Problem with sending a message when you're connected via Wi - Fi

Hello. Still getting used to my Dext (owned it for about 4 days). I noticed this morning that I can't send the mail from the POP3 account, I set up on my Dext when I am connected via Wi - Fi - when I try I get an "authentication failure". When I disable Wi - Fi email sends end. There is no problem with webmail - send although I am connected to the Wi - Fi or 3 G network.

Anyone know how to send the mail while POP3 on the Wi - Fi network? Thanks in advance...

Understand the problem - port incorrect settin for mail server outgoing. Changed to 587 according to some messages that I saw during a search - that did the trick!

Then last night on a group text between me and another user of iphone and a droid user messages were not all going through and an 'unknown' appeared on the screen of the droid users as if this person has attempted to send a message to our group text but nothing was there.  Iphone users could not see it.  This morning - messages still does not go through the text of the group or on one.  Any ideas?

  • Problems with clicking and scrolling when you are using the mouse in IE

    Original title:

    Problems with clicking and scrolling when you are using the mouse

    I have the same problem.  My touchscreen responds but my touchpad and mouse are unable to save a click in IE.  I need to reboot to rectify.  It seems to be more common when the laptop comes out of fashion 'sleep'.   I tried all the steps above, everything is up-to-date.

    Hello Fred,.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I appreciate your efforts to resolve the issue.

    I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
    Run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check. Please follow these steps:

    a. press Windows + W keys, type Troubleshooting in the search box and press on Enter.
    b. click on 'show all' and then click 'hardware and devices'.
    c. click 'Next' and then follow the on-screen instructions.

    If this does not help, then use method 2.

    Method 2:
    Start your computer in safe mode and check the number.
    Refer to this article:
    Start settings for Windows (including safe mode)

  • "communication not available with the printer" message when you try to print to a Lexmark 1270 x all-in-one

    I am running windows xp family.  I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden, I get this message when I try and print to my lexmark x 1270 "communication not available with the printer. I tried every troubleshooter, I contacted Lexmark support that they gave up, saying: it must be a file is missing from the windows registry, you can help me?

    It seems that if you say that the pilots were not reinstalled successfully.  What was the mystery file that could not be found?

    Do you remember how the software has been uninstalled?  Was something else than the control panel > Add / Remove Programs (or the link "Uninstall" from start > all programs) used?

    If you do not really clean things, attempts to reinstall the printer drivers may actually just end up putting the old drivers back in place.

    This is the easiest way to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers: Article 1.  The critical step is #4.

    This page has more detailed advice for cleaning things out before you reinstall: http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

    I asked the firewall and antivirus applications because sometimes, some security software may interfere with the printers.  This shouldn't be a problem with the firewall of Windows XP and Microsoft Security Essentials.

    Finally, your problem could end up being hardware related.  Lexmark support has no hardware troubleshooting operation?  The manual for your x 1270 says:

    All-in-One is not communicating with the computer

    1. disconnect and reconnect both ends of the USB cable. For more help, see the
    installation documentation.
    2 unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, plug it in again, and
    Press Power. For more information, refer to the installation documentation.
    3 restart the computer. If the problem continues, remove and then reinstall
    the software. For more information, see page 16. [which ask you to remove the software using the link "Uninstall" - which is not complete, as described above]

    If you have another type of printer USB cable, you should try it exchanges.  Ideally, you need to connect to the printer on another computer, but maybe it's not convenient for you.

  • Sansa clip volume problem with 'clipping' or 'pop' - when it is connected to the car radio

    I have two Clips Sansa (2 GB and 4 GB) and that both exhibit the same behavior.  When you listen to the Clips with a helmet, all right.  However, when I connect the clips on my car stereo (using a cable miniRCA to the dashboard stereo) Clips will play OK but the problem is due to the noise of road etc, should I increase the volume on the stereo of dashboard and Clips.  However, when I do that, at some point, the Clips will be 'clip' or 'pop' when the noise gets to a certain level.  I tried to change back and forth between normal and strong volume and also played with the equalizer with no effect.  My car stereo volume is thus contributed to the maximum.  This is a real problem because it is virtually impossible to listen to the Clip when driving (especially with podcasts or audio books where sometimes the voice is low, then I need to turn up the volume).  Is there some kind of limiter built into the Clip?  If so, is it possible to disable it?

    Thank you!

    I don't know how you are set up exactly, but try another cord to connect to the car. It can be such a thing as the cord you can not handle put it.

  • "Change the graphics card" spam message when you are connected to the AC adapter / CC

    Normally, I run my laptop computer Alienware 17 dedicated graphics processor NVIDIA with integrated graphics off. However, I've recently been submerged do with the following message will be displayed that plugged my AC adapter: "switch of graphics card. "For the life of optimal dough, press Fn + F5 to switch to the integrated graphics card (a system Reboot is required).

    I noticed this a couple of days, because as soon as I plug my adapter by practicing a game (for example, the Lord of the Rings Online) my fps drops dramatically. I realized that if I tap ctrl + alt + delete as the above message keeps popping up. If I close the message in a new guard burst until I have unplug the power adapter.

    To my knowledge, it is normal that the message appears when the plug/unplug the power adapter for the first time, but I can't understand why it is me spamming with this message even after I close it at the start. I tried to update my NVIDIA graphics card, have changed again my computer of the discrete graphics integrated graphics and back to the integrated graphics card, have made sure that NVIDIA is selected as my discrete graphics and have updated my BIOS. None of them help.

    If anyone knows what's going on or if there is a way to disable this notification, I would really appreciate it!

    PS My power adapter works fine (it is not loose or damaged) and I ran diagnosis at startup which showed all systems running 100%.

    After much further research, I was able to find a way to disable the notification.

    Windows + R, type msconfig, then click on the Startup tab to open the Task Manager and disable the display on-screen Alienware. Restart the computer, and the popup no longer appears.

  • Problem with the archive log when you use RMAN for backup and restore (11g 2)

    Hello world
    Please help me solve this problem.
    I'm just beginner in Oracle Database (11 g 2). Today, I had a problem, I tried to back up and restore my db by RMAN. I delete all the files in /u01/app/oracle/oradata/orcl / * , then I restore them easily, but the point is I have a table, I can restore Hungarian, but cannot restore anything ranks in it (something wrong with step restore database). I'll tell the detail below.
    -First, I create a 'Day' with command table create table hr.day (varchar (20)) day. Then I backup complete by this:
    run{
    allocate channel bkp device type DISK FORMAT '/u01/backup/DB_FULL_%d_%T_s%s_p%p' ;
    backup as compressed backupset incremental level 0 tag 'DB_FULL' database include current controlfile;
    backup as compressed backupset tag 'ARCL_BKP_FULL' archivelog all delete input;
    crosscheck archivelog all;
    crosscheck backup;
    delete noprompt obsolete;
    release channel bkp;
    }

    D ' other hand, I have insert 'Monday' to table. then do an incremental backup by this:

    run{
    allocate channel bkp device type DISK FORMAT '/u01/backup/DB_INC_%d_%T_s%s_p%p' ;
    backup as compressed backupset incremental level 1 tag 'DB_INC' database include current controlfile;
    backup as compressed backupset tag 'ARCL_BKP_INC' archivelog all delete input;
    crosscheck archivelog all;
    crosscheck backup;
    delete noprompt obsolete;
    release channel bkp;
    }

    Repeat 7 times (Monday-> Saturday). And I got these files:

    [oracle@rac ~]$ ls -l /u01/backup/
    total 400280

    If i ignore it and open the database, just my table in full backup come back but rows was not restored. I'm sure the problem is my archive log backup but i don't know how to solve it. Plz help me.

    Sorry for a long post.

    > 1 and from the 1205841 SNA sequence

    The SCN that indicates Oracle is above the range of SNA that you have in the ArchiveLog backups for sequence 1 to 15 (15 sequence ends at 1205840).

    The message

    channel ORA_DISK_1: restoring archives Journal

    Archives journal thread = 1 sequence = 15

    channel ORA_DISK_1: backup/u01/backup/DB_INC_ORCL_20160120_s117_p1 piece reading

    channel ORA_DISK_1: piece handle = / u01/backup/DB_INC_ORCL_20160120_s117_p1 tag = ARCL_BKP_INC

    indicates that he has restored the sequence up to 15

    You can check the log file alert database instance for messages on the fact of recovery.

    He is now asking sequence #1 it seems you did a RESETLOGS after sequence #15.

    Note: If you have NOT issued a COMMIT after the line is INSERTED in the table 'Day', the recovery of the database will have no * transactions * to retrieve.  An uncomitted transaction is cancelled.

  • Problem with Satellite Z830 restart when you wake up

    Hi all, I have an occasional problem where when I wake up my Z830, the screen will become black, restart the computer, and I get the screen "Windows did not shut down correctly.

    It happens from time to time, but I think with the following sequence of events:
    1 put the computer to sleep by closing the lid
    2. pull out the computer by opening the cover

    Once I restart using the 'start Windows normally' option, all right.

    Does anyone else know this? I love this phone, so not thinking that there are already problems!

    > Happens from time to time, but I believe that with the following sequence of events:
    > 1. Put the computer to sleep by closing the lid

    Does this happen if access mode sleep otherwise? for example clicking on the Start button and choosing to sleep?
    This happens with the hibernation mode too?

  • problem with the system restore when you try to back up disks

    my system crashed.  would not boot.  Several attempts later, went to the system recovery... do you have a full upward (23 dvd) then did a complete restore.  laptop works.  However restore my files from the backup disks does not work.  I get a failure in the system restore somewhere in the treatment of the disc 12 (out of 23).  Help!  sighing heavily... of course this happens when I am in a time crunch

    Hello cyberterp. I see that you are having problems to restore your data from backup disks. To make sure that I understand you were able to make the recovery of the operating system, but the data you have saved in the course of the process you're trying to get now?

    Check the bottom of the twelve disc and make sure that there are no scratches on it. If there is even the smallest scratch to find a local store that will shine the disc for you; This can allow you to read the data. If discs are in perfect condition and then either media are bad or there was a problem (unnoticed) during the backup process and it is unlikely that you will be able to recover the data.

  • Problem with the new line when you manually run a procedure in SQL * more

    The procedure below works fine in SQL * more when all EXEC < procedure_name > (parameter1, parameter 2,...); is placed on a single line
    SQL > exec cust_admin_util.create_schema (P_SCHEMA_NAME => 'SCOTT_01', P_SCHEMA_PWD => 'scott123', P_TBS_NAME => 'TRAG_TBS', p_temptbs_name => 'TEMP' );

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    I wanted to perform the same procedure with readability. So, I put each parameter on a separate line and try to run. But it's the slightest mistake out.
    SQL > exec cust_admin_util.create_schema
