Bluetooth of Dell Precision M6500 (WPAN) card

I have a Precision M6500 and were looking for a bluetooth (WPAN) card. I looked on eBay and have searched the web, but does anyone know where you can get.

Thank you

Thank you for your answer but I've seen these on eBay, that I'm looking for can be seen on the manual of Dell for the M6500 precision under "withdrawal of the WPAN card.

  • Precision M6500 heat & shutdown problem

My Precision M6500 has a heat problem... a few things happening:

    1. Several times when Windows 7 updates when I stop for the night, then the next day I turn it on, throw some updates. But fans are going like a bat out of hell and the CPU will completely illuminated and the heat gets way up there in the range of 90 * C.
    2. Recently, after the system is dormant and turn the sytem, it displays a message of warmth and he made a stop. After that the system will test himself, he does not finish and it made an emergency stop down.
    3. Doesn't take much to get fans are going like crazy and for some time, the back of the laptop is extremely hot and never cools.
Call me crazy, but it began to do in the last 8 months, but unfortunately, with current issues of heat that I feel now, it often stops the heat. I notice also svhost runs several instances, one in particular is a system svhost to 210K or more in size... and is not even when I started to do anything.
The other unfortunate thing is that this system is 3 years old now and the media kit is done.

  • Card PCI-6259 is compatible with the Dell Precision 390?

    Hi all

I need help in answering this question.  I want to buy a better computer for my data PCI-6259 acquisition card.  I tried to search to see if the card is compatible with the PC and there's previous numbers with this set-up before other users.  Do you have a link to the list of the DAQ cards with tested PC configurations?  I want to just make sure that when I buy the computer, everything will work without problem because I only have one shot at this.

    Thanks to all in advance.

    Kind regards

    justdomechanicalengineering

    Hello

We do not have a link to specific DAQ board/PC pairings, but the specifications for the Dell Precision 360 indicate that she has three ports PCI 5V which must be compatible with your PCI-6259.

  • Dell Precision M90 recently upgraded to x 64 Win7 can not get correct graphics, stuck with the Standard VGA Graphics Adapter Card

I have a Dell Precision M90 laptop and recently upgraded to Vista 32 bit to 64 bit Windows 7.  Everything worked perfectly, except for my display drivers.  Windows 7 installed a driver called Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.  This driver has a very low resolutions only and cannot deal with games or same Aero.

I had an experience with updated video drivers with Vista.  My graphics card is a NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500 M.  When I had Vista there is no Vista compatible driver for this card, so I used the Geforce 7900GTX driver (which is inspired by the FX 2500 M) and it worked fine.  Of course, the Quadro FX 2500 M doesn't have a driver compatible windows 7.

I downloaded the driver for the 64 - bit Windows 7 Geforce 7 series so I could upgrade and use, however when I used the NVIDIA installer it says that my computer has no compatible hardware for this driver (I tried to install it in Vista compatibility as well).  I tried to force the upgrade by using the option "have disk" and choosing the .inf directly file.  This did not always and said that he could not work because "the selected driver for this device does not support this version of Windows" even if it is the version of Windows 7.

I also tried to start my computer in safe mode, uninstall the VGA Standard driver and then install the driver NVIDIA, but it does not work either.

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to add as much information as possible I hope to solve this problem.  Thank you for taking a look and thanks for your suggestions!

Fixed!  Finally!  Dell.com took the pilot... but the link that they had posted on the page of Precision M90 was mislabeled.  I tried another way, found the good pilot, and got, it works.  Solved the days and days of frusturation.

  • Elgato HD60 Pro card causing "error allocation bar of e/s for pci device" at startup on Dell Precision T7500 (Windows 10 boots well after that freeze but occasionally)

I have a Dell Precision T7500 with two processors, Xeon, 48GB of RAM, and recently I bought a PCI card captures Elgato HD60 Pro for streaming play.

Whenever the card is inserted, I see an error saying to start (after the Dell logo and before Windows loads):

"22/00/0: Error allocating I/O BAR for PCI device.

I have 2 other PCI cards, which I removed and also tried to install the Elgato map on the other 2 slots, but the problem only goes away when the Elgato card is NOT installed.

    Any ideas?

This is not a dell product.

Your Xeon processors are not listed as the min spec core I5 3 rd Gen.

There is no solution for this its the same reason that OLD maps sound and TV Tuner cards also do not work in the latest and most recent machines.

For PCI and PCIe devices, a BAR is a Base address register which is used by the BIOS or the OS to tell the device door on what looks to match its memory resources in. Most of the PCI devices in your system requires a certain amount of memory space, and the BIOS tries to adapt all inferior to 4 GB for compatibility with 32-bit operating systems.

  • (Redirected) Precision M6500-white screen on startup and black screen on reboot

Hello my Precision M6500 has recently begun to behave badly and has following symptoms.

1 display a white screen on market and a black screen on reboot, the OS boots aand, one that can discern by the jingle of windows at the end of the startup procedure.

    2. the unit turns to the insertion of the battery.

In order to isolate the root cause of these issues, I tried the following without success.

    1. replacement memory

    2. new display motherboard cable assembly

3 start with on the SSD on the system, and even at the bios level that the symptoms remain.

Anyone knows similar symptoms with their unit and if what was then the final fix deployed to solve these problems.

The system is running an ATI graphics card I read a little about the black screens in booting with Nvidia cards, can anyone confirm if all the info out there has any application for ATI cards.

  • x 8 connection distance MXI causes conflicts with my on my Dell Precision T3600 PCI slot

    Hi all

The easiest to say is that I am migrating from a x 4 MXI explicit connection to an x 8 MXI express connection and when I do I get an error on the motherboard which is unable to load the single PCI slot.

Error in WIn7 64 bit Device Manager reports a yellow exclamation point

    Device "Intel (r) 82801 PCI Bridge - 244 properties"

The error listed in the device status box: "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

Unfortunately, I need this slot machine to run a card calendar to conjucton with PXI hardware. There is no anomaly when I used the x 4 connections with virtually the same loadout except for one Exchange a PXI-5122 (x 4 config) to SMU 5122 (x 8 config).

If I leave the MXI PCIe card in but do not connect to chassis PCI slot SMU (and the fine card appear.)

If I remove the PCI card into the slot, the error still occurs.

I swapped the x 8 card and NVidia graphics card without success (the 16 x only two slots).

I photographed the reader and removed the H310 Dell PERC RAID card and charged the RAID array RAID integrated Intel C600 and still no change.

I have updated BIOS to A07 to latest A08.

I updated the Intel Chipset at the latest on the Dell Web site.

I guess that I just wonder at this point if someone is able to run a x 8 MXI express at SMU with a Dell Precision T3600, T5600 or a T7600 chassis.

NI MAX report is attached as a text file.

After much work by NI Applications Engineer Kyle K, this problem has been resolved.

I'll post the solution to this PC dependent problem here, just in case it will help others in a similar situation.

It seems that Dell sometimes uses one default BIOS quite restrictive on the number of PCI bus in these (and other). By allowing several PCI bus, you will be able to list all the devices in the sacrifice of some memory available for OS 32 bit running on 4 GB of RAM. No problem for me because I'm under 64 bit OS.

Congratulations to Kyle even if he has not posted here yet for him give real congratulations.

  • Dell Precision 7710 with NVIDIA Quadro M5000M problems with 3D WPF content

    I have a

    Dell Precision 7710

    6920HQ-i7 CPU @ 2.9 GHz

    32 GB of Ram

    Windows 7 Pro Sp1

NVIDIA Quadro M5000M 369.49 driver version

I bought an upgrade for my

    M6700 Precision

Our company has developed and uses software that uses WPF to render 3D content in a XBAP in Internet Explorer.  When I try to use it on the 7710, 3D content flickers when it is redrawn, makes it almost unusable.  The stats we can get our application, we can see that time of update for refreshment / current is about 45ms, while on most of the other PC, even those using the integrated Intel graphics card, typically 12ms.

We used this software on a large number of PC without feeling anything as bad, which is obviously quite disappointing because the laptop should be able to view we want to hassle.

As far as I can tell all our drivers for everything on this laptop are up-to-date.

We tried using the NVIDIA Control Panel to force the laptop to use the High Performance Nvidia Quadro rather than the graphics card integrated card and it seems to be made while we were able to do, it shows the icon in the taskbar notification and which showed that IE was using the Nvidia.

I tried tweaking pretty much all other settings I can think / see.

I tried to use the Dell Precision optimizer to select different profiles with no luck.  The Dell Precision optimizer seems not really demonstrate the use of the GPU processor or any other stats to see with the GPU, which seems odd to me.

I ran Diagnostics on the laptop available on the Dell support site.

I searched the net and found a few examples of problems with Nvidia and WPF cards, but none of these things that we found seems to apply to our application.  We have desktop computers at the office where he works well with other Nvidia cards / best of all.

In addition, the fan on the 7710 will quite difficult sometimes - hard that I expect.  I tweaked the power settings to move less, but it always seems to run the fan more that I think it should / would appear on my M6700 - or maybe it's just a fan of stronger.

    So I wonder:

If anyone out there has experienced something similar?  If so, any suggestions on how to fix or things to try would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

We solved the problem by making changes in our application software.  We still don't seem to be able to reach the same FPS as for the other GPU, which should be similar, but we're working on that also.  Perhaps because we are trying to run the application at 4K.  If anyone has a similar laptop and can provide details on the 3D graphics performance using any software comparative analysis, it would be great if they could share for comparison.

  • Dell Precision T3500 and SPDIF Port

    Hello

I'm in the market for a new computer because my old HP died and I really like the Dell Precision T3500. I would like to put one of my old graphics card in the new Precision T3500, a Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT because it has a HDMI port on it and I want to drive my television station. However, have sound out of the HDMI on the Geforce port, you must connect an SPDIF cable on the Geforce to the SPDIF port on the motherboard. Is my question, there a SPDIF port somewhere on the motherboard in a Precision T3500? I looked but I have never seen a list of anywhere. Thank you very much for the help!

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for looking in the Precision T3500 computer next and we hope that you don't end up buying one!

That said, I must not be the bearer of some bad news that this system is not equipped with an SPDIF port on the motherboard. A possible solution would be to buy a sound card has a SPDIF connection and then connect the graphics card to that. Of course, it would take one of your PCI/PCI-Express slots.

I hope that answers your questions - if there is anything else, please let me know!

  • 4 TB drive added for dell precision t7400 but does detect that 2 TB

    Hello everyone,

We had a Dell Precision T7400 running windows 7 Professional SP1 and we have added a new hard drive (4to), but it does detect that 2 TB of disk (already placed the GPT disk).

I read in another post that I started to update the SATA drivers?

    Is this correct?

    Where are the SATA drivers?

    Thank you.

    Best regards.

The drive is connected to the motherboard or are they connected to a controller card? The T7400 controllers (SAS 6/iR, PERC 6 / i) do not support disks larger than 2 TB. If it is connected to the motherboard, you must update the Intel RST drivers:

  • Dell Precision T3600 problem with feedback headphones

    Hi all

I recently acquired a new Dell Precision T3600 (in January 2013). However, I got a problem with your comments when I insert earphones into the headphone jack on the front of the office. The noise can be described as a sizzling/humming noise that is loud to the point that it is too distracting to listen to the audio through it. You can hear in the headphones, however, comments are always present and distracting. I also used several different headphones to exclude that, as the problem.

I'd love to hear from others if it is a common problem with this system. I've read elsewhere that it could be a problem with the graphics card from NVIDIA, but I'm not sure.

    Kind regards

I tried several times with the same result. No beeps and I couldn't tell what were the diagnostic lights that you see in the video. I hit the power supply test button on the back and the LED is green indicating no power problem. I removed the RAM and just put 2 DIMM back in, tried a different video card. Removed the Firewire card. Removed the second CPU, swapped the second processor in place of the first. Reset the CMOS. I tried to unplug the hard drives, diskettes and optical. I monitor the temperatures of the last two days, inactive to 39 processors, but never greater than about 52C, the video card is idling to 36 c and will enter in the 1960s during the comparative analysis, but remains in the 1940s with regular use.
