Hello
I was offered an upgrade of windows 10 on my laptop that is running windows 7, but my wifi button was not working when I installed 10 windows so I started 7 what can I do? It is an Acer Aspire 5920 G (old enough)
Thank you.
There could be a problem with the wifi driver that comes with Windows 10. I think that you first need to find the right driver for Windows 10 on the Acer site. Otherwise, you may need to install a usb wireless card.

I recently created my home network again. It consists of a laptop running windows 7 Professional 64 b, b Office windows 7 Professional 32 running and a netbook under windows xp home. Two computers running windows 7 recognize each other and share correctly, but the netbook will not recognize the other computers on the network at all. They can see it, but then say they can't access them when you are trying to access. They are all on the same workgroup. Computers that run windows 7 discovered the network, file and printer sharing, and public folder sharing all lit. Password sharing is disabled and windows manages the homegroup connections. Any advice would be appreciated, I need to use computer dvd players 7 on the network to install some things on the netbook.

CS5 does not work on the new computer that is running Windows 7
I initially installed my CS5 on a computer running Windows Vista and it worked great. I just got a new computer that is running Windows 7, installed my Adobe Photoshop Elements & CS5 on it, but now it is not working properly. When I click on the triangle to the right at the bottom of any tool, it does not to show the various tools as before. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how to solve it? Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
There are two ways to access the tools hidden in your toolbar in Photoshop:
- Press and hold down the mouse button on a tool that has hidden tools behind it and a window will appear to the right of you show the other available tools.
- ALT-click Windows or Option, click on a Mac on a tool to jump out the window that shows the hidden tools available.

Toshiba Portegee R700-182 running Windows 7 Professional locked up 5 days ago
Toshiba Portegee R700-182 running Windows 7 Professional locked up 5 days ago.
Turned off and then on again. It is now extremely slow current (30 minutes to load the office).
Too slow to load MS Office in normal mode, unusable.
In safe mode it seems to work OK but cannot use MS Office programs in safe mode as the system does not recognize MS Office as legitimate. Suspect a problem with Windows 7, tried to apply updates to windows, but he gets up then encounters an error and cancels the update.
Machine has no SP1 update.
I tried recovery - no help.
I tried sfc/scannow - no problems found.
Is this a common problem with Windows 7? Is there a solution? Is this a virus?
Any ideas anyone?Windows 7 is the safest and most stable Windows yet, but some BONE is totally immune to viruses and other malware. Here are a few things to check.
Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.
-
Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.
`
When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and make it regular periodic updates.

Lexmark z605 printer does not work with the new computer that is running windows 7
I plugged my z605 printer (which I had already used quite happy with Windows XP) on my new PC (running Windows 7 64 bit) via a USB port but it failed to install properly, saying: he could not find the driver.
Action Center directed me to the Lexmark Web site, where he says to download the Vista driver, I did. CjrZ500 - Z600EN.exe downloaded according to the guidelines, but it still does not solve the problem.
I tried to manually point to C:\drivers\printers (which is where the Lexmark program appears to have put it), but received a message "Windows found driver software for your device, but has encountered a problem trying to install it." Lexmark Z500 - Z600 Series, the system cannot find the specified file"
Problem solved. Although the site says that the driver Vista and 64-bit Vista driver were both called cjrZ500 - Z600EN.exe, in fact, select the 64-bit driver download cjsZ500 - Z600EN.exe, that worked!

I uninstalled and reinstalled the update of the software of HP OJ_AIO_4500_G510n-z_Full_Win_WW_140_408 for Windows 8. The HP Solution Center will not complete installation. I went through the installation process 16 times in all conditions. Same results, Center solutions HP shows and error that installation was not complete.
I bet that the first installation has no uninstall completely clean. There may be something stuck in the registry that prevents the installation ended as it should. Try using the brush included in the CD or download.
Starting a download:
1. run the disk cleanup on your computer
2. download and run the software and the drivers below.
Driver and HP Officejet Full Feature software
3. once the download is done retrieve, cancel the download.
4. press on the Windows key + R to bring up the run window.
5. type % temp % in the field of race
6. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
7 open the Util folder
8 open the CCC folder
9. run the L4.bat uninstall_ for computers not HP. For HP computers, run the Uninstall_L3.bat
10. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
11. install an Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
12. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

13 use this tool to clean the system and the registry. Note: This utility is not HP sponsored or approved. HP and I are not responsible for damage or loss of data caused by the utility. This step is optional. You can skip if you want.

HP officejet 6500 e709n NOT connected via usb to a pc running windows xp
I have a hp officejet 6500 e709n connected via usb to a pc running windows xp. It has stopped printing. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer software. Now, when you try to install, I get the screen of "connect your device now' which indicates that the printer is not connected. I've tried different USB ports on the pc with the same result. Has anyone else encountered this situation?
Uninstalled and reinstalled several times and finally got running again. This can be closed.
