"BOLD" of blackBerry Smartphones primer not after blocking up

During navigation on my "BOLD" locked. I removed the battery to reset/restart the system and after replacing the battery the device starts with a flashing red, then goes to a white screen with a clock cursor. After a few minutes shuts off and the process is repeated.

Connect the Blackberry to computer software shows no device.

Thanks in advance for your help.  Kent

Remove the battery again, leave a few minutes and try again. If it continues to not start, you may need to wipe and reload the operating system.

You have a good recent backup of your data?

I have a blackberry bold 9000 and has been updated from the last app on this subject yesterday. Due to the low battrey my laptop turns off until the software has been installed to prperly. I tried the following:

    (1) to take the battrey and turn on the phone and tried to load the software again but that doesn't seem to work because the software does not recognize my phone it says unknown device.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life.

Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

Have you tried to manually download the OS file to your first and installing from there.

First find your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  • "BOLD" of blackBerry Smartphones does not delete email

    Hi all

I searched high and low for the answer to that, if anyone can help I will be enternally gratefull!

We have BPS on SBS2003 with 3 BB. Two curves and work very well. No problem. "BOLD" however will not delete the e-mail on the handheld when it has been deleted from Outlook. However, when you remove it from your handheld, it deletes on Outlook!

I checked the permissions on all users of 3 and they are the same. I checked the "delete on handheld and mailbox" is correct on the "BOLD".

Anyone can shed some light on this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dave.

If you use Outlook 2003, is used the cached exchange mode? If so try turning off, close and reopen Outlook, try to send a test email and see if it is deleted.

Is e-mail still in the deleted items folder or the who was empty?

  • My Blackberry Bold 9900 blackBerry smartphones is not getting switched on

    Hello!

I am facing problem with my handheld. I've recently updated its software system as well. Now its not starting up. He gets hanged once operating system start loading.

So, just to be clear, and help understand me, you can't mode safe? And none of the methods 3 recovery related above are successful?

With this limited information, so the answer to your question is not... It would seem that you have some sort of hardware problem, for which no amount of OS or software fix can be of any help. Of course, hardware is also almost impossible to truly diagnose at a distance from the internet.

If you stay in the warranty, then I recommend that seek you assistance under these terms. If you have no warranty, so I recommend you are looking for a local (for you) store with a technician of BB to provide a proper evaluation and estimate.

    Good luck!

  • My Blackberry Bold 9700 blackBerry smartphones will not send SMS?

If I send a message, it just displays the symbol pending and sends even though I have plenty of signals and at least 3,000 units left? help please!

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    Now, try again.

In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not access Media card with BB Desktop or Media Sync 9700

The other day I received a Reburbed Bold 9700 update.

I use Ver 6 Deskstop OS and the 9700 is running device code latest version 5.

I have a Kingston 4 GB media card that I know is in place because the 9700 recognizes it and when I go to files and select the media card, I can see all the files on the card and when I take a picture it is written on the card so I know that memory is very good and he sees the 9700.

The problem I have is BB Deskstop or latest version of Media Sync to see so I can transfer files to and from my PC and the media card.

The error message that I receive on the two applications, it's that I have to turn on mass storage Mode.  When I look at my memory settings:

    Compression - enabled

Map of media Support - on

Mass Storage Mode Support - on

Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected - Yes

I formatted the card successfully on the BB.

I tried another card memory (2 GB) and also properly formatted as well.

I also tried another USB cable into another USB port.

I had a BB hard reset by pulling on the battery... several times.

I had another before Blackberrys and have never had a problem of access to the media card.  I would have thought that it is easier on the 9700.

I did search endlessly on the Web and saw other people with similar problems but many were so simple that the card is not seated properly and it also had the symptom that the BB is not recognizing the media card.  My BB recognize media cards and use them, but I can't access the card through my PC.  I understand that I may not see a pendrive pop up in Windows Explorer, but I can't understand why the BB Desktop or Media Sync cannot access.

I know that both of these applications communicate to the BB cause I get requests for passwords and the desktop, I can view all my applications and I used to update the device until the last OS level during the troubleshooting process.

I just wanted to see if anyone has experience this problem and has tips, if not I will contact AT & T or go into a local store to see if they can help.  I just think I'm missing something that I can take care off instead of my own.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Have you tried to connect the device on another computer?  If another computer to recognize the device, it may just be a case of bad USB drivers on your computer.

Here are some KB articles that may be able to help:

KB19717 - BlackBerry smartphone is not detected as a USB mass storage device when connected to a computer

KB10312 - impossible to display the map of support using the BlackBerry smartphone

You also need to remove the USB ports on your computer (using Device Manager), and then restart the computer to reload the correct drivers.

An alternative to this is to simply use a microSD card reader which allows you to use the microSD as a flash drive.

I hope that this info is another starting point for you!
