Bluetooth dongle driver problem
Hi all
I have been using the Microsoft Optical Desktop Elite for Bluetooth (keyboard/mouse combo) for many years. Recently, the USB Bluetooth dongle has stopped working. I checked in Device Manager and I can't see what follows: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »
When I check the details of the driver, it indicates that no driver files have been loaded for the device. Then I tried to update the driver, but automatic and manual searches have not found anything. I connected my laptop with the dongle and it works fine. Based on the details of the driver of the laptop, I was able to identify the drivers and is returned and found on my desktop, but nothing helped. I feel I tried most of the suggestions online, but the Bluetooth still does not work on the desktop.
Anyone else have similar problems or know how to fix this problem? Thank you.

What I wanted was to check updates when you connect the Bluetooth dongle and check if Windows Update find any update for the device under the update option. If it finds one, you can install the update and check.
However, as you have said that your Windows is fully updated. Just to test, try to use the same dongle in any other Windows 7 computer (if possible) and check if it works.

For anyone still having trouble with this adapter in XP x 64 or Vista x 32 / x 64, I found a driver that works perfectly.
It is a MSI driver for their bluetooth adapter of "star key".Before installing this make sure you remove all traces of previous drivers that can be installed. This can be done by clicking with the right button on the device and select uninstall in Device Manager.
If you are prompted, select Delete device drivers in the system.
When it is completed for each bluetooth service, restart the computer and disconnect your computer from the internet - it is to make sure that restart the Windows system not to download and reinstall the device and services.
Now simply launch the installation of the driver package star key, restart and re-establish the internet connection. At the start of that Windows may want to install a generic device, allow it to do.

Bluetooth hands-free audio has a driver problem.

I'm having a problem with my dongle bluetooth and satellite c660-108.
It all works perfectly. It connects devices via bluetooth and I can do whatever I want.But then when I'm mobile stop and turn it on again it will go if the bluetooth dongle is always in the USB.
I see Toshiba screen and then it hangs with a black screen and a cursor flashing at the top left.
I have to turn it off, remove the bluetooth dongle and then turn it back on.
And then windows starts. After that, I put in bluetooth dongle, once again I want to work with her.It isn't a huge problem, but it is a bit annoying when I have to leave the bluetooth and put it back again to get the windows began.
I'm running under win 8.1 but he already had with 8 victory.Anyone any ideas?

Especially the blinking cursor is displayed because the laptop can not find a boot device.It seems that the device cannot put on the HARD drive while the USB dongle is connected.
I would recommend you check the boot order in the BIOS.Put the HARD drive in the first place and the USB boot last device.

The TOSHIBA for Bluetooth ACPI driver update failed
Hi all
I have a P870 running on Windows 7 & until recently BT worked fine, now it doesn't.
When I tried to download the latest version of the driver it says that I have the latest version of the driver.
He also says that the device is functioning properly.It does not recognize my S4 where before he did.

Well, I almost gave up on trying to get the Toshiba Bluetooth stack to work with my QTek PDAphone. The reason is that the stack does not correctly list all the functions of the unit and that is why I can not configure the activesync program uses the correct com port.
Frankly, I'm disappointed that Toshiba has chosen to ship their own implementation of bluetooth special for Windows when Windows has its own.
The question I have is, is it a "correct way" completely remove the supplied bluetooth Toshiba stack (without using the Ghost image before installing it, I did) and get a good Windows bluetooth driver?
Regarding the security of bluetooth, the only security I saw using the Toshiba stack, is that you can actually make works with anything so you're not at additional risk.
P.S. I tested with other devices bluetooth WindowsCE, same problem.
