Blurred when customers repost

Hello

I ran across what I know is a simple problem to solve the other day; Although I don't know how.

I shot an event for a client and the images came out fantastic.  Here is an example of image.

BluesGals_800BlantonRd_06252016-191.jpg

I put the images on my drive of google.  The images were 300 DPI and the longest side was 2500px when exporting from Lightroom.  The client downloaded the images and then published on their Facebook page.  When I saw the images they looked at a lower resolution than the images that I gave them and Im not sure why.  Same image after you have downloaded and posted on Facebook below...

Blues Gals_looks low res.jpg

This loss of quality is not acceptable to me is that I go to commercial work.  Please leave comments, feedback, lessons learned.   Very much appreciated.

If your image on Google drive seems OK then it a problem and limiting the upload to Facebook.  Your export was very good.

  • Great Photos in Lightroom 6 are blurred when exported to Facebook

Ok. So I am new to using the Mac OS and Lightroom 6. I get a kick out of editing my photos and they come out well. However, when I export my photos in a folder of the Office they come out blurry. When I'm in Lightroom, I can zoom in on certain aspects and they are clear, but when I export, they are very blurred when I Zoom. What happens on Facebook also. I always select high quality when you import into Facebook. Can someone give me a very basic step by step on how to set up my options for export with Lightroom 6 on Mac OS.

Try the quality of 90 and a size larger than 640 pixels.

Your original is 5600 x 2800 pixels and is 100% quality.  You export to 640 x 320 pixels and 50% quality.  What did you expect to happen with these settings?

I should probably add that if you are a committed photographer and the export of small and low quality of the evidence if the client cannot simply upload photos of good quality and not pay you for them, then ok, but then why do you ask why they are blurred, if they are supposed to be pretty fuzzy to be useless to the client.

  • Background blur when you change view States

    Hello
I'm a newbie to Flex and pretty ropey to actionscript too after spending her last forever, Director of works. In any case, I was asked to evaluate Flex and I just upward with a simple case study application. So far, there has been some headaches, but I think I'm getting there. One thing I would like to know is how to blur the background, I'm sure I've seen this done on some sites, but can't quite see how to do it. So far, I have a component of the fabric along the top of the scene with three buttons in there. I have created 3 new States in each of them and display, I changed the height of the canvas element. I added a transition that animates the change of height of the canvas when switching between views. What I want, it's everything under this canvas to blur when it is not in the initial state, if it makes no sense.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    Rob.

AHA, sorted. Just had to get my head around the "targets" feature in the definition of the effects of transitions. Just need to best layout my design to simplify the targeting.

  • Web images are blurred when exporting to PDF

We constantly place web (72 dpi) images in InDesign presentation documents, then export the PDF file for our customers. However when the PDF file is exported it makes images to 72 dpi blurred. I tried all combinations to export the PDF file I can think is to say high quality printing, change of compression to zero, change of color of the images "Do not downsample", export to interactive PDF and change the resolution etc and it always seems to compress my images every time.

    Any ideas?

Note: The only way I found it is to recreate the images in the form of 150ppi however need an another solution because they must be 72 dpi.

    Thank you

Acrobat displays the default images to 96 DPI system.

In Acrobat, go into preferences and under the Page display, you can insert a custom resolution that will probably solve your problem.

Note that this is an individual setting, other computers may not have this together.

  • UHD Lenovo y50 screen blurred when on a 1080 p resolution

    Hello world

I recently bought a Lenovo Y50 UHD. The UHD resolution is good, but some programs appear too small.

I change the resolution of 1920 x 1080, but she seems to have a blur on the screen.

I have a Lenovo Y50 touch with a 1080 p screen and when I compare the two TI is not the same quality.

Text look a little blurry, etc. Screen spend usually blurred.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

    Thank you

N ° if reduce you the resolution, several pixels will be used to represent a single one, which will cause the blur effect, which means that you need to run everything in UHD.

  • The videos are blurred when recording a DVD or a hard drive, but in Windows Movie Maker

I converted videos from my Flip HD MP4 to MP3 Mini to allow me to use them in Windows Movie Maker.  When I play my movie in WMM, everything is great!  When I burn on a DVD or save it in another way outside WMM images and music are perfect, but the videos are grainy and blurred to the point where you don't see any!  When I converted them, I used an AVI format as it was the only one who has produced clear videos for download.

  • The icons are blurred when size large.

Recently, I've migrated to W7 from XP and the difference is everything to do huh... shock... Out of the box, it takes a little tinkering before it becomes bearable. One of the settings that I need is linked to icons.

When the icons are huge (although probably 'normal size' for other people) they look washed out; not crispy. But when they are small, they look like if they were designed by an Impressionist painter. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the Impressionist paintings... in a Museum of fine arts. But I need clarity on my computer (just a tool). Old W3.11 icons can appear very 'yucky' and 'old fashioned' and maybe not to everybodys taste, but at least they were clear.

For example: the 'Open folder' icon in a file Explorer resembles a yellow arrow pointing upwards and left disorder. (It took me a few days and another computer where the icons were huge to know that it was supposed to be a folder on the open side and sligtly). The icon of a zipped file is just a blur (a bit like an injection of ICT). A text file icon is just a white field with light grey edge that is barely visible or recognizable. Microsoft Office icons can be identified by their colors. But any other program that uses a fuzzy green icon could easily be confused with Excel...

    What I've done so far:
-Check the calibration of the screen color, contrast, and brightness of the screen. I used to work with images and not easily convinced, but increases the clarity of icons ruined space color photos, so it wasn't an option.
-Clean the screen. Not really necessary, given that I don't have a touch screen and use the mouse pointer to point to something on the screen and not a greasy finger.
    -Cleaned my glasses... No improvement.
-Also, I checked my sight, and even if I don't probably are not eligible as a fighter pilot is about right.

Then... Here's the question, and beware that on the computer on which I work: I don't have the admin rights.

-Can I exchange all the default icons (folders, files, text, files, programs, etc.) for crisp and clear icons?
-If Yes, how can I do that?

    Thank you

PS: Increasing the size of the icon is not an option... I.m.h.o. it's just a waste of valuable space!

    I have it!

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

In order to have sharp crisp icons: the font to 100% settings you NEED
Adjustment of the police of the superior results of adjustment in Fuzzy icons. Checked!

If the fonts in the menus are too small, then go into the control panel-personalization-> choose the color of the window and start clicking on follow-up to the 'window color and appearance' me to adjust the fonts of all menus to your liking.

In numerous menu now fonts will increase... However: there are a lot of dialog boxes and places that will always show a smaller font size? For example: just press 'Start' in the lower left corner.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

In my - probably not if - humble opinion, Microsoft could do that much easier...
Just make the size of the icons regardless of the font size!
(And Yes, I program a bit myself and am aware that can screw things up (allocation of space, the alignment of the text and icons, etc.), but these can probably be repaired by one or two lines of code).

Given that I don't see anything menus native windows for me is kind of correct... I'll make that a test. Some heavier style modding is required to fix those windows errors, that may be feasible at home, but not at the office...

    Thanks for all the help!

  • Why is a still image blurred when playing but clear when I stop it?

I'm doing a video on a collection of still images.  This is a tribute video, essentially, and I am trying to brighten up pan and zoom of documentary style.  I imported all the images I want to use in my media folder and add them on my calendar.  When I hit 'play', suddenly blurred images, but when I then 'put on hold', they come back to be clear.  No idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix this?

    Thank you very much

    Brian

Somehow, that did the trick.  When I exported the video and watched in a media player, the problem was gone.  I guess I'll just trust it will work this way in the future and that the blurring persists only in the first view.

Very strange.  Thank you much for the help.

  • LOGFF triger does not run when customers end abnormally

    Here's a triger to logoff:

    create or replace TRIGGER scott.before_logoff_trg

If customers come out normally, it is executed (just delete some rows in a table). But if the customers is crushed, the triger will not run.

Is there a way I can run code pl/sql, when a client log normal or abnormal?

I'm working on an application for the edition of map of GIS, which should allow several users to edit the same map. Client A and B change the different parts of the map, but that they would like to see the result of the other. Change operations are stored which will be inserted in the staging table. When a customer edit, he must choose to save or ignore for this time editing operations. If he has abandon the changes, it has no impact on others, because these changes are useful for others, but not very important.

No effect? Unless Customer B made a decision based on what he saw of A, make a change based on what he saw of A, so he saw has went, destroy the basis of its decision and action...

Well Yes, as I said above...

Which suggests that client B can act on something that is not yet truly engaged in the process of the company. This sounds like a serious gap in the business process and therefore the database design.

Yes, it seems that the question should the cropping - how to allow collaborative editing of GIS data within maps that allows changes to be resistant and modified before to be published?

This sounds like the O/P is in need of a kind of shared workspace that can be superimposed on an existing map changes without making public changes. The workspace must be shared between multiple users at the same time. Turns in the workspace would be committed and those changes, once accepted (and closed maybe?) must be published in the underlying plan so that everyone can see. If they are not published, they remain in the workspace.

The idea of catering to an abnormal termination seems largely unnecessary if there is a concept of workspace. If a user ends abnormally, when they reconnect, they may choose to reuse the existing workspace or create a new. The old workspaces that have not been touched for x time could be archived or purged.

This does not seem withdrawn too far from what the op said here...

Change operations are stored which will be inserted in the intermediate table

He thinks that it is mainly a question of changing the process...

  • High quality, intact logo blurs when inserted into Photoshop PDF

    Hi all

Had problems with this mega. I create a 'label' for the work to be used as a tool to promote using my old Photoshop CS2. I created a PDF file and manually inserted all the text and insert my logo by dragging the layer on the PDF. When I print, the text comes out perfectly clear and the logo is still blurry. I tried to resize 100 ways different and even created a brand new logo, where I ran into the same problems. If I print the entire label format JPEG, text and logo are all also blurred and nothing is clear or crisp as it is in the PDF file... I can't post the PDF here, but the JPEG format is below in order to get a picture. The blue square logo in the Middle, that's what gives me problems with the PDF file. JPEG format looks OK on screen but looks terrible when printing.

If someone can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!!

You say you have tried resizing, but what are the dimensions in pixels of the image of your logo, and how siz you want to print?  What I often do in similar situations where an image is too small to feel, is to stretch the graphics layer with free transform and use it as a model to recreate the chart using the pen tool. It would be scalable to any size, and you could also save as a form for future use.
