• Something has changed in my bootstrap.css after deletion. Any help? Thank you.

  I had a div and add a small picture h2 title and text then he repeated several times. With the need to resize the boxes, I decided it is easier to remove them and keep just one, resize and then re - duplicate.

  This action appeared to change something in my bootstrap.css so now it has an asterisk. Now, whenever I try to save, he's trying to save bootstrap.css. I could save it as bootstrap1.css and move, but who could ruin everything. Help Adobe said that there must be an error in the source code for the cause. I don't know that it seems to me.

  An asterisk on the tab means that the file is not saved.

  BTW, you must create a separate file custom.css to your replacements & style changes.  This way, if you mess up big time, you can always revert to the original do not touch the Bootstrap CSS file.

  Newly downloaded Dreamweaver CC at the top of a new brand of the Mac desktop line and I run into this... bootstrap.css does not exist. Click on create to create a bootstrap.css file

  No idea what to do.

  What happens if you go to file > New > Starter models > models Bootstrap and select one of the pre-built?  See screenshot.  Then click on the button create.

  To get a little more familiar with the concept of reagent and "bootstrap", I downloaded a boot-gen-4 data model. This comes with a lot of explanation, that is not the issue. My problem is that it seems as if I should add the title (my company) on each page I do. I thought that would be a set time in css (custom.css or bootstrap.css or...)

  No matter what I try I can't get my title is displayed on each site. Maybe I should strip the model of all the example pages, I know not (the only place to add your title (company name) seems to be in the index.html file.

  I have to admit that I'm not a css and still less specialist "bootstrap" etc., so maybe someone can give me some info that helps me understand a little better.

  And if this all sounds a little vague, let me know, I could send code or whatever is needed...

• Why Dreamweaver uses an older version of Bootstrap.css?

  Whenever I want to choose a component bootstrap, DW said that will create a new css/js file because the component is not fully compatible with the current css/js file (less than version 3.0).

  I've seen other similar topics and tried their apparent corrections by resetting the preferences etc but maintaining thing same happing. I also checked my version of css "bootstrap" and it is V2, V3 not (see attached screenshot).

• Cannot delete exercise files. bootstrap. Locked CSS. No authorization

  Traveled once dynamic tutorial. You wanted to try again. Tried to delete all the folders. But I was told that I can not remove the Bootstrap.css because it is locked and in use, even after you leave dreamweaver app and restart the computer. Fix?

  Solution of ben should solve the problem, but it should not be necessary to unlock bootstrap.css to remove it. When you try to delete all the files in a Bootstrap site, Dreamweaver displays an alert to warn you that bootstrap.css is locked and request confirmation that you want to remove. Just click Yes and it will be gone.

• Editing a template with CSS and Bootstrap

  1. I have a template that I had struggled to change. There are portions of the page that I need to hide until I can fill this space with content. Up until then, I would like for the model structure to remain intact but hidden from the public. Is it possible to do?

  2. use Chrome or Firefox right-click > inspect element to see what selectors and where they are in your css files, control the styles for a given element. Then create overrides in a separate linked after the bootstrap css css file in yoursection.

  3. search 'Modal Windows in bootstrap' for info on that. There should be a little info and tutorials out there on how to do it.

  According to GetBootstrap.com, (http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/scaffolding.html) to make a sensitive project, you must add another .css file, bootstrap - responsive.css.  But I've seen many models that do not have this .css file associated with the project.  Does anyone know what is true?  I don't want the project to meet.

  And if it is necessary, how do you get?  Do not see it as a separate part of the Bootstrap download in bootstrap.css.

• bootstrap. There is no CSS

  My newly installed Dreamweaver CC 2015 on Mac OS 10.10.5 is not allowing me to create a new document using the Bootstrap framework.

  Each time I try to make it an error message comes up saying:

  "there is no bootstrap.css. Click on create to create a bootstrap.css file. »

  But create new is already clicked. Does anyone know why this might be happening, please?

  -Uninstall and reinstall the app (three times, actually) has not solved it.

  -The problem persists even after restarting my Mac in Mode safe.

  -Java 8 60 update is installed.

  -To allow Illustrator CS6 Yosmite without Java Runtime 6, working in my system > library > Java file, I used the recommended solution to empty instances of 1.6.0.jdk (in the JavaVirtualMachines subfolder), and Deploy.bundle (in the support subfolder). Could this interferes with 8 Java Java Runtime Environment; and, if so, could that prevent Dreamweaver CC to run?

  The only other CC installed on my system apps are setup CC, Muse CC 2015 and Acrobat Pro DC. They work OK. Either way, Dreamweaver CS6 works fine, as are all my other CS apps.

  Re: Creating a new Bootstrap document does not create required dependent files.

  It turns out that there is a folder in my Macintosh HD volume, called "MAcintosh HD" 2011. It contains a users folder and nested only one with my user name and another called ' [my name] sites. None contained no file, not even invisible. So I trashed it and hey presto, Dreamweaver has decided to work.

  I have no idea how that ghost volume has been created, or what, but I hope this helps someone else if they have a similar problem.

• New model of bootstrap file is not css

  I play with Bootstrap in the new version of Dreamweaver CC 2015.

  I created a new site for the test, then "file / new", select "started models / Bootstrap models / 'Bootstrap-agency'.» I get a dialog box "save under" to "Agency.css" and simply click on "Save".  (He points to the root of the site).  I can get the original document to HTML (with the tab 'bootstrap.css', 'Agency.css', "jquery.js" and "bootstrap.js") and another ' Save as ' dialog box for the HTML file.  (Even once, it points to the root of the site.)  After clicking on 'save', I get the dialog box 'Copy dependent files' that lists all css, img, js, etc. files  One of the files listed is "Agency.css".

  "" ["When you click on 'Copy', I get an error that"c:\[path file in my root site] \Agency.css ' does not exist, so it cannot be copied."

  

  I tried several other models, and they all give the same error.

  Am I missing something?

  Adobe technical support reset preferences DW CC 2015, and the model no longer try to create the file Agency.css (useless).

  You can change the Bootstrap default css file, but unless you know what you are doing I would not touch. He is blocked for some reason - it contains many lines of css code that you probably don't understand and if you replace accidentally vital of it parts then the page does not work as it should.

  After having said that if you want to change it, click on the file and make it editable / writing (not recommended)

  What you need to do is to create an another style sheet, bind it to the page AFTER the link to the css Bootstrap file and make changes to this

  I was wondering if someone could tell me 1) how important mixins are, and 2) if there are ways to work with them outside of SASS.

  I spent the last few hours trying to get this stuff in place. I'm on a Mac running OSX Yosemite. You cannot install SASS until you have installed Ruby, that you can not install without having to install "command line tools." But you can not work with Ruby without installing Rails.

  I have installed two or three other software until I found myself at SASS - only to find out that it apparently does not work.

  So I was just wondering if mixins are worth it, and if yes, is the only SASS vehicle to access? I don't understand even exactly how they work without being able to create a working model, but they look good.

  the importance of mixins

  Mixins allow document authors define value property pairs templates, which can then be reused in other rule sets. The name of the mixin is a class selector that identifies the mixin to be declared. Here is an example of a mixin:

  As you can see, it reduces the amount of work, in the example above, when I want to apply a RADIUS to several different classes. Best of all, the mixin can be used in all my projects without any tweak.

  Bootstrap CSS is written Foundation CSS is written in Sass. If you want to get the most out of each frame, you do this by using the source code. The good side is that less / Sass understand good old fashioned CSS. This allows to get used to the precompiled versions of CSS without losing valuable time for learning. Little by little, you can start using the real features.

  Make sure that the custom map is loaded after the original stylesheet. If this does not help, you can always use ! important to ensure that the value cannot change.

  This can be done outside of Dreamweaver. In Windows, use File Explorer to set the ReadOnly property.

  I am fighting many hours with the system to all blog links but are not able to solve the problem. Once you click in the overview blog to a specific blog item the system generates a new page without CSS bit? I put a page template for the blog and if I use the preview, it seems fine. Global blog discovers a message display. It seems that the system does not use the CSS of the model? Is this a bug?

  Something like that, is not what you do find the path in British Colombia.

  British Colombia has a very simple structure of the root, so know what the above will simply:

  So any source CSS, script and image templates and page layouts must start / and nothing else to read from the root.

  It and it will sort this problem and when you use web applications, trade electronics and sub pages of the record in the future.
