• Lightroom mobile photos and collections removed from Office not withdrawn for iPad and iPhone

  I removed a collection office of Lightroom a few weeks ago and it is still showing on my iPad and iPhone.  The deleted collection went on the site.  I took lots of photos of the "iPhone pictures" collection on my desk.  They are all still playing on my iPad and iPhone.  Some are still show on the Web site.  Some have grey thumbnails on the Web site, but say 'image unavailable '.

  How to remove mobile LR on my iPhone and iPad collections?  How to remove photos from a collection on my iPhone and iPad?  Please don't tell me I have to go and delete each one individually.

  Have you turned off the sync collection until you have removed from the collection in Lr Desktop. Could you try to re-sign-in for Lr Mobile and see if that helps.

  You put all the files 'in' Lightroom and move from another location.  When you add images in the Lightroom Catalog, Lightroom knows just where the images are found in your computer system.  If you know the name of the folder where you downloaded these video files, everything that you need to do is to navigate to the folder and they will be there.  If you don't know where they have been downloaded, you then need to do a search with one of your OS tools to locate.  But they are not in Lightroom.

  I did the same thing, but have been unable to find a way to get them exchanged.  Almost all links on the site that may be useful gives me a screen "header 403 is too great" or something of that nature.  I managed to send them a message via the site, but they sent me by saying that they cannot ship to a P.O. box.  I bought the electronic download version, I have no need of whatever it is shipped.  The portal that the email sends me to see my case file, and if all goes well to answer gives me 403 header is too big screen.  I have never been so frustrated in my life from a company.  I want to be able to use the product without having to pay for it.

  Windows 8.1,

  8 GB of ram.

  The application crashes at startup upward. Splash screen shows but when I hover over with the mouse or click on the app, I get "not responding". Things I've tried: rename the preferences file, delete the file from catalog .lock, update windows 8.1.

  All the other things I can try?

  You can check for problems with preferences and try to rename or delete the file prefs.js and possible prefs - numbered # .js and a user.js file possible to restore the values all default prefs.

  There are many other options that you can try, but I'll give you a few first steps that will make a big difference.

  1. download and run the program called rkill Majorgeeks.com.  This will kill all processes of viruses on your computer.

  2 download and install CCleaner from Piriform.com.  Manage the standard cleaner.

  3. use the Tools tab in CCleaner to open uninstaller and remove any bloat-ware.  Make sure that get you everything on Google before you remove, the removal of C++ Redistributable packages or system drivers can cause major problems.

  4. look in your c: Drive for all files Norton or Symantec.  IF you see one then download and run the Norton removal tool, make sure that you get it from the official website of Symantec or Majorgeeks.com.
