Bluetooth Stack STOP system

Hi, new poster (so play nice, please).

I'm developing an application using the Toshiba Bluetooth stack (Verson 5.10.14) and I get a few other quirks and STOP errors. (The test machine is a new Panasonic Toughbook own under WinXP Pro SP2, but I can get this on my PC also developing.)

I think it's the battery from Toshiba as a WinDbg the points of discharge to be tosrfcom.sys (0x44_tosrfcom BUCKET_ID + a474). It's like the Toshiba stack is not completely thread-safe.

I can get it, use a simple serial port and conecting/logout code using the window "Bluetooth settings".

The STOP is MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS but I never more than one (from my code at least, the battery...?) connection of the battery.

I also have a little easier problems while driving the RFCOMM using C++ code. He tries several times [re] connect but he is STILL waiting until the message CONNECT_ERROR before trying again - maybe because it is happening faster?

It can generate the foregoing or an IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL STOP, or even damage the battery of the program (zero stack pointer) or my 'this' pointer (zero once again). It is interesting (?), there normally has just finished a call in a thread and returns to the thread's message loop.

Any Toshiba autour who has ideas? I watched this on the web and sent the details (via another subsidiary of Toshiba) but maybe, just maybe, someone might have an idea.

Thanks for reading, sorry if I confused everyone and no way I'm whinging - as a developer, I KNOW how diffcult it is to write the code of the test of the bombs!

Hello James

At first, I have to say you are welcome on this forum, but at the same time, I must say that your problem is a little. different and I really don't think you are here on the right place. To be honest I really hope someone will be able to discuss with you, but reading similar questions in the past, I think that you will have bad luck in this respect.

As you know, Toshiba offers this software to use and that's the end of the story. Your question will be perhaps interesting for Toshiba Department of software development where you can write or speak with professionals but here on this forum for users...

Unfortunately, I can't help you but I just wanted to say that I'm pretty sure no one of Toshiba will post here on such things.

In any case I wish you good luck and I hope I've been nice ;)

Unfortunately, this model laptop has a Broadcom bluetooth device or a device of Atheros.

Try to install the Atheros driver first because it is more common.  If it isn't an Atheros card, Setup HP rejects the update indicating no match of material.

If this isn't Atheros, install the Broadcom bluetooth driver.

  • How to uninstall TOSHIBA Bluetooth Stack and all the drivers?

Hello! I installed TOSHIBA Bluetooth Stack of [here | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download] or, more precisely of the [here | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download-toshiba] (8.00.12 |) Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / Windows 7 x 32 | Multilanguage) (_I have windows xp_). I tried to connect my phone with it, but it didn't work the way I expected.

As I did not, I tried to uninstall, but I had problems there too. :( I was able to uninstall it from the Control Panel / Add-Remove programs and I also uninstalled in Device Manager, but it does not work too.

It is more drivers, and they are all on my system: in my departure much I option 'connect too', in the Panel, I "Bluetooth Local COM" and Bluetooth devices Manager also lights up while windows starts... I had to remove all those things, but I don't know how? Help, please!

Also, if someone could explain to me how to transfer data through your Toshibas Bluetooth, that would be nice too - in this case I would not uninstall it. Only in this case when it seems useless to me, these drivers are only bothers me. They spread throughout the system as someone wanted to hurt me! xD

Thank you once again, people! :)

    * EDIT *: I now have to stop bluetooth manager executed departure while windows starts, so now it's less a problem. I don't particularly want some unnecessary processes slow down my computer. On the other hand, there is a problem that I have not mentioned - the computer restarts it self without reason in some cases. However, it seems that these reboots are associated with uninstalling programs - especially during attempts to uninstall toshiba bluetooth stack. Anyway I'll examine this reboot problem a bit more tomorrow perhaps it relates only to install/uninstall these drivers toshibas.

the reason for the change: I forgot to say certain things

I use laptops Toshiba and Toshiba BT for years and I've never had no problem to connect my mobile phone using the BT software. I use it mainly to transfer data (photo made by mobile phone).
It is so easy to make the connection between the computer laptop and phone so I n t understand why you have all these problems.

If you n t need it disable Autostart BT software.

    You have for Toshiba laptop?

  • The Bluetooth stack service error

I have a desktop HP Pavilion h8 - 1260t with Windows 7 64-bit and 32-bit.  Suddenly an error keeps popping up informing that my Bluetooth stack service does not work.  Don't know why it stopped.  Can you help me?  The only things I've done since I bought this desktop computer is using Norton 360 v5 and Microsoft Windows Update.

Does that tell you that you have a system dual boot?

Access Services (Start Menu-> Search-> Services.msc) and start the Service 'Bluetooth Stack. Make sure you have BTStack.exe and BTTray.exe are running.

  • Satellite A300-1QD - "Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba" will not be installed

    Hello

My system: Vista 64 Home Premium

I already have the option for bluetooth devices in my Systemcontroll, but no device is shown.
So I downloaded official Toshiba Bluetooth stack. At first, it seems that everything is fine, but after the second window, when RFBUS is installed and shown in the popup system that it is redy for use, the installation will stop. I don't know what to do? If I cancel the installer at this point, the installer said that the installation has been successfully and I should restart my system. Done, but no device.

If I install the Bluetooth monitor too, I can connect to my mobile phone.

Do I need the monitor? What is my fault on the battery Installation?

If you are using an external Bluetooth USB adapter that is not Toshiba, then use the Bluetooth software supplied by the product.

Do you use an internal Bluetooth module or a USB Bluetooth Toshiba adapter then I recommend the following?
    -Remove the "Bluetooth Monitor" software.
    -Remove the Toshiba Bluetooth stack.
-Version of stack Bluetooth download the x 64 of the last battery Bluetooth.
-Install the battery Toshiba Bluetooth. Make sure that you do not cancel any window during the installation. Be patient.
-Do not use the Bluetooth Control Panel icon. It is still available, but you can not always use.
-To start the battery Bluetooth just double click on the Bluetooth system tray icon or run it by double-clicking
    Start-> programs-> Toshiba-> Bluetooth-> Bluetooth settings

  • Impossible to install Toshiba Bluetooth stack

    Hello

A few days ago, I bought a Bluetooth adapter, the drivers I have recived with is Toshiba Bluetooth stack v3.03.26.
I tried to install it as it says in the manual, but every time the installation stops at 56% (for several hours) until I cancel it. I tried to insall drivers manually through the Device Manager, but whenever I get to the part that I have to choose the file Tosrfusb.inf, it is said that the INF has no information on my hardware. I looked for the identification of the Bluetooth - VID_0A12_0001 adapter and it the same as in the Tosrfusb.inf.
I have XP SP2, the adapter works very well with the defult SP2 drivers, but I can't use all of its features with these drivrs. I tried to use your latest drivers v4.20.01 withuot no success.

    What should I do?

    Hello

do not use the latest drivers on the TOSHIBA site, as these work just 30 days with your dongle.
I guess there could be a propblem with the stack of BT MS installed on your system, which can prevent/interruption installation TOSHIBA BT Stack.
So first of all, you should try to get rid of the stack of BT Ms.
    1 prevent the stack of BT MS reinstall: [START]-[RUN]-[move %systemroot%\inf\bth.inf % systemroot%\inf\bth.i]
    2. after that, he must remove the following registry keys: {you set permission first... right click on the registry key-> permissions...}
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\B TH
    and
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\B LENUM
    3. after that, remove the MS Bluetooth Device Manager devices
4 reinstall battery of BT from TOSHIBA
    ==> It should work now

There is a further point which could prevent the TOSHIBA BT Stack install correctly: you have installed a virtual Compote (USB2serial, mobile phone on the PC?) If Yes, remove this virtual COMport before install the BT from TOSHIBA stack.

  • Bluetooth has stopped working on my Satellite P105-S9722

I have a Satellite P105-S9722 and everything seems fine except the occasional extreme overheating it stops. In any case, my blutooth has stopped working.

Here's what I've done so far:

1 formatted, reinstalled clean (running the toshiba Vista business upgrade)
2 tried to use the most recent bluetooth Vista drivers fron this site & Blutooth monitor 3 w / stack windows

I tried several times without success. Here's what's happening.

When I install toshiba stack, it is all the way to the grip and "install bluetooth driver". I get an error message on a USB device unknown who breaks down and will not be installed. It is under the TouchChip Fingerprint coprocessor. In addition, with the Bluetooth Monitor 3 installed, has no "BLUETOOTH" category in ther CP to set properties

That's all. It hags just here and bogs of the bridge I have to restart the system.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

If the laptop is overheated, you must remove the dust from the radiator. You can use a can of compressed air to blow off the dust.

Have you tried to use the battery Microsoft Bluetooth standard instead? To use it, you must uninstall the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, then just install the Bluetooth screen

  • Problem installing Bluetooth stack

    Hi all
    my laptop is Satellite M70-192.
I have recently reinstalled the system (XP Home SP3) and I have everything running and work outside Bluetooth. I got rid of almost all Toshiba pre-installed software, leaving only the Hotkey Utility.
I downloaded the latest official driver from Toshiba site and installation works correctly until the seal of window opens and the installation will stop just at this moment. The only thing I can do is to click Cancel. After that, I get the message that Bluetooth stack has been installed successfully on my computer and I can see the software on a list of Add / Remove Programs, but also a new entry in all the programs/Toshiba/Bluetooth. But when I click on any Bluetooth file for example Bluetooth settings I get the same attached installation window trying to Finnish the process and again, I can click only cancel because it won't.
For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

By BT battery installation is important to activate WLAN and WIFI switch on position I.
Later, it can happen that the installation must be completed and do it when the BT module is successfully activated.
It can be done by using the FN + F8 key combination.

  • On a 1100sa Pavilion DM4 how prevents one error message: unable to start Bluetooth stack service?

I have a HP Pavilion DM4 1100sa, p/n: XE139EAR #ABU, a serial no: CNU1220Z75. I bought it about 2 weeks ago. Shortly after he stopped hibernating when I closed the lid and the fingerprint reader was also very intermittent, also error message unable to start Bluetooth stack service popped up after the computer has been rebooted and after startup of Internet Explorer... My own attempts to remedy that does not so I called your 0844 3690369 number and possibly your man said that the only option was to do a complete restore of the system. For this I made and then reinstalled my commercial software such as M/S Office 2010, Adobe Photoshop elements 9 etc.

The error (see above) again reappeared and the fingerprint reader was still intermittent, also my Bluetooth mouse is not connected. Yet once, my own attempts to cure these problems have failed, including playback of your pages in the forum, so I phoned again, everything seems to be resolved but the initial problems and the subsequent, reappears.

So I made an another System Recovery on Thursday, July 26, 2012. I did a full defragmentation and wiped the free space on the hard drive. This time, the only problem that occurs is the error message failed to start Bluetooth stack service. Yet once it appears only after a computer reboot and start Internet Explorer.

I am very reluctant to spend another hour, or so, on the phone so I want your best and hopefully correct advice on how to avoid this very annoying message from popping up.

    Mike

We will uninstall the system Broadcom bluetooth driver and that's it.

We will not install another driver for this device instead.

  • Attempts to installation of Windows 7 Service Pack (x 64) leads to "Bluetooth Stack Server" "AppCrash": no wireless connectivity possible!

I realize that my question is about the hardware and drivers that are not Microsoft, but all the trouble seems to begin with the fact that the latest version of Windows Update attempts.

I have reset the settings of update on "Automatic" after missing the guests of installation, leading to several attempts installation of Windows 7 Service Pak for x 64-based systems.

On installation/configuration logoff never surpassed ~ 10% during "installation failed, returning from changes" message appeared before the shutdown.

On reboot, the error message: "Bluetooth Stack server has stopped working", problem report Details indicate: "AppCrash".

Today, for the first time in ~ a year, brought my HP Probook 4530 s to a reliable wifi hotspot 2011: "no public network detected" appeared, everyone had no problem.

The "centre mobility Windows", which usually has a box indicating the status of LAN wireless, had this box is completely missing.

Check the two Bluetooth and Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (devices used for internet connectivity?) indicate that "the drivers are up to date" and "this device works correctly.

I am running Windows Security Essentials and Malwarebytes AntiMalware.  Also recently installed the free version of SpyBot, run a daily scan.

I've never really had any problem/detection of serious virus/malware that I'm aware of.  Windows 7 has been well up to this point.

Also tried a system restore to BEFORE the Service Pack update attempt: it had no effect on the detection of wireless connectivity or a connection.

If anyone can describe a troubleshooting chart that might allow me to again connect to a wifi hotspot, I would be very grateful.  Thank you.

I should finally a solution to my inability to access a local signal of the WiFi for my laptop.

As stated in my first post of the question, the problem started after a sudden error message "Bluetooth Stack Server."

All the remedies, I've tried are listed above.

This HP laptop came with a general diagnosis called HP Support Assistance program.

Recently, I downloaded a new version of this program.

For the first time, an icon appears in the taskbar for the "HP Connection Manager", which indicates the activation state of all wireless and Bluetooth devices.

The following State scored to WiFi (Wireless LAN): "disabled in BIOS F10.

Since I was able to connect to a WLAN before the Bluetooth Stack Server error, this setting IS ENABLED: it was not "manually" disabled.

I entered the system BIOS via F10 during boot and the following path:

"System configuration" > "Integrated device Options" > "LAN/WLAN SWITCHING" > select 'ON'.

Rebooted the laptop normally, a check for HP Connection Manager "indicated"enabled"for the wireless LAN setting, and"Windows Mobility Center"was now a visible box for WLAN/LAN status."

I don't know how or why the BIOS for this parameter settings were off.

Please mark this issue as resolved, with this post as the answer.  Thanks for your suggestions.
