, but can not use bluetooth and also could not find the shortcut keyboard/onScreenDisplay drivers. Any idea, these drivers have been released for win 7 or any way to solve the problem of Bluetooth? (other than go back to vista)

    Cheers for any help!

You can find some Win7 beta drivers using the link below. Should find the hotkey software. AFAIK this is the only rider currently available for Win7. Regarding Bluetooth, what features are you missing? Drivers and Bluetooth support should be provided with Win7. Didn't need a separate Bluetooth drivers/software on my Thinkpad to get the bluetooth to work.

  • Portege 4000 conflict between WiFi and Bluetooth on Windows 2000

I recently replaced XP with Win2000 on my Toshiba Portege 4000. I also downloaded the latest drivers from the Toshiba site, using pref to Win2000 and Portege 4000.

When you start the Bluetooth Stack V4.00.30 he wiped out the wireless LAN feature. I know that it is not possible to use Bluetooth and wireless at the same time.

However, it is a permanent disability. During the uninstallation of the Bluetooth stack V4.00.30, wireless comes back to life.
Is there someone who has a fix to this problem?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Just a question: can use you the FN + F8 key combination to switch between WiFi and BT connection?

AFAIK it's between possible and turn on both devices at the same time. In this case, he's shown great caution with content to follow:

Devices Bluetooth and WirelessLAN function in the same radio frequency range and may interfere with each other. If you use Bluetooth devices and WirelessLAN simultaneously, you can sometimes meet optimal network performance or even lose your network connection. In this case, always stop a Bluetooth connection or your WirelessLAN

As I said using the FN + F8 key combination, you should be able to switch between WiFi and BT connection.

  • Tungsten T3 Hot Sync in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and WIndows XP mode

I've upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and now my Palm T3 will not be synchronized.  I downloaded desktop 4.1.4e 6.3 and 4.1.4. I tried all three in both windows 7 and windows XP mode that tells me is a 32-bit o/s but I'm really not sure.  I tried to hot sync in bluetooth in windows 7, as the T3 and laptop connect but he always tells me that the port is used by another program? Does anyone know what I have to do to get it to sync or am I've sentenced to throw my faithful T3 out? Any ideas?

Hello eaglesfan723 and welcome to the forums of Palm.

The Tungsten T3 HotSync driver is not 64-bit capable, this is why you can't get the T3 to HotSync.  Please read this thread to learn more about your options with Windows 7.

  • Still problems with the adapter Bluetooth Toshiba Windows 7

    Hey there, it's me again.

I am referring to my 'Problem Bluetooth on Windows 7' subject:

I thought after the solution of bluecat that my problem has been resolved. But it isn't really.

After you install the Windows fix, it worked just a short time. But now the problem is the same.

When I remove the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and try to work with Manager Bluetooth of Windows, I see that the Bluetooth icon is to come and one to go on the taskbar. In Device Manager, I said Windows, that it is not closed the device to save power. But I think that the device is on and walk and stop...

I really absolutely have no idea what is the problem, but I get terribly angry.

    Details:
    Windows 7
Dell Wireless Bluetooth internal adapter 350 (but it is manufactured by Toshiba)
Experienced pilots: Vista Pack of profile of the Dell homepage (no battery installed, driver only) / Toshiba Bluetooth Stack (the latest version)

    This is the old thread:

    Hi all

Just as I installed Windows 7, my keyboard and Bluetooth mouse do not work very well.

I use the Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth internal adapter, Toshiba Bluetooth Stack 8.00.02 and the keyboard and mouse Logitech MX1000.

To connect the devices on my computer, I first have to disconnect the Bluetooth adapter by pressing Fn + F2 on my Dell i9400, after re-login I can search and connect devices correctly. They work fine as long as the laptop is running.

After restarting the laptop, devices no longer work. They are still in the known, but not connected Bluetooth stack. That's why I have to unplug the adapter Bluetooth, another time and reconnect in order to connect the two devices.

I first thought, it's a Windows problem. I thought that Windows is able to ask the adapter to save power. But when I go to Device Manager, there is no box for this option, as known from other devices (Te USB Ports). If this isn't the problem. I think the problem is something else, maybe performed by the Bluetooth stack.

Windows XP it worked perfectly. I used the same hardware and also the battery Bluetooth Toshiba (uploaded on the homepage of Dell).

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you!

    Daevu

    Hey there

Yesterday I did Format C: and installed Windows 7 news.

I do not have a bluetooth driver for my Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth adapt (made by Toshiba).

And now: the mouse and the keyboard work. I even do not see anywhere in my system, but they work.

There is no bluetooth adapter in my device manager and I had do not connect the keyboard and mouse with my computer. She simply do nothing.

    I do not understand this...

    What is a backup connection?

    What I tried:
-> Installation more recent Bluetooth Stack from Toshiba. Problem in the above message. I also installed the MS Hotfix. The same problem.

-> Installed "Vista profile Pack" on the home page of Dell, recommended for my laptop and Windows Vista. There is no battery installed. So I had to connect the mouse and keyboard via the Windows Bluetooth Manager. But the adapter was performed on and off windows, the icon in the task bar came and went and came and went. Connection is good, 1 minute then a few seconds. Not possible to work with the mouse.

And now, without having to install a driver, it works. Am I stupid?

  • 5701ng HP Jet 7: flight Mode is AS WELL AS Bluetooth and WiFi - why?

My HP Jet 7A (during awhile now, otherwise the whole - not sure how far behind he'll), had the Action Center Flight Mode button 'on' as well as WiFi and Bluetooth on startup in Windows. Flight on this tablet mode seems to have 3 positions after the start and not just on or off. If the flight Mode button is lit with WiFi and Bluetooth as it became after just re-start in the Tablet, if I type a time, flight Mode button stays on (on) and Bluetooth and Wi - Fi will be off (go their gray buttons). Tapping new Flight Mode will make the flight Mode button go off / gray, then Bluetooth and WiFi will come back on - as expected if then, it works as expected but why is airplane Mode on when it starts Windows 10 in the first place.

Did someone else gets this strange behavior of flight Mode?

Ago my 8 stream do the same. Airplane mode is highlighted as well as Wifi and Bluetooth (if enabled).

I went through the fixes as well but no solution. Although Wifi / Bluetooth works fine if the airplane Mode is on or not.

Its not just tablets of HP for this problem. Seems to be a Windows problem. Maybe MS will come out an eventuntually fix.

This is the bluetooth driver you need for this model of the wlan card.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp70501-71000/sp70570.exe

There should be an option of scrolling.

On my HP 350 G1 it was not enabled by default.

I had to go to the control panel and find the Synaptics Luxpad control, which opens and check the functionality of scrolling.
