  so here is the question... you do not get a password business unless you are on a BES plan, it is for professional use... for personal use, you would use BIS (blackberry internet service)... to do this, you need a data plan activated BIS, chances are, your data plan is not for Blackberry use...
  I would give Vodafone a call and check your tariff plan.
  Once you have a plan active BIS, will allow you to have another option other than of the company e-mail configuration.

  Hi, I face the same problem on my 9900 5 days old. The screen touch everything just stopped working on day 2 & it has developed since then.

  I tried the following to correct the problem, but without success:

  1 cold Reboot (battery Pull when the device is powered)

  2. simple reboot (battery Pull when the device is OFF)

  3 remove the battery then, SIM & SD card plug battery and then pull it again & everything put in

  None of them have worked, my version of the OS is v7.0.0.261 Bundle 1346 platform 5.0.0.464 should update my phone software? Whenever I try to check for an upgrade it says that you have the latest being.

  Return the appliance to the store and warranty claim. You can try to update/reinstall OS device. But I think that a 5 day old device should not produce this program.

  If you don't have a BIS or BES plan, it won't work - even if you are connected over wi - fi.

  I ran the same problem with my "BOLD" on AT & T until I put it in service (I used the SIM card from my iPhone).

  Yahoo! has had some problems in recent months. It might actually be a problem with them and nothing to do with BB. I can't say for sure, however.

  I have a Blackberry 8529. Provider is Vodafone. I always had problems with access to the internet (it is very slow and often says that the page is too large). However, I have broadband at home and thought, that I was connected to it--but apparently not. I tried to access our broadband from BT, but tells me to enter a PIN code (generated by my BB) in to the router to wide band. There is no way to do this (no keyboard, etc.). All I want to do is to connect to my Wifi, and it's really frustrating because it seems simply not work. I tried to do it manually (put in the name of the router, then the password), but he said that I could not connect that way or the other. Anyone have any ideas? Please? and please and please?
