Ok. So on my desktop (Windows XP Home Edition, VPR Matrix) and my laptop (Windows 8.1, ASUS X200CA) I'm having a problem removing an icon on the desktop... I don't want to send it to the trash or uninstall the program on my desktop, I added the Solitare icon by mistake and so I threw it in the trash, so when I clicked on it from the start menu, she appeared with an error message saying "Windows is looking for . You want to find yourself? "and two buttons saying 'Browse' and 'Cancel '. If I clicked on cancel, he would say "the file has probably been moved, renamed, or deleted." I don't want on my desk! I have, however, a widget of Roxio Drag-to-disc, and so what I do sometimes is I did drag the icon of Solitare behind the widget, but most of the time I move the widget. On my laptop, I accidentally added Microsoft Office by accident and I have no Office. How can I get it my office!

You can right click to remove, it's your computer, and you can do whatever you want :)

  • Some gaps in the understanding of the Bluetooth utility

    The system used is
-Chip Bluetooth of CSR, BT 2.0 between BDUS operating with a Toshiba BT stack, all on ASUS laptop
-Nokia mobile phone, no smartphone with features of BT

More Bluetooth Toshiba utility includes among others
    Exchanger casablenca Bluetooth
    Wireless file transfer
According to the Bluetooth utility user guide both of these seem to use
    BT services/profiles
    FTP and OPP, BIP
I can run and use these two components without any problems with my Nokia phone.
In fact, in regards to the component of its 'file transfer' function only wireless file transfer works.
"It is not possible to run here"Image transfer"and" transfer of the objects '. "
So this Nokia don't seem to support the OPP and BEEP.

However, if you want to connect to my mobile Nokia phone in custom Mode the
reports to the BT Utility suite services/device profiles
    -dial-up networking
    -Network access point
    -serial interface, Nokia PC Suite
    -serial COM1

Why the profile service FTP is not on this list?
"The network access point" official BT profile this point corresponds to?
Perhaps to LAN Zugang zum profile LAP? If so, why BT utility does not use the official
the name of this service profile?

Many mobile phones support OPP or FTP.
Smartphones often agree also to BEEP.
Right click on your phone icon in the 'interchange of Information Bluetooth"
and select "Service Discovery". Now you should get a response to
your question if this function is supported.

Why the profile service FTP is not on this list?
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-FTP does not any installation. There is no need to show this in the Setup Wizard.
However a link to the wireless file transfer tool will be displayed if the device does not have any other Bluetooth service profiles to offer.

"The network access point" official BT profile this point corresponds to?
Perhaps to LAN Zugang zum profile LAP? If so, why BT utility does not use the official
the name of this service profile?
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Please note that there is a difference between:
Access LAN, PAN user profile profile profile of generic network PAN and PAN profile of network access point
So to answer your question: "Network Access Point" refers to a PAN network access point profile

  • Update for Toshiba Bluetooth Stack from v5 to v8

I have laptop ASUS Z96Js (4.5 years). As a driver bluetooth for him had Toshiba Bluetooth Stack v5, but on Windows 7, I used the default drivers (I think because Toshiba Stack v7 was not compatible with Win 7 I discovered once again today).

Recent'y I had connection problems Gigabyte M7700B bluetooth mouse. That's why I discovered that it compatible with Win 7 new releases for Toshiba Bluetooth Stack v8 there and decided to try that. But when I install it I am informed that the trial period and I have to buy a license key.

Given that I was not asked or informed v5 license I guess he had a cable or something.

According to the information [here | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=enduser-info] license is somehow related to the material:
Question: The Bluetooth stack license is tied to the Bluetooth hardware?
    Answer:-Yes, it is.

Question: What is the battery for the end users?
    Answer:
-C' is a free update for all customers who already own a license for end user.

So the questions is was there any license for Toshiba Bluetooth Stack v5? If so, why I am not able to use the new version?

You understand that you use to Toshiba laptop no so I guess you're battery Toshiba BT with valid license by the manufacturer of your laptop.

Now, you are using Windows 7 and use the last stack of Toshiba BT. Have you installed old version BT you first and then installed ASUS last stack of BT from Toshiba?
If I understand you right forces you do update but own BT v8 installation, right?

  • Satellite A665 - 13W WIFI slow when activated Bluetooth

I have hit a problem with WIFI performance and need help to find the solution.

I have Satellite A665-13W with wireless Broadcom 802.11n network adapter and use the latest BIOS and drivers (for Broadcom is version 5.60.48.35). The laptop connects to my router and can reach network high speed, but then long time ago when there is no flow of data over network connections. These shortcomings last several seconds and occure probably 3 times per minute. This makes services like Skype unusable because for a while, I have good network connection, allowing you to make a video call even but quality then connection drops less than 1 Mbps (in fact hold) so even audio is not working and call either disconnects or connection back to full speed for about 10 seconds until what the quality decreases again.

I tried different routers (802. 11 g, and 802.11n) and the problem persists. I tried to measure the performance of data transfer on LAN and found that the problem is not only related to my internet connection. I have tried other laptops and their connection works fine, so the problem lies in the Satellite A665-13W and its wireless adapter. In the end, I found that the problem is related to activated Bluetooth which is necessary for the connection of a wireless mouse.

If bluetooth is disabled the WIFI performance is good and there is no delay in the transfer of data.
If bluetooth is enabled (but no bluetooth device is connected or prominent) WIFI performance is severely degraded. Performance degradation is some expected when Bluetooth is used, but what is not acceptable, it is that no data shall not be transferred for a period of several seconds and even in the case where no bluetooth device is actually connected.

My other laptop (Asus, Lenovo) do not have such a problem and can transfer data via WIFI streaming even if the Bluetooth mouse is connected to them and used. So it's clear the Toshiba laptop to malfunction.

I tried to deactivate the energy saving network adapter wireless, but with no impact on performance.

Is there a newer driver that can solve the problem? I can't solve the problem of some network card settings? Network card can be replaced to solve the problem (for laptop is under warranty)?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Best regards
    Jakub

    Hello

    > Is there a newer driver that can solve the problem?
Well, I can't say with certainty if the driver update should solve your problem, but I think that it s worth a try. You should try to update the driver WLAN and Bluetooth. You can find updates on the following pages:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

Also define the power WLAN mode for each profile of saving power for maximum performance which is not power save.

Using the version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba or your own installation? If you use your own test of Windows with factory settings please. Just to make sure that it s not to deliver any software.

Not least have last but you installed a software/driver for this Bluetooth mouse?

  • Am new AC card, can I use an old for Bluetooth

OK, the title pretty much sums up my question.  I got this ASUS wireless adapter

    http://www.ASUS.com/us/networking/PCEAC68/Gallery/

and a new router Netgear Nighthawk.  My question isn't about setting them up, but so far I have not seen mentioned BlueTooth.  My computer, an HP Envy 700-216 apparently uses a wireless card it's a 150 MB/s, which also manages the Bluetooth.

So my question is, can I keep the old card in and somehow configure it to the Blue Tooth in the computer function, while leaving my new AC map serve as the wireless adapter, using the "AC"?  And if so, how do you think I would accomplish this?

Or do I just remove it?  Is it possible to disable only the wireless portion, without disabling the Bluetooth?
