BootCamp + Windows 8.1 and Windows 10: trackpad and keyboard bluetooth always unsuccessful pairing

My computer is a model of end 2011 of 13-inch MacBook Pro. I use an external 27 "monitor and bluetooth trackpad and keyboard. Until the last week of July, 2016 that I used with Windows 8 with BootCamp 5, nicely. Then I got a message that Windows 8 would be not updated for critical and security updates. I decided to upgrade to 8.1 Windows but the trackpad wireless works intermittently, and the wireless keyboard is not working at all. I get a message to pair, but the pairing is always unsuccessful. Then I upgraded to Windows 10 and the same problems with wireless keyboard and trackpad.

Does anyone have a solution? Thank you

You can try this. UN-pair external Apple Trackpad and keyboard on the side OSX, pair it with test first, and then pair on the side Windows OSX.

    Hello

I try to use my USB 2.0 USB drive on my MBP 13.3 "in bootcamp Windows 10 and it does not appear in windows Explorer. The USB key is displayed in the device however Manager. I tried my hard drive that is USB 3.0 and it works fine, but the USB does not work. I have tried many different solutions and none seem to work including physical relocation and replacing the USB name i.e. H: U:. In disk management, the device is there but says "no media" below.

Someone at - it suggestions as to how I can get the USB appear in Windows Explorer and access the files?

Bravo to all the answers in advance.

the device is considered that the format is not. In some cases shaped on the Mac in Fat32 or ExFat is not readable under Windows. Reformat the Windows Fat32 or ExFat Device Manager device, it will destroy the data and mount the drive. In turn the unit may become unusable which can occur over time.

  • How (re) - add Apple keyboard to Bootcamp (Windows 7)

Hello, I've been running bootcamp windows 7 on iMac no problem for two years.  It was wired apple keyboard (w / numeric keypad).  Today it suddenly stopped working.  It does not show as one of the screen "devices."  I plugged on a MacBook, work very well.  so the problem doesn't seem to be the keyboard itself.  All devices plugged into USB work fine, it's not the USB ports.  Also tried to add the wireless keyboard that came with the iMac does not recognize.  Can anyone help?  Thank you.

    Hey there cl6120,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!

Let's take a moment and get the keyboard to work again, your Windows partition. I can imagine the challenge of computing without it! To ensure that your information is protected, it is always better to create a backup of the entire system. Find the steps detailed here:

Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac

Go ahead, this is an incredible resource that directs you to a resolution:

Use your Windows with Boot Camp Apple keyboard

    More precisely...

If your keyboard does not work

When you use Bootcamp to install Windows on your Mac, it installs the Windows support software (drivers) that allow you to use the features of the Apple keyboards in Windows. If your keyboard works start from your Mac OS X but not of Windows, try to reinstall the Windows support software from the Boot Camp Assistant.

  • 10 with Bootcamp Windows Bluetooth driver

    Hello

I have an iMac 27' end 2012, running El Capitan.

I recently installed 10 Windows on Bootcamp, and everything went well.

    Except for one thing:

No matter what I do, I can't get the bluetooth running module.

Specifically, its called "Bluetooth USB Host Controller."

Code 28 drivers were not installed. There is no compatible driver.

I tried the drivers 5.1.5621 and 5.1.5722 Bootcamp.

I even tried with handle of the driver file by adding the hardware ID.

    I even tried to kb.parallels AppleBluetoothBroadcomInstaller64.

It of pretty sad, I think, because the reason why I wanted Windows 10, was that the two bluetooth headsets I tried to pair it with Windows 7, did not work.

I tried many things, including the various drivers, external bluetooth software. no stable solution possible, even if the keyboard and magic mouse worked perfectly. specifically, I tried the bh111 of sbh20 and nokia sony.

And another funny thing: Apple Magic Mouse and keyboard work fine with Windows 10 (with the exception of the magic mouse scrolling feature).

I've read other threads. Basically, the message was: "we will have to wait for the next apple bootcamp drivers."

    Appreciate any help.

    Update:

I found a way, how you can install the driver.

You first clear the application of digital signature

    HTTP://COMMUNITY.US.PLAYSTATION.COM/T5/CONSOLES-PERIPHERALS/PS3-CONTROLLER-WITH-WINDOWS-10/M-P/45306699 #M182119

Then you manually change the driver Bootcamp Bluetooth (AppleBluetoothInstaller64)

Bluetooth host controller driver does not work

Well... I could pair my bluetooth headset. BUT... the quality of the sound is horrible, and he blames a delay and delays.

    Any help would be good.

  • HP Mini 1000, Windows 7 trackpad not working not

    Hi all

I tried to format my Mini this morning to install a legal copy of OEM of Win7 Pro. The first thing I noticed there is no mouse cursor during installation - not a big problem because I used a USB mouse. However, in Windows, the trackpad still did not recognize the level of basic pilot.

I discovered that others used the Synaptics for Vista on Win7 RC driver. Even if I use the final version, it does not for me! I see a Synaptics tab in the mouse settings, but there is no trackpad listed material. There is no relevant Windows Update either. I also tried the Synaptics for HP WinXP driver, but the same thing happens.

Has anyone had experience with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    SOLVED!

A call to technical support. This was the fix:

Stop, remove the battery, remove AC power, press and hold the power switch for a minute, put the battery and AC back in and power on. The BIOS has been reset to the default values for the security.

Hope this helps someone else out there.

    Hi all

I just bought a Thunderbolt Apple display to use with my 2012 15 "27" Macbook Pro Win10/Boot Camp running. Is anyone know the procedure to get the display to work with Bootcamp/Windows 10? Is there a setting in the training Camp that must be turned on to make it work? I have connected screen but could not get a desktop display.  Any help would be really appreciated! TY

The monitor should have a TB and adapter power connector. The monitor works on both OSX. ? If so, shut down of windows, connect monitor and start Windows. Your TB 2012 monitor is not plug-and-play with Windows.

Please see ports Thunderbolt and views: frequently asked questions (FAQ) - Apple Support .

    1. the "hot pluggable" Thunderbolt devices using Windows with Boot Camp?

Thunderbolt hot plugging is supported under Windows 8 or 8.1 on all Macs from 2014 and later.

For all other Mac computers, Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 scans and active them Thunderbolt devices connected to ports Thunderbolt during the Windows startup process. If your device has been plugged in not at startup, Windows detects not without a reboot.

  • Cannot extend imported bootcamp windows 10 disc

I imported my instance of windows 10 bootcamp partition in VMWare Fusion 8.1 because I want to start running it practically, but when I created the partition boot camp of origin I did hilarious small (40 GB). I need to resize on the rise... but... the disc size already reports that this is the size of my Mac drive and it wont let me not reduce it from the interface of VMWare - it will only allow me to extend upward.

    Screenshot 2016-02-19 08.30.53.png

    Screenshot 2016-02-19 08.32.01.png

Instructions say open the virtual machine itself and expand the partition... but this option is grayed out when I right click on the drive in windows 10, perhaps because it seems that it is to see the other drives on the hard drive to the mac (but this is an instance of boot camp imported , does not not out of boot camp).

    Screenshot 2016-02-19 08.36.25.png

I found an article intended for XP users who suggest to delete the virtual machine mac partition but this idea frankly gives me the willies directionless some more recent.

Any ideas what to try? I'm having a devil of a time finding useful documents...

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

It is not a stupid question.

If you import the virtual machine that you mentioned your disc looks like always on when it is running under bootcamp.

So your virtual disk is exactly the same as the before done physical disk structure. I don't know why VMware engineers went this way, but my best guess would be that it makes the import/clone of a virtual machine that is less prone to error.

I don't have the exact steps to make sure that the disk you are using is indeed not a bootcamped score more. If you have removed the bootcamp on your machine and may still start the virtual machine then that would be a good indicator that it is indeed an imported VM. Other signs are the size that the virtual machine is on your machine. If running as a training camp for the size is tiny as the virtual machine should only have meta data pointing to the real disk.

Before you do anything, make a backup of your virtual machine on an external drive, so that you have something to fall back on.

FWIW, other people had the same problem, for example here, size of HARD drive on the Conversion of Bootcamp at VM , but if you're looking for there's more.

I just upgraded to a 1 TB HD on my Mac Mini early 2009. • Pavilion 550-153NA: allow me to interact with the mouse and keyboard when Windows 7 starts at startup

    Hello

I am trying to downgrade from Windows 10 in Windows 7. I tried to install Windows 7 but it keeps telling me that "Windows Setup experienced an unexpected error. To install windows, restart the installation. "I rebooted several times, but I still have the error. Then, I tried to install it by starting the drive at startup. All charge very well and the configuration screen appears. But I went to move the mouse, but it should not move. I tried several different mice and keyboards, but there was no hope, both USB 3.0 and 2.0. I did some research and found that you have to enable 'Legacy Support' in the BIOS. I did this, but there was still no movement.

If someone could apply their knowledge via a comment, it would be very appreciated that I constantly tried since end of December 2015!

    Thank you very much

  • BootCamp Windows does not start after you have enabled disk encryption

Hello everyone, I am in a desperate situation and I need your help. Here is my sitatuaion.

I have 13-inch MacBook Pro (early 2011). I put an SSD inside as my main drive and I also put an extra drive (HDD) in the optibay instead of my drive superdrive. The structure, I had was this:

    (1) my entire SSD was my OS X disk.

2 my HDD optibay had three partitions: partition backup Time Machine, a) b) Extra partition (for stuff like media), c) Windows partition with Windows 7 installed.

Had that Setup for a long time and everything worked very well, my SSD has been saved on the Time Machine partition on the HARD drive in my optibay.

Then, I decided to turn on the File Vault 2. First of all I did for the SSD with my OS X on it. Everything went well and I could always start my Windows 7. Then, I decided to encrypt my Time Machine backup (because what's the point to encrypt the main system disk if you do not encrypt the backup as well?) -Here too everything went well.

In other words, until I needed to start Windows. I have restarted my Mac, hold down option, the picker contraption came, but there was no windows to the choice. I came once before (but), so I knew I could always start in it.

I jumped into my USB thumbdrive with fairing on it, he chose and he gave my start on the Windows partition option. But this time it did not work, I got an error message saying my there is no bootable device or something like that.

I have confidence in turning the things of encryption for the partition of Time Machine (which is on the same HDD as my Windows partition) screwed disc here.

The only question is: can I fix, start Windows, without having to install it from scratch? What I want is to have encryption enabled for both drive my main SSD where I have my OS X installed AND the partition of Time Machine that is on the disk in the optibay HARD and also have a Windows partition on it, but still be able to start Windows.

I am running 10.11.13 El Capitan.

Can you help me somehow? Here is my list of cs diskutil:

Your problem is not related to FileVault2. Your question should have begun when additional Apple_HFS was created. Please after the release of

    sudo fdisk/dev/disk1

If you have a problem with your Mac, you can potentially lose the SSD and backup TM. It is not an optimal configuration. A TM must be physically separated from your Mac, so you can restore the TM backup to a new Mac, if necessary.

Also, since you removed the optical drive, re - install Windows on your 2011 model is a very rough road to travel.
