• Windows 7 and Bose Companion 5 speaker system lose sound intermittently.

• Bose Companion 2 multimedia speakers

  I have Bose Companion 2 pregnant media supplied with my Dell desktop computer I bought in 2009. My speakers worked perfectly until this past Sunday when all of a sudden the volume on the speakers went from 100% to 40%.  I checked all connections, but also check the volume on the Realtek Audio Manager and everything is in order.  I even tested the volume on the speakers and volume works but not at a level of 100% of its capacity.

  Is this reduction in sudden volume due to old age on the speakers, since I've had them since 2009?  Is keep your cell phone near the speakers destroyed them?  I ordered from another pair of identical speakers.

• HP a110z-251 HP: my pc HP 251-a110z has internal speakers?

  I can't hear any sound - if I plug headphones I hear.
  If I use a USB bluetooth and use my earpiece to my android phone, it works - but the microphone does not work.

  No, there are no speakers built into the monitor.  You can buy external speakers.  I highly recommend watching the USB speakers.  The connection to your computer via a USB port.  My next speaker with being pregnant BOSE Companion 5.  They are expensive, but you don't need a sound card.

  SmallBizMD, welcome to the forum.

  This is the page for Specifications of the motherboard of the computer.  It seems that the only Audio output port only supports two channels.  You can find this information in the section titled "rear i/o Ports.  I suggest watching the Bose Companion 5 speaker system.  They are a bit expensive, but they connect to a USB 2.0 on your computer.  They do not require a sound card.  This will be my next computer speakers.  They sound very good and do not use a lot of space on your desktop.

• My computer does not recognize my speakers...

  I have a desktop Pavilion with Windows 7.

  Several months ago, I bought a speakers 'Bose Companion 5' system, which is compatible with Windows 7. It worked beautifully until about four weeks when all of a sudden the computer decides that she does not recognize the Bose speakers. After trying several times to fix the problem, I just unplugged the speakers.

  Then, a few weeks ago, I took a chance and reconnect the computer and heckling speakers! It worked!

  Well, long story short, when I logged on to the computer at night last Windows made one of their 'critical updates'. After that my computer was freezing every few minutes and my new speakers Bose were not recognized by computer!

  I did a system restore, but I had to restore it to a date where the speakers weren't working. And of course, they are not recognized.

  It drives me crazy! There is absolutely no reason that my computer recognizes no not my speakers!

  I wonder if the problem is with the USB port and if it is, does that mean that the ports will all fail?

  Can someone help me here please? I am so tired of fighting with the computer!

  I'm jealous of your speakers.  In my opinion, they are among the best.

  Have you tried plugged into every USB port on the computer?  Sometimes it will work and another will not.  Also, have you looked at the "Control Panel / Device Manager / Universal Bus USB controllers" to make sure that they are all recognized and there is no yellow exclamation through them?

  For future use, when the application for aid, you must always include the brand / model of the computer or the monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications for them.

  This is the page for Specifications of the motherboard of the computer.  Scroll to the I/O ports/rear section of i/o ports to the list of ports and what they do.

  There are many good speaker systems, but in my opinion the Bose Companion 5 system is the best.  While it is expensive, you don't have to buy a sound card to make their great sound.  They connect to your system via a USB port.  Integrated sound will not simply allow good speakers to reach their full potential.  If Bose is too expensive, here is a pair of Logitech speakers who have a lot of good reviews.  Read the reviews to see what the owners have to say about them.

• XPS 8700 - adjust the bass and treble?

  Running Windows 10, with 'Audio Dell' (it is what it is called in the settings) and Bose Companion 2 speakers.  In earlier versions of Windows and in fact back to BACK 3.11, I was always able to locate a "sound engineer", where the high and low levels can be set.  For this system, nothing in the Device Manager or settings seems to give me this option.  Y at - it some trail adjustment that I am on, or is there some cool freeware that can fill the void?

• Problems with Dell XPS 435 sound

  I have a DELL XPS Studio desktop purchased in 2009 with Vista 64-bit OS. Until 3 days ago, the speakers on my computer worked. These are the original speakers that came with my BOSE Companion 2 multimedia pregnant computer. Initially, the sound was 100%, now it is suddenly down to 40%. I upgraded the speakers Bose one another and I will always have the same problem, my sound quality is reduced from 100 to 40%.

  The SndTAudio.sys file is not a system file. Probably, those are disabled and disconnected device listed in playback devices. To prevent these disabled/disconnected display devices, you can right-click the empty space in the reading devices and uncheck show disabled/disconnected devices.

  Also, I will suggest you to run a scan for viruses online on the computer.

• No sound on video with win 7 pro

  Win 7 pro played sound in the videos for a while, he STOPPED! I did as much as I do. Checked for mute, checked the performance evaluation report, checked the event logs, checked for obvious dll conflicts, checked the recent applications loaded and read the newspaper in the performance evaluation. The sound comes in a video for a few seconds, then stops. ALL system sounds stop. Only a reboot will bring the sounds and they will stop when a video is viewed. Sound does not work in media player for cd this happens in Explorer and Google. My voice from screaming at the computer - that did not really work! One last thing the speakers are Bose USB and don't need you the internal Realtec card to work. Bose speakers when tests show they are working but no sound!

  If there are any drivers associated with USB speakers, to update with the latest supported versions from manufacturers web site (if you have not already done).

  I can now record in the IMAC and here myself through the headphones into the mixer - play recording by the companions of Bose.

  I guess I have to introduce path 1 to mixer so I can hear the track and voice mix at the same time right?

  So I need a straight audio interface? If so - what kind, £150 is very good.

  Don't know how I make the mixture in my headphones, I guess I could pre fade 1 9 track (i.e. my music) as a hack or just open the fader... oh I'm confused. Even better if you can make 1, 2, 3 for me

  Well, I couldn't find the 900 EPM on the Soundcraft site... just the 08/06/12 EPM.  Depending on how the EPM900 differs from those I found, there might be a way to make your follow-up help to send on the mixer - bring the computer in the mixer, set the pre melted, increase departures on both the mic and computer chains, but only reveal the fader for the microphone you save.  If you can monitor the departures to the helmet, it would basically make you want.

  However, I would probably recommend you go even when on the road of the audio interface.  Audio integrated on computers are notoriously bad quality (Yes, even Macs), so more convenience you would also get much less noise and a lot more.

  In your price range are quite a few models.  I can personally recommend the Alesis iO2 - I have one that I use for simple location records during the use not my big digital mixing console.  The iO2 goes for about $100 in most USA providers.

  If you want to look at the others, the only feature you want to look for is followed directly.  This will allow you to monitor your microphone without the latency that occurs to send your voice on a round trip via your computer and DAW.
